  1. Fourth. Quarter. Interceptions.
  2. It's gonna be tough to win the division if we only play 8 games... do you have to check with NFL brass before you do that?
  3. Not only is the glass half empty, the liquid inside it is urine/fecal matter. Why did you have to pour half the glass on our wheaties?
  4. I think we all need a little break. This is going out to all those "Black Sheep" out there. Myself being one of them. Enjoy!
  5. Confederate flags and Jack Daniels odor. Yeah, I probably shouldn't have gone there, but let's not pretend it doesn't exist. I just didn't hear a lot of sarcasm in your post, resulting in my sharp reply. He needs to learn to get away with it like the millions of other citizens.
  6. That was a clever bait-and-switch....3-2-1
  7. Yes. That is exactly what I said. There is a difference in defending unpopular opinion and doing what you do.
  8. Thanks. Does the test provide for roadside testability? I would think that tech is pretty expensive right now. Probably only get one if involved in an accident causing injury or death at the hospital.
  9. Why not 2?...3?... After all it stays in your system for a few weeks. There's no way to prove whether one recently smoked a little bit or if they smoked a lot not-so-recently. I'll stop begging. But I've been on this site for several years and have noticed the consistent tone and stance you take. Just seems like yer pickin a fight. I'm not the kind that backs down to bullies like you, so good luck with that. Keep sayin it's just black people. It's gonna be lonely where you are eventually.
  10. And to answer you question. As long as the cop is pulling the car over that's blaring AC/DC or the car full of Bieber freak college girls, because they're doing it too, and probably more.
  11. Sorry to hijack, but the bottom line really, no matter what the behavior, is Blackmon's not been able to avoid the consequences as many others have. I'm not advocating DUIs or anything. In the end, Darwin will see to that. But we can't have it both ways. With liberty comes the reality of unforseen issues and sometimes even more challenges.
  12. Again, I beg of you, please tell me WHEN I should get behind the wheel after legally ingesting legally purchased marijuana? After I eat half a bag of Doritos brand tortilla chips? There's a serious difference in enforceability.
  13. Jerry Hughes did that all on his own. He was probably high when he raced his car right? Listen, I am defending it I know, and it might not be popular to do so. And all the above reports seem to some degree valid, but tell me, how long should I wait before I get in my vehicle to drive? There's no real answer. Compared to the distracted idiots with everything on their mind BUT driving, cruisin while high (it being the ONLY factor) is fairly negligible in its effect on traffic safety. And so ya know, a lot of people have been doing it for a long long long long time. My guess is the reason Blackmon got pulled over had nothing to do with pot and everything to do with loud music, big rims, you know, things that white cops look for.
  14. Intelligence and pot smoking I would think are mutually exclusive. And name calling does not an argument make. What else would we expect from one with a moniker like Caveman? Lifestyles differ. Believe me, I live in a state where it's basically legal to drive drunk. It doesn't mean I do it though. But I'll agree with all that it's best done in the safest manner possible. But jeez, these guys go through hell physically for our entertainment. Weed helps.
  15. Whattabout Defense? strips sacks, forced fumbles, int's... Robey, Hughes, Williams cubed, searcy, bradham, lawson, gilmore... all big hitters Defensive touchdowns usually correlate with victory, no? how many this year?
  16. but you CAN vote them out of office!
  17. Sober, distracted drivers with smartphones are far more numerous, thus much worse. Throw in other factors like pot, prescriptions, alcohol etc... I'd much rather have a stoned WR driving behind me than a 17 yr old college freshman, that's for sure.
  18. Let me list all the car crashes with marijuana as the only culprit. 1. ok, done it's about as dangerous as driving with the radio on. but I do get the overall theme of the thread. Why can't they put the bong down for a little while to create some wealth for themselves and their families? The answer, they shouldn't have to. If it has no effect on their play, and their long term health(maybe a little wiggle room for argument there admittedly), it should be OK.
  19. There is no reason for pot to be illegal in the NFL. It doesn't enhance on field performance and is an excellent stress/pain reliever with few if any side effects. Now, combine it with alcohol and it's a different story. Yet, we'll allow our players to get hooked on oxycodone et al. Lovely. C'mon people, it's not 1956 anymore.
  20. I can understand the reticence for putting him in the hall of fame already, but jeesh, this guy's got it all. Humility, Speed, quickness, hands, smarts for the game, vision, acceleration, timing, drive, He's already finished Mckelvin off. They probably don't even want to flirt with Gilmores' confidence by putting him out there. He dictates to the defender. The only thing I see hampering him is the 'rookie wall'. But he will be targeted early and often for the duration of his season.
  21. Does Schwartzseses defense play to the strengths of Dareus and KW? Suh was and is a monster who brings it...Fairley to some degree also. Will kydar play be affected Leading to less opportunities for interior penetration in that scheme? perhaps we're SO talented that he's overlooking our best player (maybe more like player who seems to project and is currently producing and on track to be our best player) I'm just sayin' it could very well be Hughes. (at least on D, with the seeming arrival of Swat) So we've had a few pages of this now and not too many, if any comments about negative fundamentals in his game or his off field issue with the racing. Just find that fact interesting in itself.
  22. It's gonna be extra sweet for Hughes when he crushes Luck's ribs on the first play from scrimmage in the Divisional round of the playoffs.
  23. can you pick me up in Madison?
  24. OK, that's reasonable. Don't today's coaches want to utilize the skills of the players they have by adapting their system to them and not the other way around. Some talk as if the new Schwartz system is cut out of diamond and is too rigid. If an incoming OC had built a reputation on running the ball and is introduced to Peyton Manning as his QB, wouldn't he adapt to the strengths of his most talented players? We had a record setting defense in one phase of the game last year, do we really have to sacrifice 25% to enhance our run D? I thought that would be shored up by Spikes. Lotsa Q's. Thanks for your input.
