  1. Fromm has been successful and we'll see what he turns into, but I don't think he has Dalton's arm either. I hope he turns into a nice trade chip though.
  2. Probably Calvin Johnson. LoL. Folks focus too much on listed height when they should be focused on play style. Diggs is 6'0", but he plays "big". Steve Smith is 5'9", but he played big too. They go get the rock under any circumstances, coverage be damned. Plenty of 6'2 - 6'4" receivers don't play big. Bills fans have seen our share of that.
  3. The Bills have the players to be optimal. You can add Ruggs and Dobbins and Whoever else. I saw Smoke Brown running free down field in games and being over thrown. I was at the Philly game watching Foster running down field and being over thrown. I saw Allen put the ball on Duke Williams in the end zone in Houston and he didn't catch the rock. I've seen Knox drop passes that would have kept drives alive. Singletary gets chunk yards often. How about they give him more work? Diggs will be open, often, at every level of the field. The Bills have the talent. They need the execution.
  4. Pull up all of the highlights from last year of RB's breaking 50 yard or longer TDs. Pull up all of the highlights of RBs breaking 20-40 yard TDs. There will be more of these runs. Singletary or Moss can score from 40 or in like most backs. Stefon Diggs is your "homerun hitter". So is Smoke. All the Bills need is for Josh to hit the deep ball when the receiver is open and the Bills will score a lot more points. We also need WRs/TEs to catch it when he puts it on them.
  5. See a lot of PAC 12 games. Moss can play. He plays faster than that combine time and he's just as physical as his highlights show. This pick is a winner. ?
  6. The young men don't play track and field. They play football. He's played at a high level throughout his career. We shall see how it goes, but there is no reason to be negative on the pick.
  7. The Bills rotate their D lineman. It's how McD operates. His D-line in Carolina was the same. They are all "rotation" players. And as Beane said, it's not just about the current season, but future seasons.
  8. They'll probably draft one. But the Bills scoring points is directly related to the steps forward #17 takes. If he doesn't leave throws on the field the Bills will score plenty.
  9. This decade-- when Josh hits the deep ball consistently. He left a lot of points on the field last season missing guys who were open down field.
  10. I preferred other players, but I'm cool with the pick. It's never wrong to build up the trenches on either side of the ball. Trent Murphy is on the clock. That joker might get us back into the 3rd round tonight or get us a pick in the 2021 draft.
  11. I would say Chinn or an O lineman. Johnson or Cleveland.
  12. I understand that too. Beane can go many directions. What if he took Jaken Hurts?
  13. I like Neal, but the Bills spent a lot of time on Duggar and some on Jeremy Chinn, so it tells me Neal isn't their guy for that role. Chinn is still available by the way.
  14. Because they don't have a player who can do it consistently. If they did I'd bet it would be a main part of the defense.
  15. Not bad options. I could live with any of those picks.
  16. LoL. True. Although I don't believe Rivers will be 2019 bad again.
  17. Colts are loading up. Damn...
  18. Klein doesn't have to be a starter. If you had a big nickel that would free up Edmunds and Milano to get after the QB more often too. A big nickel, bc that is something that McD seems to be looking for. But that guy doesn't necessarily take the place of Johnson. He would probably be listed as a LB. Johnson would still be on the field.
  19. Disagree. Taron Johnson is good, but unfortunately, gets hurt and misses time. They could look to get competition for his spot, but it wouldn't be based on his talent. It would be based on finding equal talent who can also stay available.
  20. Shaq Thompson is the Carolina version and he is a converted college safety who starts at a LB position. What do you know, the Bills have an open LB spot. I believe the guy would be a LB in name only though. They are really a chess piece.
  21. I agree, but I would look for that deal to get them another pick in the back of the 3rd round as opposed to a deal to move up for a specific player in round 2.
  22. They wouldn't be traditional safeties primarily. They would be a chess piece to move around the defense based on matchups. They would be a LB/Safety/Corner In one player.
  23. The big nickel is the coverage LB or a LB who can drop in coverage and allow Edmunds and Milano to blitz. He's also an in the box safety who can blitz himself. He's also a slot Defender. See Shaq Thompson in Carolina who was a safety in college (he's a starter and a big nickel in Buff would probably be too). He's a Swiss Army knife. Basically, a faster Milano. Sign me up for that if you can find it.
