  1. ouch. that hurts, man WR1 = Hogan, Avion Black, James Hardy, Jeremy McDaniel WR2 = Roosevelt, A. Brown, Haddad, Aiken, J. Armor LG= Jasper QB = Edwards, Tuel, Gary Marangi, Gilbert RB = Joique Bell, J Burns, Linton, Grey RG = Mike Pucillo OT = Mike Williams TE = Schouman Defense: WLB = Ellison LB = Brownlow SLB = Tank Carder RDE = Erik Flowers LDE = Maybin S = Rashad Baker, Wendling CB = Lankster K = Anderson KR = Watson, Fast Freddy Smith
  2. Goodell: Who cares!!!! Football !!!!.... YAY!!!! Money!!!! WOOOOOO HOOOOO!!! Safety for the players be damned!!! My question is, why wouldn't the NFLPA have a say in something like this? It's not like they can't afford it either. Short sightedness for the sake of profit? or just cutting corners?
  3. Offense: WR1 = Hogan, Avion Black, James Hardy, Jeremy McDaniel WR2 = Roosevelt, A. Brown, Haddad, Aiken LG= Jasper QB = Edwards, Tuel, Gary Marangi RB = Joique Bell, J Burns RG = Mike Pucillo Defense: WLB = Ellison LB = Brownlow SLB = Tank Carder LDE = Maybin S = Rashad Baker K = Anderson KR = Watson Look at that deep pool er...um, I mean cesspool of talent. Fielding a team like that, is literally just a decent college team, at best. And they were OUR Buffalo Bills. Jeez. That time is done. Kaput. Right? Just look at the degree of talent they're fielding now, in comparison. I really don't think it's like that anymore. I just briefly scanned Joe Burns' wiki ... Looks like he's doing decent things http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Joe_Burns_(American_football)
  4. Offense: WR1 = Hogan, Avion Black, James Hardy WR2 = Roosevelt, Brown, Haddad, Aiken LG= Jasper QB = Edwards, Tuel RB = Joique Bell RG = Mike Pucillo Defense: WLB = Ellison LDE = Maybin Returner: Watson (what was his nickname again?) I threw in Hardy, wutta disappointment... he looked like a tin soldier out there... but not TOO high a pick WOW, we musta hadda great D, cause not a lotta shout outs to that side... yeah right also... lotsa wide receivers. What's up with that?
  5. excellent feedback! note: you guys gotta give me the scoop on these players so I can compile...yrs... position...etc my memory sucks unlike most of you's... thanks
  6. So far, Offense: WR1 = Hogan, Avion Black WR2 = Roosevelt LG= Jasper QB = Edwards, Tuel RB = Joique Bell RG = Mike Pucillo Defense: WLB = Ellison LDE = Maybin (no way I'm puttin' him against a LEFT tackle)
  7. I think he may have been the only starting linebacker under 160 lbs in the history of the NFL/sarcasm
  8. So far, Offense: WR1 = Hogan WR2 = Roosevelt LG= Jasper QB = Edwards Defense: Keith Ellison =WLB. right?
  9. A little exercise for us before the HoF game. What Bills draft picks or walk-ons looked AWESOME (or we were blinded by potential) in preseason and then fizzled in the regular season or got outright cut? Open for discussion are players who fans really liked but had little or no chance at all to make the squad. I'll start: Michael Jasper Offense or Defense? Better ask his shift manager at McDonald's.
  10. I might be a little concerned as to why they have to start the first series on the 2 yd line. However, a 98 yd TD to start the game would be pretty awesome.
  11. I walked under a ladder while breaking 13 mirrors, so everything's ok now. Rest easy my friend.
  12. Is anyone else's clock moving half as fast today?
  13. fixed Warren Sapp is never more than half right
  14. Another injury I don't want to see, Eli Manning. If the Giants make a run to the Superbowl, I'd rather not play against the backup this time.
  15. Live in Madison and watched Borland. Great player, but too many injuries. But with an NFL body in a couple of years, might be a beast.
  16. we all agree, I'm sure. The thread should probably be re-titled "2nd most exciting game" And it's really not even close. Maybe Warren Moon is the OP
  17. Well said. If there is a "coffin corner", Ray Guy put it there.
  18. The Denver game ? Christie kicks the 58 yd field goal, I think to win it. We had stucco ceilings in our house and I jumped up and threw my hands in the air! ....and proceeded to take a good amount of skin off of my knuckles.
  19. So you make the call... Hogan or TJ... Can TJ start to hang on to his targets? Is that a fundamental that can be improved? I know you can't teach Hogan acceleration and top end speed, that's for sure. But he may gain confidence if they give him a chance too. Thus not disappearing on game day. I'm seriously waffling on these two guys.
  20. With Goodwins' slight size and propensity for injury (it seems?) and the lack of offensive contributions from Easley(to this point), I could definitely argue for a roster spot for Hogan. Even having 6 on a given Sunday, for special teams. Getting rid of TJ will be a tough choice because of his speed and experience.
  21. That is some serious tax. Where do you live, Doc?
  22. I would rather roll over and embarrass a completely healthy NE in a game that they must win to reach the postseason. At some point you have to let go of the little brother syndrome and assert yourself. It is a common theme amongst us.
  23. Sorry mrags, I couldn't resist. We probably shouldn't get started again.
