  1. and, Cody can play fullback, Fridge-style. Allegedly can do a back-flip as well...
  2. that would really suck. Sports Illustrated's mock draft now has Okung, Bulaga & Davis gone by 9, us picking Trent Williams. http://sportsillustrated.cnn.com/2010/writ....html?eref=sihp
  3. yeah that is an insane average. Maybe cause the defenses were so focused on the run game? Read interview w/ him once, said his chances were rare, so had to make best of them. he could have transferred to another program that passed more when Paul Johnson came in, but stayed. classy. here's stats, yep 25 yd ave... had 46 receptions for 1,154 yards and eight touchdowns last season. During his three-year career at Tech, Thomas caught 120 passes for 2,339 yards and 14 touchdowns. http://www.cbssports.com/nfl/draft/players/1114965
  4. right track to conventional 3-4, yes. but there's speculation they might go w/ a 3-4 over at first, like dallas runs, and use K. Williams as 1-gap NT. there's also Lonnie Harvey, a complete unknown, has a conventional NT build. I'd like to see the big fat bastard NT in rnd 2 tho, LT at #9
  5. if we took McCoy, we'd better go back to 4-3. McCoy/Williams interior D-line, nice. I bet Bills hoping for Bulaga too.
  6. he seems like a quality player and person, but think he'll go higher than 3rd, and think we need to go w/ NT for our second pick. His college stats are lower than they could be, since GT plays flexbone
  7. if we traded up to #2, would hope we'd take Okung, or maybe Bulaga. McCoy/Suh are really better fits for 4-3's.
  8. TO thinks so!
  9. I wouldnt go that far. Ingram, McElroy, McClain didnt hurt either. I wouldn't mind Cody playing for Bills tho
  10. not really that much snow in denver, it's mostly in the mtns. it's semi-arid here, between desert & prairie climate. 300 days of sun a yr. yes, snow in sept & may but 70's sometimes in feb. might get a foot or 2 of snow, but usually melted in few days. wussy winters compared to upstate ny. but, you can drive 1 hour for 12+ feet of snow, nice! everyone watches too much South Park and think Denver's in the mtns buried half the year. and the Shanny weather thing was just an excuse.
  11. no doubt, he should be the only top QB to throw, challenge the others, like Suh did for the top DT's. gotta respect Suh for that, he could'a just sat back and still been in top couple picks.
  12. Yeah, he wasn't the most efficient $-wise with the broncos. Bowlen kinda let him have free-reign as far as spending, to some degree.
  13. seems crazy for SD to let him go, after letting LT go. must really be up against the cap limit. so they owed him $7.3 mil, but that doesn't mean any team that signs him is obligated to, right?
  14. hell yeah the weather's better in Denver. the average temps might be close, but there's MUCH more sun here, and there are warm days mixed in throughout winter. It can be below 0 for awile in late dec, but then you can get 60's in Jan occasionally, 70's in Feb sometimes. but the sun is the nice part. Denver itself is not in mtns, like many people think. I moved to Denver from Utica area, and it took years to psychologically feel like I went thru winter here. that being said, i think it's just an excuse as well. for 9 mil, Siberia would look good.
  15. but here's Bulaga comment, also from joeB of wgr550: Bryan Bulaga, Iowa - This kid is a home run. No doubt about it. His football IQ and level of confidence in his speech is astronomical. He was a completely consistent pass and run blocker in his time with the Hawkeyes, and has a nasty edge to him. If I dazed off for a second I would have thought I was listening to a ten year veteran. I was completely impressed. http://www.wgr550.com/BUSCAGLIA--Thoughts-...Day-One/6447407
  16. Hide the wings, and bring in Mt Cody!
  17. good points, and I agree 100% on the first rnd, Bulaga over Davis. but- Cam Thomas prob wont be there in the 3rd, and Arthur Jones in the 5th?
  18. think the Cowboys run that 3-4 over. Personally, I'd rather see them run that and keep Williams. but dont think he'd fit a traditional 3-4
  19. think it's a good possibility, while he has value after playing well last season. I've read it's possible the Bills run 3-4 Over scheme, which he might fit at NT (as D-line plays 1-gap), but if it fails, his value drops.
  20. safety's a non-need at this point for the Bills, with Wilson and Scott, when there is almost zero starting-caliber tackles, NT, and QB. And who knows about OLB.
  21. here's the reason this whole scenario will not happen- if Berry's good enough for us to take him regardless of our other needs, and based on him being best player avail, then why wouldn't any of the other 8 teams pick him? Especially Clevland.
  22. if that really happened, maybe you look at Dan Williams for NT, and possibly trade back a bit to make it better value, and hope like crazy that Bell & Meredith can step up.
  23. that'd be a nightmare, and prob wont happen. but if it does you pick the 5th best OT. Okung, Bulaga, Davis, Williams, Campbell
