  1. exactly exactly exactly. Cutler has alot of talent, but he's gotta fix the interception problem, and stop whining.
  2. interesting. they've been friends since 7 yr old. read bottom of article... http://sports.yahoo.com/nfl/news;_ylt=AtN4aVSDMICprjGQTb7x_v05nYcB?slug=ap-49ers-smithout Ginn, who joined the Niners from Miami this season, said he first met Troy Smith when they were 7 years old and their families went to the same church. Back then though, their conversations didn’t focus on football, but on who was going to sneak out to get some snacks. “It was at church, and we had a McDonalds to our left, and we had a little candy store to our right,” Ginn said. “And we would sneak out of the church, and either I would hold the door and he would run to McDonalds, or he would hold the door and I would run to the candy store. That’s how we started off, and then we just grew from there.”
  3. cool, this'll be my first time at Arrowhead, and cant wait!
  4. One idea I havn't heard yet is this... ASSUMING Fitz continues his good play, and appears to be the long-term answer at the end of the season, draft a QB, but not w/ #1 pick. grab one later, 3rd, 4th rnds or so. you'll pay him less, and he'll have the longer time needed you'd assume a lower-pick QB would need to develop. That way you can get your pass-rusher, D-line, etc AND a QB for the future. He's eating his Flutie Flakes...
  5. yes he fits our 5-2 scheme just fine!
  6. can you bring your avatar girl?
  7. one stat that really stands out to me (ok, 2 stats) KC #1 rushing offense in nfl Bills #32 rushing D in nfl hopefully no one has told Haley that!
  8. no way he gets fired. he's an offensive guy, and our offense is clicking, to his credit. Now the D is another story...
  9. Im looking for KC tailgate as well
  10. KC stat- KC #1 rushing team in NFL Bills #32 rushing def in NFL. not good. should be an exciting game anyway.
  11. what about covering Todd Heap?
  12. OK, maybe. I'm gonna watch for this all in Balt game. Like an above poster said, it's really more of a 5-2. Would kinda make some sense, as the 5-2 is sort of similiar to 3-4, and w/ our personel, may be sort of a transitional D formation this yr. So, I wikipedia'd it, FWIW, to educate myself more about the 5-2, and... this defense is most often used in middle school and little league and Currently, the Arizona Cardinals use this defense regularly, in addition to their base 3-4 AZ's D sucks. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/5%E2%80%932_defense of course, Im not taking that source very seriously. But Im trying to figure out what the heck the Bills' coaches are thinkin. A 5-2 would 1) help stop the run 2) vaguely resemble the 3-4 3) rely on an exceptional secondary, which is/was our strongest part of team. So maybe that's the thought. maybe.
  13. Thanks for clarifying. yeah, no speed at all, just a line of tanks basically. This is bad situation. I agree w/ all you just wrote, except for maybe Williams at DE, and Maybin at 4-3 DE, I think those are bad. Agree they gotta see what maybin has at OLB. All I can think is they're trying to get players the exp they'll need for FUTURE 3-4 using a 4-3 format, ie- Kelsay OLB, Stroud/Edwards DEs. only rationale I can think. Seems WAY too half-ass tho. I suppose you could say this is a 3-4/4-3 hybrid. but that's a long-shot. not good. at all.
  14. so play the dam 5-2. play goalline the whole time, fine. just dont play kelsay as a dam 4-3 OLB!
  15. no, it's sad. really.
  16. OK, this whole Kelsay at OLB thing just sunk in. Guess Im a bit slow, or my brain didnt want to process that information. So he DID actually play OLB in Jax game?? Was it more of a 5-man line or something? or was he actually playin as a 'regular' SAM role? I watched 1st half of that game online and didnt realize that was the case. I dont get this at all. Are they that short at LBs because of injuries? I mean c'mon, better off playin Coleman or Moats there, or just signing some LBer FA than plugging in an underachieving DE at SAM. Is it MAYBE to get Kelsay OLB experience for the future 3-4 ? Somebody please explain the Bill's rationale for this.
  17. ONly surprise that'd be is a pleasant one. Baltimore: Oh look, they have Kelsay as OLB! Let's run a few sweeps and short TE passes, and more sweeps.
  18. So Kelsay is the OLB in the 4-3 ? C'mon, really??
  19. yeah I thought this was just the "heavy-line" package as well. Hope they still play some 3-4, to get the rooks + Maybin some 3-4 exp.
  20. that was hilarious! Guess the guard went on strike. for everyone speculating on Howard at RT, you'll get to see it this sunday http://blogs.buffalobills.com/2010/10/19/ol-howard-ready-to-start/
