Ty is 30-something to. He’s not the long term future. I wouldn’t write off Beane bringing Williams back. I think Milano is definitely gone unless he takes 6-7 million per year, multi-year deal or a bit larger 1 year deal to re-set his value. And while the cap will go down, it might not go down to the worst case scenario number that has been talked about.
Trade? Biscuit.
Free Agent? James Lofton or TKO
Honorable mention:
Bryce Paup, Art Still, London Fletcher,
Chris Spielman, Mario Williams, Frank Lewis, Larry Centers
I think they let him walk, unless he takes a smaller monetary figure. He’s good when healthy, but I would rather they re-sign Jon Feliciano and Daryl Williams.
I’ll always take a win, however it comes, but I don’t take moral victories. Win or sit down. However, at the same time, they need to start playing well consistently. That’s the only way they take the next step to being serious contenders for the Chip.
Nah. I hear you, but nah. The Pats game was disappointing. But if they play well and lose Sunday I’ll still be pissed. Time for them to play well and win and do it again next week and the week after that, etc.
I agree with you. I do think we see a trade or two, but for the type of players you described.
My comment was based on the cap being a flexible thing that can be manipulated at a GM’s discretion; it’s not necessarily an impediment to a deal: this off-season there are deals the Bills can get out off to create space. What if Milano is someone they’re willing to let walk? All of that factors in.
I hear this a lot. In the mid-80s with the same red end zones and red helmets they were 2-14 back to back and 4-12 the year after that. Nostalgia can go both ways.
I hear you. But the only benefit is in the execution required. If a team can’t take advantage there was no benefit. But six of one half dozen of the other. Onward.
Their scheme ain’t working, but the players should look in the mirror too. They can’t execute anything consistently. Finger pointing won’t change that.
