  1. goes to show how much YOU know...it was Dartmouth dummy
  2. a byrd in the hand is worth 2 marios in the bush...or something like that... but yeah, Mario is better and more impactful given both playing at their best.
  3. What if the highly skilled guys like Gilmore, Dareus, Byrd, Williamses, Carrington play to their potential and the rooks play like vets? How much a reflection on the DC is that? Does it say, Whoa! look at the job he's done putting the players in the right spots to succeed? or does it prove just how pathetic the coaches were before? My guess is that an owner would want a few years under his belt, even if he seems to gameplan and make in-game adjustments well. So much goes on behind the scenes in regards to player relationships and professional growth. I'd think some of those factors carry more weight than the football one's (as we'd like to believe, for it's mostly the on-field product that we can comment on) to climb the ranks in meteoric fashion, as many here are suggesting.
  4. god hates the cheatriettes. this i know.
  5. Wannstedt couldn't do $#!t with our defense last year. Now you want him to ring a bell too?
  6. true, you have to have an extraordinary ability to fleece the public of money that is much needed elsewhere
  7. I'm sure there's many chinese billionaires that have taken a number.
  8. are you looking at your martian calendar again? in your case, 9... http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=YtuybFrq7Rw
  9. 5-10-1 I feel a REAL doozy comin' on for the Browns game. Plus Doug Marrone will pull a Donovan McNabb (ahem with the initials) and forget about the 1 overtime tie rule. Why you ask? Because both were affiliated with Syracuse U along with Brown's great Jim Brown, which coincidentally both have (or used to anyway) plain orange helmets. Jim Brown is still peeved about our raining on his 'day of honor' last year AND this is like the first time ever that the teams will be playing back-to-back in Cleveland. Kinda creepy. Speaking of creepy, it's being played in October, the first full month of fall, to which I associate the colors brown and orange (bare ground and pumpkins). Oh and yeah, McNabb's game was also played in the state of Ohio. Against another team in orange. And ours is a night game. Televised nationally. 10-10 for the only tie in the league this year. It's a marvelous night for a moondance. Witch team will win? Nevermore. (I shouldn't play the spooky Ravens connection to the franchise, right?) Scared yet?
  10. in the parking lot or the football field?
  11. He would REALLY have to stand out above all the familiar names that owners are more willing to take a chance on. This coupled with his age, experience and the few openings available, make him a long shot at best. He'll have a few years here.
  12. which would probably be alright with most. however, showing it on superbowl sunday when the bills are playing the rams might be a little over-the-top.
  13. Imagine the Bills fielding a team that is superior and outperforms the other squads every week, no matter the circumstances. I'm fortunate to remember the like, are you?
  14. I find it ironic that his name is Bill and his initials are BB. We needed to find a coach named Pat with the initials NEP. But NOOOOO, we went and got a Doug/DM. Total bs, imho. wt eff?
  15. I was expecting a thoughtful discussion about women's basketball
  16. ...or we could throw Brady's face into some dirt. Legally, of course
  17. I was just commenting on the first 4 words of your original post.
  18. Golly, I thought I got excited about lists. You take it to a whole new level. sorry...I can't help myself
  19. I'd be more concerned with the fact that he has only one eye.
  20. I would've gone with "Kookoo for Kiko"... but that's just me
  21. Ol' Grandma Megatron'll have somethin to say 'bout that
