  1. Biggest game Bills ever lost? Super Bowl 25. White on white. Most infamous Bills loss, music city miracle? White on white. 3 Super Bowl losses? Blue over white. Uniforms don’t trim execution or bad refereeing.
  2. If Bills win and Both the Raiders and Chargers lose, I believe Bills can get in that way too if Ravens happen to win.
  3. Man don’t depress me like that. That’s the hard truth you speak.
  4. But did he get to break off a piece of Oplatek and share his wishes for their new year? It’s nice they gave him a place to eat and be merry.
  5. Have to beat good teams to ultimately get the trophy. Why not beat the ones who got over on you? I want messages sent and dominance established by the Bills. They’re top dogs. Colts, Titans, Chiefs are my preferred matchups. Leave no doubts.
  6. You aren’t the only one. I want them to play the Titans again too.
  7. Oh, no, there is definitely a Boston accent. I know people who have one. It’s not as drastic as this caller though. I think he was a fugazi Bostonite.
  8. Because Beasley costs more and they need money to improve other areas of the team they aren’t as strong in or to extend players that are part of their nucleus for the next few years. McKenzie is younger, faster and won’t cost near as much. It ain’t personal.
  9. I hope not. It’s balls-to -the-wall time. They have to have this game.
  10. Safeties back up, run crossing routes with Diggs, Sanders and McKenzie behind the LB’s. If the backers get good depth, screen game the hell out of them with Motor, Breida or Knox. They can also run Bootleg action with Allen right. Line up Stevenson, Diggs and Knox opposite side. Knox runs a crosser right to try to draw the safety up. Diggs runs a post-corner; Stevenson runs a post. Puts safety on that side in distress. The bootleg action will make those LB’s bite because Allen could run. Someone is open. Allen just has to hit it. All types of ways to still win this chess match and the division. Missing certain players is not optimal, but winning is far from impossible.
  11. Stevenson’s speed can help too. Back those safeties up.
  12. These aren’t official. Who knows where they came from. They look somewhat similar to the hypothetical design for downtown.
  13. Sure the weather can impact parts of the game. The team that executes best under the circumstances will win just as they would under “perfect” conditions. Weather doesn’t favor either team. The weather is the same for both. Go win the game.
  14. I’m saying the weather issue is an issue for fewer people than social media makes it seem. Part 2 was just an observation meant for those who cite lack of ideal weather conditions for the Bills not functioning properly.
  15. No, I don’t see an issue. Many tickets have been sold from the team to ticket brokers at full price already. PS&E made their money. What people pay a ticket broker on a he secondary market is irrelevant in that case. You say under 50,000? Maybe. But that hasn’t happened. You disagree with me. That’s fine. The proof is in the building that was proposed. No roof. PS&E did studies, surveys, etc. The people who own the business don’t seem overly concerned about what you’re talking about either. 🤷🏾‍♂️
  16. More people show up than don’t. Many more people actually. If folks don’t like the elements I get it. Nothing wrong with them watching from home. But let’s not act like it’s a majority of fans. It’s not. Stadium is mostly full even in bad weather. If the Bills get bad then late season attendance would be a different story. Bills didn’t lose because of the Patriots game plan. D gave up 14 points. Offense didn’t execute in the red zone on multiple occasions. If the offense pulled their weight they win easily.
  17. The random elements have always been part of the game and any game that has ever been played boils down to execution. Period. The Bills had multiple drives into the red zone against New England. They scored 1 TD. That ain’t have a thing to do with the weather. Weather wasn’t bad enough to keep them from getting down there. Full comfort and control is a red herring. How do you explain 6 points in Jacksonville? 3 points in Tampa after one half? Perfect weather didn’t help did it? The Colts beat their tails. Played in the same elements. The Colts executed better.
  18. The NFL is indeed greedy. But a smaller capacity stadium will alleviate attendance issues. I’d say PS&E proposed 60-62,000 for just that reason. NFL makes the real money on those TV packages. The in-game experience takes a backseat to that. And I don’t see any attendance issues at a capacity of 60-62,000. I was responding to those who say the Bills don’t always sellout in December/January due to the weather or tickets are sold at marked down prices because of weather. There’s no tangible issue that I know of.
  19. The NFL is a TV product these days and probably moving forward. Fan attendance is not as important as TV viewership numbers. That’s how the NFL makes the mint they do; TV packages from the networks. In that context, smaller capacity stadiums make sense. Less issues with ticket sales and more viewers at home. Bills would easily sellout 60-62,000 seats even with the vocal minority who complain about the weather and say they won’t attend because of it. Even without selling out the stadium some December/January games the stadium still has 65,000 or more fans at the game.
  20. There’s more in OP now than when the Bills first started playing there; which says it all. At least there’s that strip mall out there now. It looks like a suburb. When I was a kid it seemed more rural than suburban.
  21. I keep hearing about all these people who don’t show up to these cold weather games. There were over 65,000 people who did show up on Sunday and sit out in the cold. Over 69,000 showed up for the Monday night game a couple weeks ago. New stadium will seat between 60,000-62,000 according to reports. The people who don’t like the cold won’t have to worry about going. Enjoy the game on your couch. Nothing wrong with that at all.
  22. The Raiders playoff game that was below zero had 61,000 people there. That would be a sellout at the new stadium.
  23. True. But in saying that, let’s not act like the stadium wasn’t mostly full. 80,000 capacity and about 75,000 people there. if stadium is 60-62,000 as proposed that probably won’t be an issue.
  24. There are maintenance costs associated with opening and closing the roof. It’s why you see teams with retractable roofs rarely to never have them open.
  25. PS&E knows what the market can and can’t do. They’ve talked about their potential PSL’s not being the same as one would find in cities like NY or LA. I think general ticket prices going up will be of more concern for some fans. And some fans who will complain about being priced out are the same ones arguing for a roof on the stadium that will add cost to construction that would raise ticket prices even more. Make it make sense. There’s a reason why PS&E are trying to ride the line between a new, modern building and the cost of building one.
