I wouldnt be shocked or bummed if it was Spiller, but they can get by this yr w/ jackson/Lynch if they had to. but what if Schobel retires? Maybin, Kelsay, Mitchell, Ellis on outside LB?

I can see Morgan, IF the top OTs are gone and Clausen is gone. Schobel will be retiring this yr or next, and Maybin is still a maybe for now. They'll most likely have a serious need for OLB next yr, if not this yr, so might as well fill that now. I doubt anyone has an issue w/ a GT pick, I would think the familiarity would be a positive. Altho- Id still rather have Williams or Bulaga or Clausen.

Tebow did look good, excellent, but in a college spread system. Clausen played in pro-style system. Tebow may well be good someday, but it won't be in 2010.

Boller just went to Oakland. so Raiders now have Boller, Russell & Gradkowski. doubt they'll pick Clausen. of course, who knows w/ Davis.

that's the key. Last year, McDaniels didnt exactly hit a home run in the draft, and people already want to run him out of town. of course, bronco fans have high expectations. The McDaniels (and team) handling of Cutler & Marshall wasn't the greatest, and contributed to those conflicts. Not sayin Cutler isn't a crybaby, and Marshall has serious issues, but McDaniels made those conflicts worse.

true, but I've read the argument that Oakland taking Clausen would be Davis admitting a mistake in Russell. not likely. (even tho he should)
