  1. Bill O'Brien is a hazard. He needs to be tarred and feathered. Isn't Watson coming up on his big payday soon? O'Brien is going to have a top heavy team. What is wrong with that ownership group letting him continue to make awful decisions?
  2. I think he's going to use those to get back into the end of the 3rd round.
  3. Smoke is a FA after next season. Since this is a deep draft for WR now would be a good time to draft a young WR to develop. Shenault and Pittman play Special Teams. Claypoole as well. So they can help even if they aren't getting a lot of snaps on offense. I expect to see Beane draft one, I just don't know if it would be in round 2.
  4. An obvious top end pass rusher doesn't last to the 2nd round. The Bills could use a young option on the edge, but they have volume to get them through this season. That Buffalo Nickle is a position that hasn't been filled in McD's defense. Don't be surprised if Dugger is the pick. He's versatile as a defender and plays Special Teams. There will be good RBs available with later picks, no need to take one in 2nd if Singletary is truly their guy, which he seems to be. I could see a WR being the pick though, depending. If Pittman or Shenault is there at #54 Beane might jump.
  5. Tua will be drafted before Herbert.
  6. If the Raiders trade a 1st for Ngakoue and pay him after they had a bonafied game wrecker in Khalil Mack, who they would not pay... I don't believe this report. Ngakoue is good. Mack is better. Keep that first and draft an Edge.
  7. Yes. He had 775 yards - and missed 3 games with injury and was intentionally rested a fourth game. That, and he rarely got as many carries as he should during games he played in. All he does is find yards and find them in chunks too. I don't get why you and some others think he can't put up numbers. Health permitting, if they give him the rock he will do what he does. He's also underutilized in the passing game. He doesn't need to be a "homerun hitter" to dominate games or have monster seasons.
  8. That's my prediction. Beane will be making two picks in round 3.
  9. There are other videos in real time of him catching passes and running and lifting weights. I don't know whether he should be signed or not, but I'll give him this: the man has clearly kept himself in condition . The shape he's in takes serious discipline and dedication.
  10. Some of the best money I ever donated.
  11. Jalen Hurts. Kid is a winner. Kid is a leader. He fits the modern NFL. I do not want him in New England.
  12. Herbert. He has physical tools and he's a beheamoth. I went to the Rose Bowl and the kid looked like a lineman. But he will take time I think. If an Andy Reid/Sean Payton type coach took him I'd be concerned. But I don't think Miami has that coach. I think they will take Tua. Injuries are a concern but not his QB polish.
  13. Spain and Feliciano are not yet 30 and still in their primes; offensive linemen tend to play into their 30s anyway. I don't see Beane using #54 on an Interior lineman. He gets IOL as free agents. I could see him take one in the mid-late rounds and definitely as UDFA's. I also agree about Wallace and am still high on him, although CB is a position that will always be a pick of this regime in every draft. The question is where in the draft, but they'll get one. I think they use #54 on a safety who can play big nickel and is versatile enough to play slot CB. Taron and EJ are good players but miss a lot of time. Which Norman are they getting? Outside Tre and Levi, there's a lot of questions at CB and they need to add to the mix in case those questions have negative answers once the season is close. Folks shouldn't sleep on Cam Lewis either. They kept him on practice squad for a reason.
  14. Nice mock, Bandit. I don't see any way Simmons falls that far. That would be insane if it happened. I think the Bucs can get a RB in the 2nd or 3rd. I think their first pick is for sure an OT. They have to keep Brady upright. His "off-schedule" plays will be few and none. A good -- not solid, not okay -- a good or better offensive line is a must.
  15. He hasn't been easily replaced so far. When he misses games the drop off on defense is noticeable. That kid can play. He makes a difference. I bet he gets paid too.
  16. Skins fans didn't care one bit (I was living in DC). They lined the streets for that parade. And I wouldn't care either; if the league establishes and recognizes a season that's all I need. Each team is playing within the same parameters and there will be a winner. It would only matter to individuals who will never be satisfied or Twitter trolls whose team didn't win, who can get in the heads of the never satisfied. I will be celebrating, to hell with the rest.
  17. The Browns did well too.
  18. Royal blue is part of their uniform history. As is Navy. They were trying to honor their entire history while bringing their base colors back to powder blue and gold. I think they look clean.
  19. The Sabres would never be as profitable as the Bills, even if the Bills were terrible and the Sabres champions. The NHL is beloved, but in America, a niche sport, especially compared to football or basketball. On principle, I wouldn't mind seeing the Pegula's sell the Sabres because they don't seem to have a clue how to run them and fans deserve infinitely better. But if they do will the team stay in Buffalo where they belong? It's a terrible situation.
  20. This looks like a Pippen/Krause situation. ?
  21. They need different parts with the white jerseys. The blue pants, striping doesn't blend well. But the Brady era unis were terrible. These are just average. I don't know why they keep resisting going back to red. That's what most of their fans seem to want.
  22. I agree with him about Tannehill. He has never been a difference maker and I think he reverts back to his normal average to below self. Is that good enough? Maybe. If Henry and the defense continue what we saw last year. I think the box gets stacked and teams make Tannehill find Brown or not.
  23. Brady was in the right place at the right time. If not for Mo Lewis he might never have seen the field. He was a game manager for a bit too when he got his shot. He is the GOAT, but I don't know he would have been that elsewhere. And Mahomes wound up with the perfect coach, although he would have flashed anywhere.
