Unfortunately, he didn't need to come up with very many original things to write on them.
And it really takes the meaning out of it when you flash your message in the 4th quarter of a blowout loss.
I was speaking more in terms of FO overhaul, new coaching, changing systems and a huge amount of record/game impacting injuries. The team just had a different feel to it. But I do agree with the "close game" contingency. EJ gave us a glimpse that he too can be calm and collected in the 4th quarter and pull off some more close games this year.
3rd down on both sides of the ball will be the decider this year.
It took a lot of things to happen last year for us to finish with so few wins. If half of those issues never happen, we win at LEAST 3 games. We were not nearly as far off as many paint us to be.
Although our record and on-field performance because of those factors put us in the "same-old-Bills" category, which we most certainly were not.
It will again take a massive effort from the football gods to keep us from winning at least 10 games.
How are these guys shakin' out now that half of camp is over? I figured this'd be a good thread to bump.
seeing the positive talk about Tuel more than Thad it seems
If we win the div at 9-7, that means the cheatriettes are 8-8 or worse? no way, sorry... to win it, we have to be at least 11-5, if not better to edge the boston sillynannies
Can you remind me, what position does Moeaki play?
I'm thinking that this is a phantom player that the Bills made up to reassure their internet fans. I can see them parading a 6'5" cardboard cutout over to the exercise bike area every day.
I live in the heart of Packer country, they had stopped laughing at me well before that. But I agree, that was the worst execution of a football play by an individual.... ever
I'm on board. I think he will probably play as well as Glenn did last year. But with the amount of playing time being more limited. It seems the vets are reaching a little deeper and it's gonna take a real effort to earn the start over the incumbents. But his size alone should help him succeed where others may not. Conditioning will also tell on this fella.
After year one however, we may want to look out. His history shows some potential issues that no one would be surprised about if they popped up again. Hope he can show some emotional growth and leave those things exactly where they are, in the past.
