  1. Cam Newton will wind up in Orchard Park. My prediction. He can "compete" with Barkley for the backup gig. Fromm is a rookie they can bring along slowly and keep as a 3rd QB, especially with expanded rosters. Newton, if healthy, can do the things Allen can do, and keep the train moving if Allen gets hurt. If he's healthy they can flip him for a pick in the off season or just let him walk and hope Fromm is ready to be no. 2.
  2. He was on the field for the Bills moving the ball at will too.
  3. LOVE IT. Smack those jokers around from the jump off.
  4. I hear you. I'm hoping the season starts with, at least, some fans able to attend games. This is the best home schedule the Bills have had in a while. Masks and temperature taking will probably be a must for what good it is. But say a paying customer shows up with a higher than normal temperature, especially if they've been tailgating (drinking) first how will that work not allowing them in? Could be super ugly.
  5. Rest Easy. He was an icon.
  6. I think you will be disappointed. They are bound to get 1 night game at home.
  7. The caveat being "right now, but that can change." Don't leave off the rest of what he said or the context of what he said. He also said Americans didn't have to change behaviors, but that could change depending on the data. That's not all over the place. That's telling people the situation as it was in that moment. Guess what? Things changed so the responses did as well. If you question Dr. Fauci do you question Dr. Birx as well or any of the plethora of doctors/scientists saying the exact same thing about the response to the virus? Obviously, we can't stay home until a vaccine is created, but there can be widespread testing so we know who has the virus or carries the virus. That's something that should be planned for before totally lifting orders. Many of the healthy, under 50 years old people you speak of live, interact and caretake for people who are older or have compromised immune systems. And we don't know who is asymptomatic without the testing. That's a problem because there are folks walking around feeling fine, but have the virus and can pass it to someone else.
  8. Fair enough. I think with Wentz's injury history we will see about Hurts sooner than we will see about Fromm. I hear you, but I'll bet on physical tools in a potential starter. I'm not taking anything away from Fromm; he's a good player and competitor, but he screams game manager back up to me. Hurts, even as he learns, can do more for an offense because he's also mobile. I don't recall that being a significant part of Fromm's game.
  9. Over the production of Alabama Jalen Hurts? Maybe. Over the production of Oklahoma Jalen Hurts? Hell no. Hurts is smart and a leader too. And he's more physically talented than Fromm.
  10. What is brighter about over 1 million people infected and close to 70,000 people, in America alone, dead from the virus? And those being the confirmed cases. If we had broader testing the numbers would likely be higher. Fauci, the man the current administration wants leading the medical response to the virus, has stated if the actions taken look like an overreaction then the measures taken have been working. I know a couple small business owners. I get that people are desperate to return to "normal." Rightfully so. But if one, as an owner, is sick or dead or one's customers are sick or dead how much money is made then? Personally, what I don't want is to have to go through a second shut down in the future because some people want to flaunt the science now. The science. Not media. Not individual reporters. Not politicians. The science -- the medical experts.
  11. One can actually be very bright and not do well, in general, on "tests." One can regurgitate information and do extremely well on tests, standardized or otherwise, and not be all that intelligent, in general. All depends on the people involved.
  12. Biscuit Moulds Ruben Tony Greene Reggie McKenzie Butch Byrd Jerry Butler Kyle Fred Schobel Odomes Charles Romes To me, Biscuit is long overdue. My pop said Byrd should be on the wall.
  13. It's not the sacks in and of themselves. It's the health and missing so much time. Can't get sacks on rehab.
  14. Tre is as good or better than Ramsey. He's getting the top of market when Beane is ready. Dion won't get Tunsil money, but will be well paid.
  15. Certain Bills fans. I liked him. I couldn't pick just one favorite though. Too many good players. And the blondes had a thing for him.
  16. I hope it doesn't come to this. I enjoy college ball. Hell im a football junkie. I might stop and watch a Pop Warner game if I see one while I'm driving by. ??‍♂️
  17. All of this aggravation from some and no one even knows what was discussed on their video conference. They could have been talking about a charitable endeavor, or just a check-in to see if everyone is doing okay, or talking about people who get upset on message boards. LoL. No harm in talking to members of the organization from whatever era for whatever reasons. Where I'm from, "elders" were said to be a resource to possibly increase one's own knowledge. The general American ideal that "old" = valueless or people who should be left behind is perverse; especially seeing as everyone will become an elder... if they're blessed to make it that far.
  18. He could very well be healthy right now. If healthy, he's easily still a starter in the league. The virus and its timing did him no favors. Sitting out might be the play, regardless of health. There will be injuries and bad starting QB play. These GMs will call then. Chicago will be the first team calling. Nick Foles... please. Tannehill? Yeah, ok. ?
  19. I think they're stuck if the NCAA decides on conference schedules only.
  20. Should've put their football team in the ACC on a real basis like the rest of the sports. They get what they get.
  21. Cam is better than Tannehill, Murray, and a good number of other starters. Teams don't know if he's healthy and couldn't find out with current circumstances. Chicago would have been perfect. Trubisky ain't it and Foles isn't either. He's better than Tyrod too. If he's healthy Jacksonville should be on the phone. So should the Raiders. I can't see the Patriots being an option. Outside that, If I'm him, I wait to see who loses a starter to injury or bad play.
  22. Fields is a better pure QB than Braxton Miller. And one game doesn't change that. He's also more physically talented than Fromm and it ain't close.
  23. How many kickers have you scouted compared to Beane and his scouting department? Beane knows where his team plays. I would bet Bass has a big kicking leg.
