  1. Patience. You will probably get your wish for the Pats Monday night game. My favorite look of the modern unis. Throwbacks are the ultimate though.
  2. People will be able to get tickets if they want them. The availability will be there. The cost will be significantly higher though; which is fine by me.
  3. This☝🏾 The Jets have done him no favors, but Darnold has not improved in any discernible way. He was a turnover machine at SC and he still is. He makes some great throws and makes some plays with his legs, but it doesn’t happen at the same rate now because the athleticism in the NFL is too high compared to college. That said, I thought he would be better.
  4. This is often how people get hired/get opportunities in general, let alone in football. It’s a life thing not a Bills thing.
  5. Or Bruce Mathison.
  6. That’s the exact game I want for them. I don’t believe they are a better team. I want the Bills to make the Titans know that the hard way.
  7. Diggs had injury issues at Maryland and often horrible QB play. Still If you’d seen him play during his time with the Terps and even in high school he was most definitely blue chip talent. I’m not surprised to see him do what he’s doing at all. Looks like he always has to me. He always looked like the best or one of the best players on the field.
  8. Tomlin is Underrated and unappreciated. If Steelers fans want him gone, cool. He’ll have another job the next day. They sound spoiled as hell. Under Tomlin’s watch they have never had to watch a below .500 team. They are competitive every season even when there are serious injury issues on the roster. Even when having to trot out Duck Hodge’s and Mason Rudolph. No coach is perfect, but Tomlin is a leader and it comes through when Ben is out and AB was sitting out games and Bell was whining. Imagine having your team at 11-1 and mofo’s are complaining because games are won in a close fashion. Now winning isn’t good enough? Many of the Chiefs wins have been close too. It’s the NFL. There’s a reason most betting lines are under 7 points. Please tell us what good coach doesn’t benefit from having a QB and good drafting? The development is directly related to Tomlin and the staff he employs.
  9. True about the QB and the drafting. And yet they are still competitive. Many of those opt outs were starters for the Pats so I have to believe they would have been helpful. And outside Gilmore and Thuney I’m not sure they have many other big ticket expenditures on their roster. I’m not saying the Patriots will be close to the dominant team of the past 20 years. I’m just saying they will be competitive enough not to be overlooked. The Bills and the Dolphins will need to play to their best level to put them away.
  10. I wouldn’t go that far. The Jets are at the bottom. The Pats have no playmakers on the outside and a leaky offensive line, yet have still won 6 games up to now. Belichick is good at coaching his teams up and remember, all of their numerous opt outs on offense and defense will return next season. The Pats will have to be dealt with as long as Belichick is there.
  11. Yolo, we deserve perfection out of the Horseshoe. Secondary needs to get it together. 🙏🏾🙏🏾🙏🏾
  12. I knew they would rock this garbage combination this week. As long as they win, whatever. But stylistically, I'm not a fan of monochrome uniform combos unless it's all black.
  13. I thought he was fair all in all. Signature wins come in big spots. Sunday night would definitely be a signature win. A good team, with a long pedigree of winning, in a game with high-stakes (playoff position) on the line. Sunday night is basically a playoff game.
  14. If I’m Milano I am not passing up multiple years and guaranteed money to play a “bet on myself” year. Not with how injuries have hit him this season. He has nothing to prove football wise. Can he stay - for what passes in the NFL as healthy - totally healthy? If he did he could get a lot more money. That’s a big if though in the business and realities of football.
  15. Bonds was Hall of Fame level the day he got traded from Pittsburgh. That dude could play. But I understand your sentiment about Hank Aaron’s record. That era of baseball was rife with cheating though. I wouldn’t say Bonds was worse than Arod or Roger Clemens or Rafael Palmeiro or McGuire or Sosa or the dozens of others. It was all bad, but baseball officials liked the results it gave: fans and money.
  16. Apparently, we’re in an era where various uniform combinations are a necessity and cause for social media whining and gnashing of teeth. If the Bills don’t “Now please bring back the red helmets and red end zones!!!” soon the earth might just go up in 🔥 🔥 🔥
  17. The defense. It played well as unit. Specific players: Klein, Hughes. They were noticeable all game. Motor and Moss Bass Andre Roberts
  18. Possible. But he's still a turnover machine and he has been one since USC. I don't know if that will change. He hasn't gotten better at all. And that's not all on the Jets. At a certain point, the off-season work he does has to translate to in-season gains. It could be he's just a middling type of NFL QB. It happens.
  19. I'm not sure what you'd like a RB to do if they get hit in the backfield as soon as they get the ball. Or get to the line and there are three DL waiting on him because of missed blocks or an offensive lineman or TE being bulldozed. There is no RB who would be running well, consistently, behind the Bills O-line as it has performed for most of the season. This ain't Madden where players shake off three and four tackles with a wiggle of a joystick.
  20. Herbert was out of the pocket. Had he been in the pocket that would have been a Personal Foul on White.
  21. I don’t think he’s necessarily regressed. He’s just never ascended. He’s the same as he was at USC: well-liked, mobile, a gamer, makes some really high-end throws, but is a turnover machine. In college a player can be an All-American with those traits. The talent inequities allow those turnovers to have less dire results at times. Not in the NFL though. And there’s no question the organization in New Jersey has done him a disservice. But if he eventually winds up elsewhere I would bet we see the same guy, albeit with a bit more success, depending on the coaching/talent. I don’t think he’ll ever be a lead dog type QB -meaning he’s carrying his team. Maybe he’ll be a Tannehill type.
  22. More talented in what way? As physically talented? Yes. As good? Not yet.
  23. Soccer will probably be more popular than it is now by 2030 because it’s consistently on TV as opposed to its past coverage. It will not be on the same level as the NBA though. The NBA are the best players in the world. MLS is not. And hockey is not even in the discussion. That’s a niche sport in the U.S. and there is nothing about it that would attract a casual observer. The NBA is expanding to China because there is money to be made. The NBA game is internationally popular and star NBA players are some of the most recognized brands in the world. If Connor McDavid walked down a street in China, Barcelona, Brazil or Nigeria I would bet 99-100% of people would not know who he is. Or Sidney Crosby. Or Jack Eichel. This TV ratings argument is overblown. I believe ratings were down across all sports.
  24. At the same time, situations are different. Was Andy Reid on McDermott’s staff? Did the Bills have the same offensive pieces? Mahomes is great in KC. Doesn’t mean the Bills situation would have led to the same success at an early stage of his career.
  25. Do we know the severity of the injury?
