  1. Bingo. They won't have trouble selling out what will probably be a smaller stadium, raised ticket prices or not. What is possible is that the jumping through tables, setting themselves on fire, boning between cars clientele might not have the same experience they are used to. Which would bring out a whole other type of crowd. I love the rock concert feel of the Ralph, but the future is coming and it might tamp down on it somewhat. Packers dropped hundred of millions in the retro-fitting of Lambeau.
  2.   I don't think they were ever trying to push them out, per se. They want each of their markets to produce $ for the league. As much as possible. Pegula's aren't taking the Bills anywhere. This is not even a thing anymore. Nothing wrong with a new stadium when it's time for one. The Ralph is cool for now. But once we get to the end of the current lease plans should be made to either retrofit or build new. It will be almost 50 years old at that point.   ^ Yep. Pegula's seem all in on downtown. I wouldn't mind a retrofit of the Ralph, but just watching how the Pegula's operate tells anyone watching where that new stadium will be.
  3. Reports have been they will have about 50 million under the cap next off-season. They can re-sign who they want to. Draft is deep for DT. They can get a starting caliber DT after round one. LB might be harder to find. If there is a LB they like at 19 they should grab him.
  4. The agent is right to try to get money out of the Bills. The Bills are right to wait. Unless he is going to holdout, which ain't happening, TT has no leverage. He has none after next season either. Even if he blows up, and they can't agree on an extension, all the Bills need to do is tag him. Nothing to see here... Although, it makes me more interested to see what they do at the QB position in the draft, if anything.
  5. Yes he is. For next year and a few more after that. Remember the extension signed by Whaley?
  6. Best: Myles Jack Bust: Jared Goff Sleeper: Braxton Miller
  7. Shepard would be an excellent pick. But if Miller is there in Rd. 2... LB/DL in rd. 1 WR/DL in rd. 2 WR/DL in rd. 3 DB/QB in rd. 4
  8. They don't need upgrades at RT or RG. They need the players they drafted to improve, which is very possible as they're still young in the game. Replacing them, after a year or two, would be, as you say, changing course. Even with improvement needed, the offense is on a good track. Difference makers at each skill position and the strongest players on the offensive line are under contract. Staying relatively healthy is also something they could use. Depth is an issue all over the league, Bills aren't the only team in that position. It's part of the natural turnover due to free agency and trying to improve. I hear you about a Rex, but if one hires a coach, its not realistic to expect that coach not to bring what he believes in to the new team. If what he says is to be believed they utilized elements of Schwartz's system along with his own. Didn't work out. We'll see what happens now. This is a good draft for teams needing help on D. And if the Bills hit, they have good, cheap talent for the next four/five years to go along with Hughes, Dareus, A. Williams and Darby who are under contract also for the next four/five years. McCoy, Clay, Williams under contract. Re-sign Sammy and, if he takes the next step, Taylor. That's potential for a legitimate five year run. Next year the Bills have a lot of cap room to re-sign players. Yep. I think, as fans, folks only look at losses and additions. The coaches/GM see every practice rep and every game rep and are around each of these players daily. Moreso than us, they are very well aware why they prioritize one player over another. It's not like this is their profession or anything.
  9. Based on this article Sal did they have 3 or so million to spend at this point outside of the draft pick funds: http://www.wgr550.com/Bills-updated-salary-cap-and-FA-draft-situation/22576881 I wouldn't mind seeing a trade like this. But it is impractical because what would the Bills have to use as bait?
  10. Kickers kick. It's not like the forbearance a position player gets. He missed way too many kicks last year to be comfortable. If he shows throughout off season work and camp that he's regained form, great. But they should definitely be looking for another kicking option, who can also kick-off.
  11. I don't think so. They wouldn't pay to fly these players in if they didn't have some interest.
  12. He stunk the last two seasons. It's no guarantee he turns it around, Pats or no Pats.
  13. I can count on one hand the number of times I've used marijuana. I don't drink either. But I have been around many people who do both; I have been around people who do both, some might say, too much. The alcohol was far more hazardous to those people AND the people they were around. I found MJ smokers mellow out, might lose some motivation and will eat up all the snacks, but are harmless. The alcohol usually led people to change, in various ways, many of them negative; fussing, fighting, being promiscuous, driving, etc. Obviously, people can drink and be just fine. Just from observation, in comparing users of the two, I have seen alcohol be infinitely more troublesome.
  14. Alcohol causes many more problems than Marijuana, yet we see multiple beer ads during games. Marijuana can also be used for pain tolerance, which in the NFL is necessary. But since it is against the rules the dude needs to be smarter about his use or not use it at all.
  15. Doubt Whaley moves up. I can see him trading down and getting extra picks. Especially because the D-line is a strength of this draft.
  16. Wouldn't be surprised at all. And for 8 mil that would be a good investment for Miami.
  17. Taking 8 million from Miami is different than taking 8 million from the Bills. He never had a contract with Miami. And ultimately, he didn't leave Buff because of money. I think when he kept opening his mouth about the D, coupled with his play, it was a done deal for him. Not to mention the strength of the draft is the D-line.
  18. Agreed. He was better than some gave him credit for. Hope he does well in Philly.
  19. I doubt we see a first round safety bc there doesn't seem to be one worth the first round pick. BUT if the Bills traded down, picked up another pick and took a safety in Rd. 2 their first pick in the draft could be a safety. And they do need a safety; Williams health, Graham's age and possible time needed at CB3 and if Rambo doesn't come back.
  20. Can you say, hoax? So after all these decades, a knife just happens to have been found, given to a COP, who holds onto it because he doesn't know the law? If it is true that this cop had this knife and just now said something it verifies the LAPD incompetence Johnny Cochran spoke of at the trial. I think this is just a "story" released during a popular tv show on the subject to keep interest heightened. Maybe it's just me though.
  21. Well, no time like the present to get it right. Can't live in the past. And just like they were right not to overpay Levitre, they would be correct not to overpay Incognito either.
  22. I hear you, but nah. These players get mistreated by organizations constantly. They rarely see all of the money they signed a contract for. He has to get as much as he can while he can, especially at his age. Sucks for us, but I'm not mad at him. If he bounces the Bills will have to find someone else. And there is always someone else.
  23. If Miller is there in the 2nd I believe they would pick him quick, fast and in a hurry. But I like Woods a lot. I think more consistency at QB and health will allow him to show better. He's a tough dude, does what he's asked and doesn't really complain. And he runs good routes, makes tough catches. Taylor being the unquestioned starter should be good for him and all the WR/TE. They'll have the majority of reps together.
