  1. It helps that Tre was okay with being first. He obviously wants to be with the organization.
  2. Once Sunday comes and Singletary starts turning should-have-been-a-tackle-for-loss into 7 Yard runs, and breaking 20, 30 yard runs off tackle folks will remember how they saw this before and be back to saying he will be a breakout star this season. And once Moss gets his chances folks Who didn’t watch Utah will see he is more than a banger, although he does that too. They will notice he makes defenders miss too (not as smoothly at Singletary) and breaks his own 20-30 yard runs. He’s like a Mark Ingram type to me which is pretty damn good. Bills are in good shape at the RB position health permitting. But Singletary will be in there first if I had to bet money.
  3. I think McCarthy is the difference. The Cowboys usually have the talent. I think they needed a different voice in charge.
  4. I think the Bucs defense is going to be pretty good, and they have a lot of weapons on offense. I think it’s a close race, but the Bucs take it.
  5. Tony Gwynn, Rest In Peace. Gone way too soon.
  6. 4/48-50 is the sweet spot. That’s where he belongs. Can he get more on the open market? I’m not so sure.
  7. That was truly a terrible occurrence.
  8. Not sure if rule is the same, but it used to be that a player given an injury settlement could return to the same team 6 weeks after the end of the settlement time. So, say DiMarco was given a three week injury settlement (meaning that the player’s injury was expected to take three weeks to heal), he could re-sign with the Bills after week 9. He’s free to sign with a different team at any time though. Fullbacks being rarely used these days across the league, I’m not sure if there is a market for DiMarco. Later in the season he would theoretically be healthy for a playoff run, with knowledge of the offensive system, and a good addition to the special teams. I’m not sure if the rule is the same though or if it’s been changed due to Covid in some way.
  9. Don’t be surprised if he’s back at some point.
  10. They aren’t gray, they call them ‘Bone’. And for some reason they think they look good. 🙄🤷🏾‍♂️
  11. Well damn. Good if you can get it.
  12. Bills - 34 Jets - 13 this game should not be close. Not even with the raggedy play we’ll probably see. Bills D will have opportunities to create turnovers with that pass rush; especially from the interior D-line. And the Jets have no answer for Diggs. They will wind up having to shadow him with a safety, so, Smoke and Beas should eat well too. If Josh is truly on point, and the Bills avoid turnovers, the game might be a bigger blowout than I anticipate. Would love to see a lot of Barkley handing off to Moss in quarter 4.
  13. I meant the city in general. But in terms of fans what do we call winning over? You think if he were leading the Bills to wins/playoff wins folks wouldn’t accept him? I do. I think there is a greater diversity of Bills fans than you give credit to. Some are just louder about things than others. But as you say, he doesn’t really make sense for them anyway so it’s a moot point. I suspect they will select an athletically gifted QB in the next draft who has greater potential than Barkley, Webb or Fromm.
  14. The ability to make a good decision is an underrated skill. 🤷🏾‍♂️
  15. Buffalo is like most places: a mixture of viewpoints. He’d be fine. He’d take heat if he didn’t play well or win games, same as any other QB.
  16. He was cut because of roster machinations. He was cut because he’s a vested veteran who wouldn’t be exposed to the waiver wire. It was a strategy not an indictment of his skills. McDermott feels Roberts has to be back there returning punts and kickoffs because he’s the guy he keeps putting back there. 🤷🏾‍♂️
  17. He’s back tomorrow. Sorry to disappoint you. 🤷🏾‍♂️
  18. From camp reports he has a lot of work to do just to be a good backup. Slow down on challenging to be a starter. If Allen isn’t the answer you can bet another, more physically gifted QB, will be brought in.
  19. Players going to IR would be lost for the season if placed there before making the initial 53. Once they make the initial 53 they can be placed on IR with the option to return during the season. Roberts and Marlowe are vested vets. They aren’t subject to the waiver wire. So cut them today and have the IR guys on the roster. Bring them back tomorrow after players moved to IR.
  20. It wasn't just one half of football. Seems like a good guy though. McDermott did him no favors.
  21. They could have done it. They obviously are not enamored enough with Clowney to make the investment. But for those who worry about the salary cap, the Saints are an example that teams can sign whomever they want to. The cap is amorphous.
  22. I think that strategy, with past regimes, was maximizing the talent on hand while trying to rebuild on the fly. Beane andMcD were no different their first year. The second year when they took the step back is when they gave in to that rebuild. We're definitely in good shape to have a balanced offense with an impactful passing game.
  23. To each his own. It's nice he enjoys being in the area and comes goes back to visit. Why all the venom?
