  1. OK, I did assume they wanted to move him to LT, because of the Gaither thing.
  2. just doesnt sound right... for now
  3. better off trading our 6th for Troy Smith.
  4. altho "the incident" was weird and , it wasnt violent, and I'd hardly consider him a criminal. Hell, did he run his sister over w/ a car after, or take $20 from her? seems his college years he's surrounded himself w/ good people, and he's stayed outta trouble. I dont think whatever team takes him will have issues, it's his baggage, once the press goes thru it's cycle anyway.
  5. I believe the best approach is the OT at #9. If Okung, Bulaga, T Williams are all gone, OK, then maybe go for the pass rusher or NT. #9 is high for Davis & Campbell, but if trading down is possible, still pick em up in 1st rnd. Im ok w/ philosophy of skipping QB and building out the team first, but I think the O-line does need to be near completion this yr. and NT for 2nd pick!
  6. 3. Draft OT - Trent Williams
  7. if Bulaga or T Williams is still there at 9, bills better grab them.
  8. wow, must be since he was navy and had to fulfill servc obligation. we should think about picking up Ricky Dobbs (Navy), after the draft. let him serve for 2 yrs and see what he's got left. not our solution for franchise QB, but a long-shot w/ no cost.
  9. Disagree w/ that, Bradford at #9 would be very good. wont happen tho, so we're wasting our time here. Yes we won't get Bradford.
  10. I agree Trent Williams would be a good pick at #9, if they do want to go w/ OT in first rnd.
  11. interesting stats. Here's one for ya- John Elway's first game, he lined up behind guard for the hike!
  12. now that's thinking ahead! but prob true
  13. they should make it exactly like college OT, with kick-offs. but they dont want to copy college rules, so the NFL makes this new complicated change. TDs are like sudden-death, but not FGs, or something like that.
  14. in 96 vs dallas, Stewart played. Neil ODonnell was the QB tho, Stewart was 'Slash' then. cool stuff. kinda "early wildcat" plays.
  15. < it's Byrd on avatar. Mcnabb jersey was old avatar, if you see McNabb, clear your cache. true, boring yes. but my point was that it's way too early to tell. just waiting for a Tebow post...
  16. ask that after the draft & training camp
  17. prob not Bulaga at #9 tho
  18. not a very accurate write-up... The same is true at safety, where Byrd is locked in at free safety and Whitner is a natural strong safety, a sure tackler and adept in the box. George Wilson, a converted wide receiver who plays in nickel packages, is a suitable backup who has better hands than Whitner, but it's Whitner who holds the secondary together. He's smart. He's experienced. He rarely is caught out of position. And he's versatile, playing both safety spots, cornerback and taking a turn once at linebacker. There are few teams with secondaries as deep as the Bills.
  19. that's sad
  20. agree w/ above posters about OT at #9, most likely Trent Williams, and Cody or Cam Thomas w/ 2nd pick.
  21. w/ the Dwan Edwards & Andra Davis signings we just took a big step towards stopping the run.
  22. check her out for yourself...
  23. Lonny Harvey.
