  1. This caliber of back is rare... They need not only speed, but vision, elusiveness and balance. And a damn good offensive line. Most backs ain’t breaking 50+ yard TD’s regularly. More backs will break 30 yards and in. Singletary and Moss can do that.
  2. Fumbling is being sloppy. He’s not holding the ball tight enough and he’s not aware of who is around him. Very avoidable. And some of the missed passes didn’t need to happen either; even though he was rolling to his left he could have stopped, set his feet and made that throw to Smoke in the end zone. He got in a hurry and tried to shortcut it. And that lateral can’t happen in a playoff game. Possession is everything in win or go home scenarios so some risks ain’t worth taking. I understand his competitive fire. I love it. But, again, keeping possession is everything in a league where most games come down to a few plays. His last 18 games - 18 fumbles. I like the dude, but this issue hasn’t gone away and it keeps games closer than they need to be.
  3. He’s had issues with turnovers every season. I’m concerned this isn’t something he will get past at this point. And that’s a problem because moving the ball up and down the field is something he’s lead before; then he fumbles away the points the Bills should have, and the game is closer than it should be. But yeah, he has all the intangibles one could want. And his physical ability speaks for itself.
  4. He’s far from that. He doesn’t make Allen turn over the ball or not set his feet and airmail throws that should be completions. And he’s right, good teams will make the Bills pay for those mistakes. The issue is he and many pundits ignore the many good plays he makes with his arm and legs.
  5. Nah. He didn’t complete the pass because he didn’t stop and set his feet. If he did that he would have completed that pass. He got in too much of a hurry.
  6. The way Allen runs having Woods blocking would have him in the end zone even more. Woods is a beast. And he’s a damn good, tough WR too. I’d put him right in the slot and feel good about life.
  7. Allen is sloppy with the rock. People remember things like that. They remember dumb laterals in playoff games. That said, he’s still pretty good and getting better. If he plays well and lessens turnovers the Bills will go far. But he has to stop giving the ball away. They should’ve had 40 something points yesterday. Foxworth is right. Better teams will take advantage of those mistakes.
  8. There are only so many spots. Only 1 kicker on a team. He tried out with the Titans but they took Gostkowski instead. After tonight they might call Haushka back.
  9. Not totally true. He had guys open a few times and just wasn’t accurate with the throw.
  10. And those people are seeing things. Darnold is pretty much the same guy he was when he entered the league.
  11. Wallace had a bad three game stretch last season, but outside that he’s been consistently pretty good. He doesn’t wow people, I get it, but he’s effective. Desir is just ok to me as we will see tomorrow. Depending how season goes Bills might draft a CB high. But if they can’t sign Milano that first pick might be a LB.
  12. Wallace is good. Norman might still pan out. Just has to get healthy.
  13. Defunding as a message has been diluted because different people have different ideas of what that means. From my view it ties into your “training” ideas. Cops are called to deal with issues they might not need to deal with if our country put more money into mental health care facilities and treatment with the personnel that required. Same regarding support of social workers and family dynamics. Put more money into those areas and less into militarizing police forces. All of that money hasn’t necessarily helped police or the public. I’m not one who wants to abolish police. Better vetting of who becomes police officers is a necessity, especially weeding out those with potential biases.
  14. I lived in NYC then. A lot of heroic cops that day. God bless them. However, that doesn’t negate the times I was harassed by NYPD. It doesn’t negate instances of misconduct from bad shootings to penetrating a suspect with a toilet plunger stick while in lock-up. Look up policing in Giuliani’s NYC. Some cops make themselves look bad. And their unions make them look worse fighting against accountability for bad actors. If you love police you should want the bad ones weeded out quickly. The sooner people get over the notion that cops can do no wrong, or that the heroism of some, negates the abusive/deadly actions of others, the better off everyone will be. Bad cops and their unions count on that mindset. Good cops aren’t in the best position to stop bad cops. The pressure has to come from the public. And the public should not give free passes. Police are not a private security force. They are a public entity and should be no less accountable than other public workers, from state and local politicians to public school teachers, etc. That said, there shouldn’t need to be mass protests to get investigations started or to demand accountability.
  15. If they start Ford at OG and he does well, he ain’t moving out of that spot for the foreseeable future, even when Feliciano returns.
  16. They’ll choke you to death, and some cable news outlet will say you got suspended from school for fighting in 8th grade and stole a case of beer in college, then a third of the country will say, “oh, in that case they deserved it then.”
  17. Singletary and Moss can do much of what we saw last night. They’re all similar. Singletary is more slippery. Fast as he may be, Edwards-Helaire’s longest run last night was 27 yards. You’ve seen Motor do that and more last season. Most backs are not making 60-70 yard TD runs on the regular. I don’t get why Bills fans continue to discount him.
  18. What are those particular white people fed up with exactly? Also, the country you went to war for has a racism issue and always has. I hope that's a problem for you too. Just sayin.
  19. True. But Donald Trump is still the president for now and very popular among a certain set. And the cops who killed Breonna Taylor, in her bed, are still walking around free, and paid tribute to by many simply for being officers of the "law."
  20. Watching these QBs and seeing the Lamar Jackson’s and Josh Allen’s, the level of athleticism and arm strength... there cannot still be people Who look at Jake Fromm as a viable starting option if, God forbid, Josh Allen Doesn’t pan out. Beane would go get a modern NFL starting talent. Fromm is there to be a backup type.
  21. Unless Josh, somehow, doesn’t take the next step. Then I can see a QB being that first pick depending who is available.
  22. I am sorry for your loss. My prayers up for you and his family. The love and respect in your post speak very well of who Pete was. May he rest easy.
  23. They can do that after they get a lead. The pass game is the play against that secondary.
  24. They will highlight the intermediate passing game, which the Jets have no answer for. Expect a lot of Diggs, Brown and Beasley; also Swing passes to the RBs. They will mix in the running game, but they won’t focus on the run until the Late 3rd-4th quarter and the game is in hand.
