  1. She was speaking specifically about season ticket holders of the two teams; they don’t see a lot of crossover between them. That was the context behind her comments. Any fool knows both teams share fans in general.
  2. ESPN reporter stated that’s what some around the combine are thinking. Brown just added his opinion about that observation.
  3. Terrible speculation. If the Bills did make a “splash” I believe it would be for football reasons. To link it to the public bill for the stadium makes no sense. State residents outside Western NY get no benefit from a splash signing and they’re kicking in on that stadium too.
  4. He’s still getting paid to play so he doesn’t have an issue if that’s his objective. You on the other hand - what’s your issue?
  5. He said he anticipated Beasely would be back. But like I said at the time, anticipate and will are two different words. Beasely leaving was probable given age, contract and cap issues. If Beane were telling the whole truth he would have said he anticipated Beasely being back if he takes a pay cut.
  6. Me neither. If they went DT I wouldn’t be surprised either. They can go many directions. Once free agency starts and we see who they bring in I can make a more educated guess. If they go vet FA at WR or CB I wouldn’t count on one at 25 since the draft is deep with those positions. He’s my favorite, but for this poll I didn’t choose him because he’ll be long gone by pick 25.
  7. Ohio State is always loaded. Joe Burrow had to leave too. Quinn Ewers just left. Alabama is always loaded and he broke through there. He can play. I think the draft is deep at CB too. So it comes down to who Beane thinks is the greater value at 25. Williamson wouldn’t be near 25 if he hadn’t been injured and he still might go before then. Can Beane ignore that? Is Gordon/McCreary/Booth the same potential at their position as Williamson is at his? I’m looking forward to April. Bills are in a great spot. If they go WR at 25 I chose Williams but I could see Dotson being the guy too.
  8. That’s assuming only one team wants him. I’m sure there’s a few teams who could use him. In that case one of those teams tries to trade for him to make sure they get him. Depends how badly those teams want him. Maybe they’re willing to let him get released and try to outbid the other teams. We’ll see soon enough.
  9. I hear you. I think a team needs to get the best players they can. Sometimes that player might have a history. Factors have to be weighed: did they make a one time mistake or have they been consistently in trouble? Have they taken steps to change and demonstrated those changes? No different than in the world in general. The Bills just hired Kromer to coach O-line. He was one of the best coaches available. Yet, he has a history. But no trouble, that we know of, since then.
  10. They haven’t given a second chance to a player that you know of. Odds are they have though with as many players as they’ve had through OBD over 5 years. And they just hired an Offensive Line coach with an incident in his past of hitting a minor over some beach chairs. Like I said, sometimes people make a mistake. Doesn’t mean that mistake is a normal part of their life. In Hunt’s case he’s already gotten his second chance with the Browns and been fine as far as anyone knows. The Bills wouldn’t be giving him anything but another opportunity to play ball. However, I don’t think he brings what they truly need from an on-field perspective.
  11. You don’t know any of these players to say who is what. You have no idea. Because you don’t know about it doesn’t mean a player hasn’t been involved in something shady all the while you hold them up as a pillar of the community. The other side of that is an otherwise decent person can do bad things; happens everyday. Sometimes people need a chance at redemption.
  12. If they thought Hunt would help them win they sure would. Hunt’s incident was years ago. He hasn’t been in trouble since. People make mistakes. He’s done well with his second chance. That said, Bills need a speed element. Hunt doesn’t fit that profile.
  13. Under no circumstances. Yuck.
  14. They should leave Buck right where he is. Get a play by play man who has some energy without; and isn’t so sanctimonious.
  15. I like the Blue pants. I hated the red helmets at first, but I grew to like them. The red jerseys? Never!
  16. O, D, ST Starters who arrived via FA or trade: Hyde Poyer Diggs Beasley Sanders Morse Williams Hughes Addison Star Matekevich Jones O, D, ST Starters who were drafted or college FA: Allen Davis Knox Singletary Dawkins Brown Rousseau Milano Edmunds Oliver Phillips White Wallace Johnson Neal J. Johnson Looks like a mix to me. Neal earned his. Maximum value of 10 million over 3 years doesn’t mean his year to year money/cap is that much. Beane and McD preach a complete team philosophy. Their best ST player got a fair deal. Players notice if the talk is backed up by actions. That keeps your own players working hard and helps when it comes to the outside free agents you want them to get. The best Recruiting tool for any business are sincerely happy employees.
  17. No way he’s there when Bills pick. But if he were that’s a no brainer.
  18. LoL. No such thing.
  19. No such thing as a jinx. They just lost wearing all white. They lost SupervBowl XXV wearing all white. Music City Miracle - all white. I could name other playoff losses too. But Blue pants... Come on now.
  20. I think your light on the prime time games. Josh Allen has taken the next step in public/media attention. He’s considered one of the best and most entertaining players in the league. And the team is good too. I believe the Bills will get 4 or 5 night games.
  21. They play 3 games on Thanksgiving now. Bills could host the 8 pm game like the Saints hosted it last year.
  22. When the Bills win that chip I’m on the red eye out of California that same night. I don’t smoke but I’ll be handing out cigars like I just had a baby.
  23. Still probably the cheapest tickets in the NFL or close to it. You had to know prices were going up eventually. All in all Bills fans have it great.
  24. Not losing interest at all. Although the NFL needs to invest some of those profits in full-time referees. And speed up the pace of the games.
