  1. Not interested in negotiating for the Ravens. I’m sure there were multiple teams interested if they thought the Ravens wouldn’t match.
  2. Yeah, it is. But if he stays healthy he will help them win. That’s what it’s about.
  3. The renegotiation will happen before his deal expires.
  4. Some teams don’t mind having multiple difference makers. And they are two different types of receivers.
  5. If they believe in Davis they should extend him now. Wait until next off-season and the cost might be more than Beane chooses to afford. If they trade Davis in a theoretical deal for Hopkins they can still draft a WR early and Shakir is still there too (I don’t know why folks overlook him.)
  6. Giants need a WR too. I think they would need to jump them and the Cowboys too.
  7. I think Darnell Washington might be a TE they would take. He is massive, can block and has good athleticism and growing receiving skills. Beane might look at him as a two in one.
  8. Outside the year he took Allen Beane doesn’t give much away. He does seem to value Senior Bowl participants and uses his 30 visits for players he would draft as opposed to smokescreens. I agree there’s no telling what direction he’ll go or position he’ll take. That’s a good thing.
  9. If what Bucky says is accurate other teams might see the same thing. So who would Beane be trading with? What are they coming up for? I would like a trade back to to get extra picks. The caveat is who are those 15 players Bucky references? Can they get one at 27? Can they move up to 20-21 and grab one?
  10. Black has always been a complimentary color in their color scheme. No black on those terrible red unis or the white. Seems gray has replaced it. Black unis are yawn these days bc everyone wants one for some reason.
  11. I guarantee the good looking women you reference already do that. He doesn’t need to be single. No holds barred when fame and money enter the building.
  12. Johnston is taller and talented but he doesn’t play particularly big at this point. I think Flowers is a better player. That’s why I say don’t get caught up in measurables; measureables provide facts but leave out the context. Yes on Evans or Hopkins. If you want WRs who play big that’s the outcome you want.
  13. The Jets need Rodgers more than the Packers need to get rid of him. If the Jets keep bulldiddin’ when draft day rolls around some team might decide Rodgers for a year or two is worth a trade. Then the Jets will be back in that Zach Wilson business and that business in bankrupt.
  14. Diggs also had to play with multiple QBs. At one point due to injuries to the top 3 QBs on the depth chart the Terrapins had to play a LB at the QB position. For real. He was a high school QB that had been converted to LB. it was crazy. But when he was healthy, in spite of the QB issues, Diggs still looked like Diggs. Same dude we see now in terms of play style, emotion and effectiveness. It was obvious he was a pro early on.
  15. You mentioned size not speed. That said, Addison gets off the line well and runs great routes. Very good runner after the catch too. Those things translate. Lot of speed demons get to the league and can’t do anything but run straight ahead so don’t oversell that aspect. And Addison isn’t slow. He wins doing what WR’s do. Creates separation with his precision, agility and speed. He plays inside and outside. He does need to get stronger, but that’s what the strength and conditioning coaches are for. That can be gained. Smith-Njigba is my favorite receiver but if the Bills wound up with Addison he’d do well for them.
  16. McKenzie, Crowder, Beasley and Brown are gone. They have Deonte Harty. Everyone else is 6’0 or taller. Flowers, along with Harty would be the most explosive of all them once he walked into the building. Don’t worry about size. Worry about production . Yards after catch would be a definite thing with him. Isn’t that what Beane/McD say they want?
  17. Like DeSean Jackson or Devante Smith? They’re slender too. Addison is going be open a lot the way he runs routes.
  18. They bring 90 to camp. Signing him would be signing a productive, physical, veteran player. They could still draft a guy in the mid-later rounds. Beane and McDermott are all about competition.
  19. I sure do. I found parking on the street when I went to Bills/Rams in September. I’d rather walk a bit than blow a $100 to be hemmed in after the game. Went to Bills/Rams at the Coliseum when Rex was coach. Spent $300 or so to sit 12 rows up, behind the Bills bench at the 40 yard line. At SoFi I spent almost $700 to sit 11 rows up in the end zone. That’s showbiz.
  20. Ticket prices went up in LA when SoFi stadium was completed, taxes ain’t cheap here either, etc. it is what is. Unlike taxes you don’t have to pay for tickets. If the stadium isn’t to your liking or the ticket prices aren’t to your liking don’t go to the games. Easy solution.
  21. He looks the same to me.
  22. That is definitely a reasonable way to look at it. I’m not thinking they can get a first or a second for him. Potentially a third. But I’m thinking of him as part of a trade Moreso than a one for one - Oliver for a pick. Perhaps Oliver and a day 3 pick to move up in the first round or Oliver in a trade package for another player. I like Oliver. He’s a player if they brought him back I would be cool with it but if they traded him i’m cool with that too. I think keeping him in the off chance he shows out and signs a big deal elsewhere and we get a comp pick is a gamble I don’t know that we should take.
  23. It’s common sense. If they aren’t going to pay him because he wants more than the team values him at, get something for him now. Draft time is the perfect time; before other teams fill needs.
  24. I think the OL is a work in progress. It could be much better by September. We’ll see. I think if they were to draft Robinson he’s getting more than 15 touches. He’ll get 15 carries and catch some passes. They wouldn’t be drafting him to bring him along slowly. He doesn’t need physical development like James Cook did. He’s ready day 1. And even if the Bills want to stay pass heavy, Robinson fits into that very well too. The Bills need elite playmakers on offense, outside Allen and Diggs. Robinson is that, position and draft Twitter be damned. There’s not a WR or TE in the draft better at their position than Robinson is at his his and there are some very good players available at those positions. All that said I’m not counting on him being there at 27 or near enough to trade up for. I think Beane trades down, if possible, and picks up an extra 2 or 3. I wouldn’t be shocked to see Oliver get moved either.
