  1. I feel jack del rio's success is more a result of Derek Carr, whereas Alex smith and the chiefs success is more a result of Andy Reid
  2. Nice stat...interesting..his running ability shoots him up the standings. Look at his clutch weighted pass stat though....horrendous
  3. I think there is a chance he will drop to us, especially if we lay an egg against the jets lol
  4. How did philly fire this guy? Behind belichek I think he's 2nd best coach in football. Resurrects Alex smiths career and does nothing but win. I feel a little bad for Philly fans . Lost Andy Reid then Kelly comes in and they lose desean jackson, lesean McCoy, and Jeremy Maclin.
  5. Im with you, I think he will best qb from this draft by far hemet. So u would keep tyrod and draft Watson?
  6. I think a first round qb could do what tyrod does for a lot less money. Tyrod doesn't turn the ball over bc he takes no risks . He's usually a one read qb and doesn't release the ball until he's certain it's safe. There's no anticipation, he usually finds receivers very late in their route and doesn't give them the ability to run after the catch. Tyrod has also had tons of time to throw the ball. Despite a great line and strong running game he still puts up pedestrian numbers .
  7. I agree that our offense scores enough points to win games but how much is tyrod responsible for the point production? If we didn't have lesean McCoy our point production would be much different. I feel that he is more responsible than tyrod is. For the role tyrod plays I don't feel he's worth the money . His role is pass 18 times a game for 175 yards, don't turn the ball over, scramble for 50, and throw occasional screens and run option plays. Imagine our offense with an added passing dimension...he had a good game against Miami but does that erase the several games earlier in the season where he looked like a mobile version of Trent Edwards?
  8. If you are truly drafting bpa and leanord fournette drops to you do you pull the trigger ?
  9. What about someone like venables from Clemson or Chavis from Texas a & m to be dc? I like Lynns offense, I am a little reluctant bc of his association with Rex . We definitely need to bring back Donnie Henderson . I miss the days of bobby April on special teams. I would also draft a kicker, which I think will become much more commonplace in the near future, especially with the nfl placing more emphasis on the kicking game with their rule changes.
  10. Why do we care that Cardale wasn't a full time starter at OSU? Brady didn't start all his games at michigan
  11. Sign Eric berry and draft Corey Davis
  12. dede westbrook reminds me of roscoe
  13. Tyrod should be cut at the end of the year. This would create some cap savings that could allow us to sign someone like eric berry or alshon jeffrey which would fill a vital need. If we sign berry we draft corey davis or mike Williams. If we sign Jeffrey we draft someone like Teez Tabor. Also, in an offensive centric league the qb is the most important position. Cardale would be the perfect play next year. It is a win win situation for the bills. His cap hit is less than a million per year. If we play him and he shows he can be "the guy" then we build around him. If we play him and hes not the guy, we yield a high pick in the 2018 draft which will have many more qb propsects available (Sam Darnold, Lamar Jackson, Josh Rosen, Jake Browning) all of whom should have first round grades. Sign a vet to play behind cardale such as Hoyer or Keenum. Either you have your qb of the future or you yield a high pick in a qb heavy draft in 2018.
  14. this topic is laughable
  15. rex ryan goes, Whaley stays
  16. PJ Fleck, Cardale (if he doesn't pan out it will result in high draft pick following year) Eric Berry
  17. Corey Davis is a better prospect than williams
  18. if tyrod could manage a game he wouldn't have pulled a disappearing act being up by 15 half way through the 3rd quarter. I know the defense rolled over but going 3and out three straight times, throwing a pick and fumbling puts the defense in a tough spot.
  19. Gary Patterson, David Shaw, Brian Kelly, Chris Peterson, Brett Beliema, PJ Fleck
  20. There has been some varying opinions on where Deshaun Watson will go in the draft. How much would a poor showing on the national stage affect his draft stock? If he drops to us should we pull the trigger?
  21. Going defense high in the draft would be a mistake in 2017. There are plenty of UFA Safety options Including Berry, Conte, N. Allen, J. Addae, B. McDougald (Who would all be upgrades over who we have now). Do we let Gilmore walk and sign a cheaper option like DJ Hayden or Dre Kirkpatrick...idk. But in the first round I would take Mike Williams, unless Deshaun Watson Drops
  22. It is not Tyrod's lack of accuracy that bothers me most. It is his unwillingness to take risks. There was one specific play yesterday where sammy was on the right side of the field and completely beat his defender but Tyrod never even looked in his direction. Why isnt he going through his progressions. He makes should-be simple catches into acrobatic affairs (a la the dump off to shady that he had to make a spectacular one handed catch). His receivers are beginning to not believe in him. It is evident in their body language. It does not matter who our receivers are, we can make this assesment on tyrod.
