  1. That's not true. Their core are draft picks: White, Allen, Edmunds, Oliver, Dawkins, Milano, Ford, Singletary, Knox are all draftees. There are other draftees and UDFA who contribute: Wallace, Neal, Foster, Johnson among them. Every team will have a lot of Free Agents. The league is designed for turnover. When teams are close they go for big fish. The Bills are close. And you notice most deals are two years or can be shredded after two years. Matches up with end of Allen's 5th year.
  2. Seems like Yeldon got short changed for some reason.
  3. Haskins isn't secure in DC. New leadership is there and Haskins didn't light it up last season. Don't be shocked if they grab Cam. Haskins could benefit from sitting a couple years. He wasn't supposed to start last year. Keemun wasn't good enough to make it stay that way. No guarantee Miami has the chance to draft the guy they want. In which case Cam. If he's shown to be healthy I think Cam will get his chance to compete to be a starter. But that won't come until physicals are possible again.
  4. Gotcha. He might get a few touches, but I think they will bring in a different back to work the majority of time with Singletary. Once that guy is brought in Jones' likely role won't bother you as much.
  5. Agree. I imagine they see Jones as someone who could contribute on offense if need be. He was also a Special Teams Captain when he was in Buff. I don't think he's a throwaway signing.
  6. Game day rosters expanded by 2 players.
  7. That's all possible but I don't think Cam is a backup if healthy. He's better than Fitz, Tyrod, Dwayne Haskins, Trubisky, Foles and others. His health outlook might keep him from getting placed though.
  8. This is my thought as well. Miami, possibly Washington.
  9. Don't think they can if they wanted to. They have to extend White, Dawkins, Milano, eventually extend Edmunds and Allen too; the thing no one mentions is that Diggs will eventually get a raise sooner than later if he plays like himself. Paying him what he's due to make won't fly.
  10. Most back up QB's have issues. That's why they're back ups. Jameis would have more talent than most of them. Mr. Picksomatic is also Mr. TD Thrower. He can give a team a chance to win if the starter is out because of his arm talent. That's all one can ask out of a backup; most backups are a short ride to a loss. Jameis is also a guy that could potentially be moved down the line whether he plays or not because a QB with starting talent will eventually be needed somewhere in the league.
  11. Jameis. The chairs are filling up. It looks like he might have to be a back-up somewhere for a year or two.
  12. Yep. But considering each team routinely rolls out 3 WR's being top 10ish is damn good; and that's with him splitting so many targets. He has the talent to be in that top group if Josh hits him consistently.
  13. Taron Johnson is good, but also misses time. Starccan come off the books after this season; then what? If Reader were there the transition is already in place. No beats missed.
  14. Offensive Tackle, or trade and pick up a couple more picks and grab a few offensive linemen.
  15. True. But AJ Dillon might be perfect for that change of pace role. POWERFUL and good speed too.
  16. Diggs will be great for the Bills. Newsflash. Players who have always been difference makers will get upset if their team does not involve them in a game, especially if the team is losing. He makes plays when targeted.
  17. Murphy is a Free Agent after this season. He is on a 3 year, 21 million deal
  18. Diggs does go between the numbers too. He does everything.
  19. Beane was dealing from strength. Bills had two 5th's and three 6th's. They still have at least one pick in each round outside the 1st. Overpaid? Nah.
  20. R.I.P. Titans. Tannehill will turn back into the pumpkin he's usually been.
  21. Tomorrow at noon. "Officially." Let's hope an extension or two is part of that plenty (Tre/Dawkins/Milano).
  22. As the team gets better they will be in a position to draft starting talent even if that talent will be part of a committee. Taylor is an awesome player. I think WR is going to be the play though.
  23. It sure would. But I wouldn't be surprised if Lamb was their guy.
  24. I think we're going to see bold swings from Beane. Bills are at the point where it's time to push the chips in. I won't be surprised by a sizable trade up. Agree on Taylor. The guy is versatile and consistently productive for years.
