  1. Slave owners quoted Jesus too (wrongly). So did preachers from the Jim Crow era. People hiding behind their misuse of scripture is not new. Not that Fromm is doing that, but just for clarifications sake. Fromm got into some hot water. He’s had to face teammates and he stated he’s had some difficult conversations and is starting to see the world in a new perspective. MLJ asking what, then, is his view on current events is legitimate. What Fromm offered in return, is a basic Christian truth, but displays no hint of learning anything from difficult conversations he has supposedly had or what his new perspective might entail. If he truly has a new perspective, what in these conversations he’s had facilitated that? What was his perspective before these conversations? There was a lot to be said. For those who clamor about cancel culture or “the media” meaning (liberal)—conservative media is no different and Fromm might be scared to speak on a new perspective that his base of support might not like; specifically, southern, white, more-Christian-than-thou, super-Patriotic-yet-Confederate flag waver, Fox-OANN types. And others. Or maybe he doesn’t truly have a new perspective. Faith without works is dead. If you provide a scripture don’t stop there. Give us an application of it too. It’s not hard to do. Love God first then love others. Violence, hatred and discrimination toward people based on their skin color or for being who they are, even if I’m not a part of that community, is not God’s intention, it is not of God or Godly. I really don’t want to contribute to that. If anyone hates his brother, but says he loves God he is a liar. For those who hate their brother who they have seen, cannot love God who they have not seen (how bout that part of the scripture?) I am troubled by the racial discord I’ve spoken to my teammates about and I’m searching for a way to make a positive impact in (insert thought here.) How hard is it, really, to say something like that?
  2. I went to the Sunday Ticket website. Once I found out I was eligible for streaming I created my account. Then I went into Roku and downloaded the Sunday ticket website. Once you log in you can stream the games from there. You will also be able to stream the games on your phone if you download the Sunday Ticket app. I suggest doing this. It will pull you through when you have responsibilities that tak you out of the house during game time. Just keep the volume off. ?
  3. Whichever team wins the chip this season should get all the props. This will be be a challenging season and navigating it will take some doing.
  4. They did this a while back. I stream Sunday Ticket through Roku. you can get it if you can’t get Direct TV where you are. That’s the catch.
  5. If Long got injured they’d be on the hook for his money which is the main reason they let him go. They have enough to compete with in practice. If he doesn’t sign elsewhere they can bring him back for cheaper or find another lineman, if need be.
  6. Why wait? They obviously feel that they have cheaper options at the position who will give them the same level of performance. Do Long a solid and let him go now when he can catch on elsewhere.
  7. Save money because the cap will likely be 20 million or so lower next season, and the Bills have Dawkins, Milano and other guys on 1year deals to extend or re-sign. In that scenario you don’t keep a backup offensive lineman at Long’s cap numbers. Or you don’t keep Long for that reason coupled with behind the scenes information we will never know.
  8. Follow the money. Beane just talked about next year’s cap being lower. the Bills have core players to extend and guys who are capable players with less money on the books. It’s business.
  9. He had a 3 game “slump.” Outside that he played well just like his rookie season. I expect he will play well again and we’ll just have to accept it.
  10. I know a few people who went to Frostburg State and a couple played ball there too.
  11. He sat out games in Denver after he played there and almost died afterward. Lost a gall bladder in the process if memory serves. Tomlin would not let him play any games in Denver after that Including a playoff game. Said if Clark was his son he wouldn’t be playing.
  12. That's the thing about it. The Seahawks get a young, proven stud that they can grow with. The Jets got a great haul, but the jury is out on Douglas; having the picks brings hope, but is no guarantee they are used wisely. From reports it seems like the Johnson's put the restrictions on Douglas offering Adams a new deal. What will they put their hands on in the future? Seems the Jets, like the Mets, are hostages to their owners. Lev only has himself to blame. He could have been with a winning organization in Pittsburgh. He felt he was worth more money (And maybe he was). He took a stand. I respect that. But he's talking about Adams when he needs to be talking about Gase. Adams isn't the coach who didn't give him the ball and played other RBs ahead of him without any sane reasoning. He should have tried to get a trade out of there too.
  13. It's almost like there was no history of Gase's grease fire in Miami for the Johnson's to research. The same things that happened with Gase in Miami are happening now. For the Johnson's to hire him, not two weeks after he was fired in Miami, was the height of stupidity.
  14. He did say probably. He did not say there definitely won't be a season. But it is possible there won't be a season. I think it won't start on time in any case.
  15. I'd also like to hear that Beane and McDermott have been extended.
  16. False. I get it, Shaq wasn't as impactful as fans wanted him to be, but he played pretty well in 2018. 2019 was just a continuation. He was okay and they could still do better. Both can be true.
  17. My Pop told me back in the day he saw a guy try to walk into Rich with a sign that said: Even Kaopectate Can't Stop The Juice's Runs. Pop said the sign was taken away by security at the gate.
  18. They aren't changing colors, so the uniforms probably stay the same. They probably already have a logo too. Due to the circumstances surrounding the change I'm sure the league protocols for changing names/logos were relaxed.
  19. That number sounds right. I hate the idea of a tag for either Dawkins or Milano. The uncertainty around next year's cap might be holding things up though.
  20. Nah, the Skins' fans seem to want Redwolves. Wizards fans, of which I'm one, DEFINITELY want the Bullets name to return and put "Wizards" in mothballs. Horrible name change.
  21. You think? I don't know what Beane's appetite is for dishing out new contracts with all of this uncertainty surrounding the season. I would like to see Dawkins and Milano get theirs now so Beane can focus on Tre.
  22. Pigskins. What a football is called. Team has a history of Hogs nickname, can replace the name in the fight song with ease.
  23. Sucks. They have a great home schedule this year.
  24. Or people can declare they're simple minded. L.A. Has a bunch of them throwing tantrums about being asked to where a mask.
