    wow, broncos getting a #6 for Marshall would be a steal for denver. but no doubt they'd take less, if it was a deal-killer for seattle.

    Troy Smith wants to go to Clev right? he played on same Buckeyes team as Donte, 1 year apart. -just adding to the speculation here...

    in defense of Marshall, he was WAY underpaid, McDaniels tends to stir things up w/ players (a bit immature himself), and marshall was cleared of his legal charges. That being said, he def has serious red flags, and is quite immature. but I think if he goes to a good team and a coach that could handle him and gets paid well, he'd be ok.

    yeah, because #6 is Seattle's "true" pick. #14 is from the Broncs, ironically.

    the word is locally that Broncs want a WR, Dez Bryant most likely. But they'd prob still make that w/ their 2nd original pick 11, and pick Clausen w/ Seattle's. I think if they didnt take a QB there, McDaniels would be run outta town. (I should clarify, that the fans/media want a WR, totally different than the team of course)

    yeah, doesnt want to move family again. plus he's content w/ being the 3rd stringer. Seems too complacent and non-committed to football. I do understand the family thing, but c'mon!

    dam, Bears could be a serious contender, w/ Peppers, plus if they get chester taylor as well. I dont like crybaby Cutler, but I do think he is talented, esp if he settles down on the INTs. And w/ Martz as OC. sounds like Black n Blue div is back

    I'd rather that first go to Balitmore for Gaithers. a 2nd for McNabb + Whitner, would be a good deal.

He did 31 repetitions of the 225-pound bench press, just one less than potential No. 1 overall pick Ndamukong Suh, and ran a respectable 5.27 in the 40-yard dash. Claims only SD, NO & Buffalo talked to him.

    I was thinking a similiar thing w/ Baltimore. Somehow make a package deal for Gaithers & Troy Smith, which they wanted a 1st & 5th. maybe a 2nd & 4th or something?

    yes that's why I was theorizing/asking if possible to send package to Balt including Whitner, to make that 1st rnd for Gaither a 2nd. Here's what Im thinkin: we ship- Whitner, 2nd pick, 5th pick (or something like that), balt sends us- Gaither, Smith no idea if that's all possible or feasible, really.

    Or, package that 2nd pick w/ Whitner for Baltimore's OT Gaither. if that's even possible. Teams can trade tendered players as they wish, right? If so, there's gotta be some potential to deal w/ Baltimore, with Gaither & now Troy Smith as tendered FA's.
