  1. I hear you, but don't let Fitz off that easy. He can be very inaccurate. Those 7th rd WR's and UDFA's are open some times too and he doesn't hit them. I like Fitz a lot, but it's a two way street.
  2. Saying a prayer for you. Get well soon, T.
  3. He most definitely has LT athleticism. It's his biggest strength.
  4. Would love to see the Bills pick Russell Wilson. He's got a strong arm, good accuracy, ability to buy time in the pocket or move the chains with his feet. Beyond all of that the guy has shown he has a great attitude and is a winner. That's the type of players every team needs. If QB doesn't work out they could always try him at a different position. His father was a WR at Dartmouth and drafted by the Chargers back in the day. He was the last cut in '80 or '81 I believe it was. Don Coryell said it was one of his biggest regrets cutting him. 4th round or lower it's a no brainer pick to me. Especially since the BIlls have two 4th and 5th's this draft.
  5. It is two first rounders. They are swapping firsts with the Rams in April and that's counted as one of the "3" first round picks. Really they are giving up a 2nd and two 1sts. You would? Why? I wouldn't. He's a good player though, but he doesn't bring close to RIII"s athleticism. RGIII has a stronger arm. Luck and Barkley I could see being a choice. Those two are very similar. But I think Luck is a better athlete.
  6. No he doesn't. Where do you get that from? On a side note, Carl Nix is my sleeper pick for the Bills.
  7. Not a rumor. Stevie said they would rock blue pants this year during an interview.
  8. You aren't very acquainted with Morrison's career? He's a very good player. He signed late last year, started off behind the curve. This year I think we will see the Morrison of past years. Very productive in the run game and a good leader. Won't be surprised to see hims start. At least play run downs.
  9. Roscoe had the more proven track record against bigger competition. Nothing wrong with taking him. Every team could play 20/20 hindsight about picks they did or didn't make compared to other teams.
  10. He's okay. It would be good to have him back, but it's not like he is an elite TE. And truth is, in Gailey's system they use Nelson like a TE. With his spread sets and the way he uses the RB's in the passing game I don't think a TE will ever be big part of Gailey's offense. If they pay big money for a TE they should be paying for a better physical talent than Chandler.
  11. If Richardson is there definitely. If Coples is there maybe.
  12. It's not about elite athletes. It's about elite football players. If you can get both, great. But this ain't the Olympics. Claiborne is a gifted CB; an elite cover man. A very good athlete in his own right. Peterson is the better athlete. Claiborne might be the better CB. If he's there at 10 the Bills better take him. He's the best at his position and the Bills could use a guy with Claiborne's cover AND ball skills. There are pass rushers that can be had in round two. A pass rusher doesn't have to come with the 10th pick. All that said, Claiborne is probably gone by pick 5 to Tampa Bay. Because he's an elite football player.
  13. Doubt you would get an extra first for a trade up from 17 to 10. More likely a second rounder. Which I would do in a heart beat if I'm Nix. An extra second in this draft is golden. There will probably be better "value" pass rushers there.
  14. Really? First off, RGIII, I believe, will be a great player. But to trade up will cost a ransom and the Bills have to get their defense together. They are not in the position to give up multiple picks in this draft and next year's. They can win with Fitz. No, he won't be elite more than likely, but he's good enough to win with. Think if the Bills defense was actually consistently good this season; the Bills could have gone to the playoffs. Fitz wasn't the reason they lost most games. As far as Morris Claiborne, if the Bills took him be happy. He's a stud, lock down CB. He more than likely will be gone by the time the Bills pick, for good reason, so don't worry about it. There are pass rushers available in round two who can come in and help.
  15. No way. He'll be taken by the end of the second round. He can play. It's not his fault GT runs that triple option foolishness. When they throw him the ball he catches it and usually for a big play.
  16. A lot of the players are drug risks if you count weed or alcohol as drugs. He was just dumb enough to get caught. But he's not the only one bakin'.
  17. Every team has a "go to" guy. So there are 32 number one receivers in the league. Every team lines up two WR's. A good number line up 3 WR's to start the game. So there are between 64 - and say 80 "starting" WR's in the league. Stevie is 17th amongst that group and in the middle of the pack of number one's. So yeah, he should be paid like a number one receiver. The question you really seem to be asking is should he be paid like an elite number one WR. The answer to that is in how Nix and Gailey view his upside. If they believe he will take another step in his development then yes. If they believe he's a very good player and that's all he will ever be then no. But he should be making the going rate for number one WR's in general. That's just the cost of doing business. They will have to pay someone at some point. Especially if they let him walk. If they don't pay him there is no guarantee they get Jackson, Bowe or Colston or anyone else even if they offer the most money. And that's assuming those players aren't tagged or sign long term deals before the become FA's. One can argue Stevie's numbers would have been better if he had been healthier and Fitz accuracy issues didn't rear its ugly head from time to time. This isn't a Poz situation. He was not a guy who was an impact player. Stevie is at times, but can he be all the time? We will see what the FO thinks soon enough.
  18. They need CB's too. If the CB at 10 is a better overall talent than a DE/OLB left at 10 they should take the CB. There is more than one round in the draft to get players.
  19. No big deal. EVERYBODY on the team wants to be the starter at their position.
  20. If Coples and Ingram are there at 10, the Bills will have that card in the commissioners hand quicker than they did for Dareus and take Coples. There are other athletic OLB's to be had in round 2. I like Ingram a lot though. But if Coples is gone, which I believe he will be, and Ingram and Upshaw are available I think the Bills would take Upshaw. I think Ingram would be their 3rd choice.
  21. Nix will still draft a CB or two regardless. Remember they have two 4ths and either two 5ths or 6ths depending on how the Lynch deal ultimately shakes out.
  22. Why not? They need a couple without question.
  23. In truth that's all 98% players playmaking ability is limited to. Matchups. Outside the Barry Sanders of the world who are very rare.
  24. As never been drafted's you all suck. LoL
  25. He could come back and play the slot position Roscoe will probably be vacating. Not as a number two. A number 3? Yeah, Evans could do that.
