If it wasn't for health concerns he would be the first. But I agree, he goes 2nd. Herbert is not a better player.

Bucs apparently shopping OJ HOWARD
purple haze replied to Alphadawg7's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
What has he done to make you think he's worth assets? He's been below underwhelming. Now with a QB who loves TE's coming in Tampa is looking to trade him? No thanks. I'd rather let Knox continue to get reps. -
Browns to introduce new uniforms at 12:00 pm
purple haze replied to Royale with Cheese's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I bet the Chargers uniforms will be the best of all the redo's. They already got the colors right. The Rams, I think, will wind up being the worst. That logo is trash. I hope the gradient isn't on the helmet or uniforms but I got bad feeling... -
In the city, on the east side. Jefferson Avenue between Dodge and Best.

Kiper Mock 4.0 - Bills take Okwara at 54
purple haze replied to YoloinOhio's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I don't think the Bills go Edge in round 2. I think there will be better prospects at different positions at pick 54. I believe the pick will be a WR or DB (Look at WRs who played Special Teams in college). I also predict Beane will be making two picks in round 3. This draft will be about quality over quantity. I wouldn't be shocked at only four draftees by the end of the draft. I believe Beane will clean up with UDFA's. Those will make up for the lack of volume in the draft. Beane/McD can legit tell prospects they will get a fair shot in Buff. They've proven that they value production and they don't care where it comes from; more roster spots and practice squad spots going forward as well. -
The Bills playing at the rock was before my time. As a kid, I used to go to some Bison games in the summmertime with my Grandpops. Talk about a no frills building. I loved being in there though. Every color seemed bright: the field, the uniforms. I used to go to church on Southampton Street. Had family on Michigan Ave. I remember when the Bison did something good you could hear the roar of the crowd from blocks away and you know the joint wasn't full. Can only imagine the sound when the Bills were playing.

purple haze replied to Bills fan since 87's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
So would blue. Which has happened in prior years. -
Colts introduce a secondary logo

I'm not talking about the logo, just the numbers. But the logo is supposed to double as a horseshoe. -
Colts introduce a secondary logo
purple haze replied to Royale with Cheese's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I like the numbers. Those are the numbers used by the Colts in their hey day in Baltimore. The Cowboys also used to use a similar font. -

Any chance Trevon Diggs falls to the Bills?
purple haze replied to Lurker's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Sounds like he would be great for McD's zone scheme. -
Understood. Same here in California. Wear a bandana or scarf or some other item. That's what folks have taken to doing out here. It's what's left to do so we do it. And the curve seems to be flattening. Patience and diligence is going to be key. All that said, THANK YOU for helping people. I truly do appreciate that you're doing that.

Fear? You mean realities. The fear your elderly father might have is based in reality. And people in their 20s and 30s and 40s have also died from the virus, It's not just elderly people. You need to wear a mask. You need to wear gloves if possible. You need to avoid large groups. Don't be one of these people that need to learn the hard way. Don't be one of these jokers who come after the fact talking about their "sorry." You know the right thing to do. So do it. You could be asymptomatic and spread the virus without knowing it. The protocols are an attempt to mitigate possiblities.

Being stubborn AF is seemingly American these days. Lacking common sense. Lacking discernment. Lacking discipline. That seems to be what American is. These, in the grand scheme of existence, temporary measures, might keep you or your loved ones in good health or alive. Even more, it might keep your neighbors the same. Folks can go read books; play video games; pray; meditate; exercise. Folks can survive without having to be in large groups for a time.

Interesting Player Starting to Slide

I hear you, but Beane is also drafting for the future, not just this season. I fully expect him to grab a WR in a couple weeks for that reason. Maybe it's 2nd round, maybe not. They need a young edge too. Darryl Johnson is our only young DE prospect. -

Depends on the other options. Over the likes of the Tannehill types? Most definitely. -
I think I might have had the virus in February. All the symptoms people describe: fatigue, chills, fever, super congestion and labored breathing, the WORST cough I've ever had. And it lasted a good 2 weeks. Cough was so bad I couldn't sleep through the night most nights. I thought it was the worst flu ever had or maybe pneumonia. I told my wife I had some type of bionic flu. She wanted to take me to urgent care a couple different times, but I wouldn't go. At the time I had never heard of Coronavirus. Several co-workers had similar experiences before and after me. Of course we all missed a few days of work then dragged our asses back in because no one wants to keep missing work. Dragged being the operative word. Folks should be very careful about rushing to get back to "normal." Reports out of South Korea are stating people who recovered from the virus are beginning to test positive again.

David Carr Criticizes Winston’s workout
purple haze replied to BuffaloBills1998's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Yes, he had 30 INT's last year, but he also threw for 5,000 yards and 30 TD's. People seem to overlook those facts. That's starting talent. Jameis will be somewhere, but he'll have to be a backup for a little while until/if he gets a chance to compete for a starting job, probably with some poor team. -

If Beane truly likes Duggar or Chinn he will go get one of them. -
Tre & Shady talk about the Vontae Davis retirement

Exactly. I was at the game. Bills were missing Taron Johnson, and Phillip Gaines went out in the first quarter. Bailing at halftime isn't cool. -
Nah. And Cooks has concussion concerns too.

Let’s Get it Buffalo by Diggs Himself
purple haze replied to loveorhatembillsfan4life's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Last few years, yes, they had a better offense. In 2020? That's up to Josh Allen. Bills have pieces to dominate offensively IF Allen takes the next step. Can't leave points on the field. Hit those deep throws. I truly hope that KC game, should the season be played, is on Sunday night. -
At least we're not the Falcons

These are better than what they had, which were terrible. That said, these are just less terrible, not good. -
I agree they looked better when worn with the contrast, but the uniforms were too busy in general. Too many colors, too many stripes. I hope they burn the designs. The current uni's can stay. They look like the Bills again. These teams need to stop changing to try to sell more jerseys. If you have a classic Uniform keep it and run. Use 3rd jerseys to appeal to the gamers or the people who need a new Uniform just because it's new.
