  1. I absolutely love the running back core that we ahve now. Marshawn lynch is the odd man out. Joique Bell comes from D2 school and Freddy Jackson from community college. Spiller, Jackson, and Bell, couldnt ask for better backs
  2. I live in central PA and was wondering if there is any way to watch the bills games online? I was looking at the "NFL Sunday ticket to go" but you have to have the "NFL sunday ticket" in order to have the "to go' package.
  3. no, which in espanol is NO
  4. no to pike
  5. this post isnt even worth commenting on. Following Darth's logic is an impossible feat
  6. How do you figure next years draft is worse in the qb department? Locker is better than clausen and bradford combined. Plus you have possibly four qb's projected in the first round. How many are in the first round this year? Two?! Next year you have Jake Locker (Washington), Ryan Mallet (Arkansas), Terrelle Pryor (Ohio State), and Pat Devlin (Delaware), all of which are projected first round selections. Plus you have Chris Ponder out of FSU, who would be a very solid second round pick. I dont understand how 2011 will be a worse qb draft than this year, please explain.
  7. Marshawns value is very low right now. Trading him now would be like selling your stocks at their lowest point. We all know that Lynch is capable of putting up better numbers than he did this past year. Lynch was a solid running back in 07 and 08. Let his stock rise this year and then entertain trade offers. It would be different if we knew that Lynch would never be a successful back, then we could jsut cut our losses. However, lynch's stock will rise.
  8. That is a best case scenario draft. Okung would be an outstanding pick at #9
  9. Lefevour is a better quarterback than Clausen. Clausen is immature like Tony Romo. Lefevour is teachable and will only get better. Clausen peaked at Notre Dame.
  10. chuck norris
  11. trading lee evans would be a mistake. Gailey said he was going to put the very best players on the field. Lee is our best player lol . this post makes no sense
  12. as long as we dont select a qb with our first pick, we will be in good shape. Getting a qb before you have an o-line is like putting dirty underwear on after you take a shower.
  13. if trent is the interim qb to get us to next years draft where there are going to be better qb prospects anyway, i am okay with it. this year is going to be a building year anyway. plus, trent would be a lot cheaper than drafting a guy like clausen this year, which would be a mistake
  14. Kelsay should be traded
  15. well lets just pray that ralph keeps his hands out of the drafting departments this year. I know Nix will pick the right guys
  16. There has been a lot of recent discussion about the Bill's draft history, in regards to them drafting players who did not cut it in the NFL. I have heard two arguements concerning this issue. One, the Bill's scouting department totally muffs on the draft every year and brings in prospects that end up not being able to compete in the pro level, or at least represent their high draft value as well as they should. The other side of the debate points more toward the coaching staff and their failure to properly teach and develop the green players. I am going to choose the latter point. While the players that are drafted do have a responsibility to perform at a high level, they do require good teachers and motivators. If you compare the Bill's over the past five years to an upper echelon team, such as the Colts, Pats, or Chargers, the overall body language and motivation simply has not been there. Now i am well aware that it is as much of the palyers fault as it is the coaches, but the coach needs to be a leader in a sense and set the tone for the football team. Ralph Wilson could not have selected a more low key, non confrontational guy, when he selected Jauron. He was the worse type of coach we could have hired. His decisions regarding personnel were questionable and his mentality readiated through the entire team. There was never a sense of urgency or intensity with the Bills under jauron. They went into each game with the same attitude and almost expected to be defeated. I like the Gailey hire not only because Gailey is a good teacher but because he knows how to win and he knows how to use the players he has to the best of their ability. I expect good things from Maybin this year. Gailey will utilize him to his full potential. Do not be disappointed if Gailey tries to develop Brohm. Alls i am saying Bills fans, is that not all of the players we have are complete busts. I think we will see a lot of improvements and a lot of surprises this year on the field. My dark horse for this year is Brian Brohm. Keep on eye on him. I think Chan will discover a diamond in the rough with Brohm.

  18. agreed, Incognito was a good decision late in the year for the bills. I like the fact that he is edgy and rough around the edges, we need that in Buffalo. The Jauron regime was too soft and his coaching negatively affected the players. They seemed so nonchalant and there was no sense of urgency. Having a guy like Incognito on the line is important. Thigpen has shown some bright spots but he is not our franchise quarterback. We cant afford to take big risks at this position, especially after all the years we have failed to bring in a real quality quarterback. Clausen or Bradford are the safest bets.
  19. While bringing in free agents is a great way to build a team, i also believe that the bills have not properly assessed some of the rookie players they have drafted in the last two years. Among the top of my list of players that I as a bills fan desire to see are Hardy and Nelson. The bills arent known for having extremely tall receivers until the TO experiment failed in Buffalo. Hardy was selected with the 41st overall pick out of Indiana in the 08 draft. He is 6'5'' and 220 lbs and is the tallest wide receiver ever drafted by the bills. He has tremendous athleic abilty and probably would have been more succesful than TO this past year if he hadnt been injured. Nelson is another tall receiver at Tight End. He was taken with the 121st pick in the 09 draft out of southern miss. He stands at 6'5'' and 240 lbs. Also has tremendous athletic ability. I understand that signing free agents who have already proven themselves in the NFL is a much lower risk move and is much more appealing to a lot of owners. However it is not always practical and more importantly affordable. There MUST be a healthy balance between drafted and developed players along with free agent signings. While it would be wonderful to bring in a Chris Chambers or an Anquan Boldin, it also would be great to develop some young guys and raise their stock over the years. I realize that there are lots of drafted players that prove to be busts, especially in bills recent history. I would simply like to see James Hardy and Shawn Nelson a bit this year to make an accurate assesment. These Kids have a ton of potential.
  20. Chris Chambers would be an excellent addition alongside Lee Evans. Chambers is 31 years old and should still have a few more years of effective ballplay left. I do believe that with some guidance, Hardy will be an excellent WR. Having two veteran receviers such as Chambers and Evans would be very beneficial and will only raise the level of play for the surrounding cast. We need to keep an eye on both Hardy and Nelson. I believe they are young players full of a lot of potential. Terrel Owens is not the type of veteran receiver i would want to lead my young guys.
  21. Reid likes Mcnabb too much. Donovan Mcnabb is the face of philly. I would love to have mcnabb in a bills uniform but i just cannot see him being dealt by the eagles.
  22. Despite having a sub-par offensive line, I still believe Trent is not the answer for the Bills. Good quarterbacks must be risk takers at times. Trent is an extremely conservative quarterback who rarely takes chances downfield. Buffalo needs a quarterback with a strong arm who is not afraid to sling it downfield and trusting his receivers to make a play. I think because Trent had a lack of trust in his receivers and himself, he was hesitant to take any risks in the passing game. Also, he is very feable and injury prone. I think the Trent project was a bust and the Bills need to move on. A solid free agent quarterback should be picked up here in the next several weeks to get us through the next couple years, while we select a quarterback in either this year or next years draft to develop
