  1. Salas' potential is waiver wire if the Bills have a healthy receiving corp. I'm glad he played well today though and appreciate his efforts.
  2. Stop. Drop. And Roll. Idiot...
  3. There are no meaningless games for the men playing the game. They play for jobs/money if not pride. If someone on the team felt the way you do they would be a loser who needs to be out the door.
  4. Yep. Fans are the same wherever you go for the most part.
  5. I'm so glad the Bills won just for that reason. Jets fans misery makes my sunshine warm. Ha! That said, Bowles has been a good coach for them. Not his fault Fitz turned back into the same pumpkin we saw him turn into in many close games. I greatly admire Fitz, but as Bart Scott would say re Fitz and his turnovers: "That train is never late."
  6. I'm glad they won and did not quit. However, I wouldn't go that far about Rex. He has a lot to prove next season. Overall team discipline and defensive production need to be infinitely better next season.
  7. There is no world that exists where I'm worried about Doug Marrone. He's a decent coach. This would bring back the Dolphins rivalry to full blast. That said, I don't buy Marrone to Miami.
  8. O_o Better than Cam? That's not even worth commentary. Tannehill is very mediocre, which is not a good look for a guy who has been on the field playing since he was drafted. He is not getting better and the Dolphins results have not gotten better either. He is not the only reason they are on hard times (Management, coaching and defensive lapses) but he is a big reason. He does not inspire the players around him or the fan base. Miko Grimes is entitled to her opinion, but she does herself and her husband no favors with these twitter rants.
  9. I agree with that definition. But by our definition, that would guy plays for about four or five teams in the NFL and everyone else should be looking for one. But in the mean time a team has to find a guy who trends in that direction or is good enough to win with even though he has flaws. I think we're in pretty good shape with Tyrod. Next season is when we will see exactly what he will be. If he builds on what he did this year, improving in certain areas, while still displaying the strengths we saw this season, we have our guy. But even if he is we should still bring in QB's every year to develop.
  10. This is a consistent thing the Bills do, throwing deep on third and short. That tells me it is coaching preference as opposed to Tyrod always making that choice on his own.
  11. You raise some good points. I don't think Tyrod runs as much as he could or should. It looks to me that he tries to stay in the pocket, even turning down running opportunities, when it's clear he could run. The Philly game was a really good example of this. I think he's out to prove he can be a "pocket" passer; I believe he can be that as well, but his ability to run is unique amongst the majority of QB's in the league and is a weapon that fans and media should not try to over analyze him out of doing. I think the #2 WR can be Woods as Tyrod develops. To me, Sammy has proven to be a guy who can be doubled and still make an impact. I don't believe Roman/Tyrod utilize him enough, even as dominant as he has been over the past seven weeks. I don't want to get a guy who will distract from getting Sammy the rock. Woods showed up big in Philly and when EJ was the QB, we saw him flash a lot because they had chemistry. I think Tyrod can develop that with Woods. Now if a Megatron type talent was available for example, then yeah, they should do that. I think the WR positions the Bills need to focus on in 2016 are the 3-6 spots. Easley is hurt, Hogan is unreliable and Flash can't stay healthy. Why Hogan was targeted for that pass before the end of the half in the end zone and not 6'4 Dez Lewis is beyond me...
  12. Dennis Thurman is a D-Coordinator in name only. He's more of a consultant, but this is Rex's defense, simple and plain. He has single handedly screwed up this defense.
  13. If Bills improve it might not be so tough. Who knows? And that St. Louis game might be in L.A.
  14. Bills were playing a gang of second stringers too.
  15. He was talking about the 2004 Bills w/Drew Bledsoe. Not this season.
  16. As my cousin texted after the pick: "Tyrod must have Hogan on his fantasy team. Why does he keep throwing to that scrub?" Isn't Dez Lewis active today, and 6'4??
  17. Odds throwing over the middle are less. A lot of traffic in there. It was a bad throw, but throwing outside isn't a bad move in general.
  18. He was on the practice squad.
  19. Could have ran that play on 3rd down. But that said, if Hogan catches it, it works.
  20. After 16 years people have to find a reason. I think Whaley is not the right choice though. Whaley did not sign Mario. Nix did. Brown was a good pick. Bad year this year. Good his rookie season.
  21. He could always pull an Al Davis and take the league to court as he moves his team anyway. He already has the land, political approval and finances (without public money being involved). And the Raiders/Chargers Carson project, if it requires public money, which I believe it does, will probably not happen. California providing public money for stadiums is fairly unlikely, even though many stadiums in California need to be either demolished or majorly refurbished: L.A. Coliseum, Qualcomm, Oakland Coliseum, Oracle Arena and the Rose Bowl come to mind. I don't think the NFL wants the precedent of Kroenke paying for his own stadium. Most owners won't want to do that if they move. And if Kroenke does it will be a reference point for other cities not feeling like its necessary to help an owner/NFL to do it.
  22. Hogan would be fine if he were in his right position: fourth or fifth WR. I like this idea. But I wonder what the strategy for FA will be. I believe Mario and McKelvin are out. Do the Bills take that money and focus on building the offense or re-tooling the defense? And we can't forget they need to focus on the o-line as well as #2 WR. Woods had over 100 yards in Philly. I think he doesn't have chemistry consistently with Tyrod. Agree it's an experience thing with our QB. Woods flashed a lot when EJ was the QB because they had chemistry. Now, for all that, I'm glad Tyrod is using the talents of Sammy Watkins, whereas in the beginning of the year he was hitting Harvin much more in the pass game.
  23. Schwartz is a good coordinator. That is VERY DIFFERENT from being Head Coach.
  24. He can eat that. He's a multi-billionaire. Should he eat that? Probably not.
