  1. Accuracy and anticipation are hard to teach. Great qbs have long stretches with little turnover in coaching. Average qb's will always face high turnover
  2. Everyone can concede that the chance of Tyrod being here next year is extremely unlikely. The most dangerous part of Tyrod's game is his mediocrity. My biggest fear is that his final parting gift will be a .500 record. Not only will this lead to a lower first round draft pick, but it will sacrifice an additional first rounder and second rounder at least if we intend to move up to get a franchise quarterback. So we sacrifice half of our haul of picks for the sake of being "competitive" for the 17th year? I'd rather use one 1st rounder on a qb and use the additional 1st and 2nds and 3rds to build a solid foundation of young talent. If that means starting peterman then so be it. At least you can evaluate a player that is part of the "future" in the process and under the highly remote possibility Peterman could be the answer, look at all the ammo you have to build around him. Either scenario is a win win .
  3. I want Peterman to look like Joe Montana
  4. I believe in a franchise quarterback . Give me that over "culture" any day
  5. Some facts from last year I think we are forgetting I think we are overlooking production for potential in regards to players. While we've had some decent talent, availability was always lacking. *Robert Woods only played in 13 games and accumulated 51 rec for 613 yards and only 1 TD *Sammy Watkins played in 8 games with 28 rec and 430 yards for 2 TD *Dareus played 8 games with 3.5 sacks *Shaq Lawson didn't play until week 7 and has looked very promising in camp *Aaron Williams was out thanks to Jarvis Landry by week 7 *Our leading WR's in TD Rec were Justin Hunter with 4 and Goodwin with 3 *Dan Carpenter had a 76% field goal make percentage and 89% Xp *Shady was out 1 game but should have been 2 as he was clearly nursing the hamstring injury *our defense ranked 30th against the run, 21st against the pass, football outsiders ranked our overall defense efficiency at 29th last year.
  6. We will not make any trades with KC this year. Alex smith is not a franchise qb and that's what we desperately need
  7. JJ watt has consistently produced on the field. Sammy has never done that
  8. There was never a more talented receiver than Moss
  9. Well thought out post . Can't say I disagree
  10. Peterman displayed a little zip on some of his throws last night which surprised me a bit. He has made a case to get time with the twos. Don't forgot he had two big drops in the red zone, one of which was a nice rollout on fourth down and an on the money pass to Taiwan jones that went right through his hands. He also had a few passes that were behind receivers. He definitely displayed some poise and control. The best thing for him at this point is to carry a clipboard and get slowly eased into the opportunity to start. I'm honestly surprised we're not talking more about Yarborough than peterman. He started with the 1's and looked like he belonged. Very impressive considering his path to get to this point.
  11. Yarborough or Dakiel shorts
  12. Really thought his comments were spot on. Brought up the fact that Alabama would be different team if they raised SAT requirements. Good chance he could be in a bills uni next year which adds extra relevance. http://www.espn.com/college-football/story/_/id/20284353/josh-rosen-ucla-bruins-says-football-school-go-together-ponders-alabama-success-sat-requirement-raised
  13. I may have put falcons at #1, however can't see any fault in Pitt rated high . I think rothlesberger is beginning to fade slightly . I think pats should be rated in top 3 (assuming healthy)
  14. No possible way Ragland is cut or traded . You would at least want to see a high round pick in real live NFL action before making any permanent decisions .
  15. would be a solid depth signing behind charles clay
  16. I wouldn't mind Dede westbrook

  18. does this mean anything on the Zach Brown front?
  19. In an NFL draft that is deep with running back and cornerback talent, this trade might make sense for both parties. Seattle may not get the value they are looking for with a Sherman trade with such a deep draft class. Mccoy is 28 years old and still posting big time numbers in the running game. He is under contract until 2019 with a base salary of roughly 6 million and a cap number of around 9 million per year. Sherman (also 28 years old) is under contract until 2018 with a base guaranteed salary of roughly 11 million and cap hit of 13 million. As part of the trade, perhaps Sherman would need to agree to an extension. Although McCoy would be a significant loss, I think Gillislee would be capable behind our pretty solid O line. This is a draft deep with running back talent so a rb could be drafted in the later rounds to compliment gillislee (Someone like Marlon Mack or Samaje Perine). Seattle recently signed Eddy Lacy, but McCoy would be a deadly weapon in the seattle offense especially with his ability to catch the ball. The acquisition of Sherman would solidify our secondary and add some much needed grittiness to our defense.
  20. Per @Cover1Bills via Bleacher Report
  21. Why would Cleveland agree to this
  22. Per Vic carucci Whaley is in favor of starting Cardale Jones next season
