  1. Merry Christmas to all and their families.
  2. I agree. Which is why I don't want Polian around. I think all of these "leaks" are coming from him or people close to him with their own agenda. If it really is coming from inside the building the Pegula's need to run a sting operation and get to the bottom of who it is. This is the second year in a row we hear about issues between management and coaches.
  3. They most definitely can win with Tyrod. I don't think it requires 6 or 7 pro bowlers either; it would take a dominant offensive line. Tyrod, also, would need to continue to improve. I do agree that the Bills should still be drafting a QB to develop behind him. I don't think the offense was the main issue this season. This season was about the defense. And that is Rex. I would get rid of him because I don't trust his judgement; i.e. I don't think he is willing to change. He is too stubborn.
  4. Pegula's need to make a decision sooner than later. I wouldn't want to see Whaley replaced. But if they did, Chris Polian is not who I would go out and get. In fact, I don't know who, outside of DeCosta in Baltimore, would be any better than Whaley.
  5. If the Pegula's want a football czar then they need to go on and let Whaley go. I don't see how adding a person over Whaley will enhance communication or cohesion. If it is known that Roman wanted Cassell over EJ then Roman is a crazy. Cassell showed what he was in Dallas. EJ isn't great either, but at least he can run around more than Cassell. That said, Polian is right, EJ needs to go. I don't think he's saying anything Whaley and scouts don't already know however. I hate the idea of firing a coach after one year, but Rex willl not mesh his scheme with the available personnel. I wouldn't mind if he was shown the door.
  6. Why is it amateur hour? It's not their business to tell. It's up to Glenn if he wants the information released. That said, I'm shocked he's cleared to play football with one kidney. I wonder if he had a transplant as part of the process of his kidney being removed.
  7. Mario is outta there regardless. Might as well speak his piece.
  8. I don't think season long captains are all that meaningful. Many on the board reference the length of our current playoff drought; we've had season long captains most of those seasons. We still haven't made the playoffs. Fred and Kyle were, and are obvious leaders. We still did not make the playoffs under their captaincy. What matters is performance. Players know who is who inside the locker room. Who goes out for the coin toss isn't going to make a difference.
  9. Are you trying to be funny or are you just that ignorant? Either way you can stop the foolishness now.
  10. Thurman has been with Rex as long if not longer than Pettine was. He's not going anywhere. Our best hope of change is on the player side. I would leave Kyle alone, but Mario, I agree, is about to be out the door. I like him, but I don't think he fits what Rex wants to do, and a re-structure won't change that. Rex is too hard-headed to change his system. Bradham, Mario are definitely gone I believe.
  11. If many of them don't fit the scheme they have to be replaced anyway. Rex is not going to adjust his scheme to what's on hand so they will have to find players who fit better than what we have.
  12. I think we're stuck with Rex. If this season doesn't cause him to look in the mirror and change some things nothing will.
  13. Problem is Aaron Williams' future is uncertain. Corey Graham is making 4 mil. Bills need to get another safety in the building. I like Rambo though.
  14. The Bills are not a good team. That's the problem. They are average to below average. So are the Eagles.
  15.     It's not about his brother-in-law so much as it's about his wife. That's his wife's brother. If she is in a state of grief that requires Cutler's attention he will most definitely miss that game. Depends on where his wife is emotionally.
  16. He did look good when he played. I believe Mills also can play OG. Seeing as how Miller is out, if Urbik/Incognito went down the Bills would be stuck. Kujo and Henderson only play OT.
  17. The Bills got out-coached. The defense was garbage. Again. And offensively, I still cannot understand how Watkins gets one target in the second half. That's borderline incompetent. I don't know what else that kid has to do to prove that good things happen when he gets targets. Robey should have picked off that screen pass too. I don't know why he held up.
  18. You can always count on Hughes to "check in".
  19. That would be drastic, but I can't say I would be upset with it.
  20.   & Why not both? Draft one and bring one in?
  21. That would be beyond awful. Makes my stomach turn even thinking about it. SMDH
  22. It's not about jumping ship. He's got a lot of talent and potential. But it has to translate. The Pats are the best team because teams make too many mistakes and they captialize whereas their opponents don't. Tyrod has far too many three and outs on his watch. I like him. But we still need to bring in more competition. If he's the man, he will rise above like he did this past summer. Bottom line is the Bills are still not playing well enough, consistently enough on offense. The o-line also needs more competition brought in. 5-5 is not good enough.
