  1. For many fans winning is not enough. It's only good if your team destroys, humiliates or murders the other side. Mahomes has played an almost perfect game. A win is a win is a win. He's not putting his teammates in a position to get injured in a game that is not in question against a radically inferior opponent.
  2. Maybe he's not buying the 15 yard penalty on a 100% clean hit. They needed help to get those points. The fix is in . . .
  3. That's 7 points for the refs.
  4. 2 points IMHO 1: KC is giving about 75% effort. There's no need to put the pedal to the metal. Why beat them out 50-0? When 18-0 counts the same? It's smart. Why go all out? Denver does not stand a chance against them. 2: Russell Wilson is Trent Edwards level bad.
  5. Perfectly predictable??? Which part of the prediction is perfect?
  6. You must have loved that opening drive.
  7. In the pre-game show on NFL network, Steve Smith Sr. was talking about how BADLY coached Jack Del Rio secondaries tend to be . . . . . very frank. It seems he knows what he's talking about.
  8. Tempting to put money on Washington for this one . . . it seems like the wheels are falling off in Chicago. . . but these Thursday night games . . . they are too unpredictable
  9. What is the Jags' color combo gonna be?
  10. I don't know who this guy is. But he has low IQ, low EQ, and a low football IQ. It amazes me how many "journalists" who cover the sport have absolutely have no feel for the game at all. My wife's opinion (she doesn't know anything about the game) is more interesting than what this hack is spewing out on his Twitter. These hacks broadcast their opinions which are totally wrong, and then have no awareness of their own fecklessness and point the fingers at others. Edit referring to that other tweet by that guy "Sal." Sorry I don't know how to use this software very well.
  11. Who is doing color for this game? He refuses to criticize the Rams at all. He's afraid to say anything negative. He keeps talking up Stafford, who is having a miserable outing. One gem: "Nacua is the guy who got them to this point. They've got to get him involved." Dude has played in two NFL games. Is the best THE WORLDWIDE LEADER IN SPORTS can do?
  12. I am shocked at how bad the Rams are. They can't do anything at all. They will be competing with the Bears for the top pick. Bengals didn't need Burrow for this one. Nathan Peterman could have led them to victory. Put Mixon under center and run it every play. Stick a fork in the Rams—miserably bad.
  13. I'm curious, does anyone know McDermott's record on grass compared to turf? I am also wondering how the offense has fared on this point. Any football stat gurus out there? Washington plays on grass, right?
  14. Biased, not bias. Bias is a noun. The levels of irony here are astounding.
  15. In my opinion, this is the most interesting discussion on the forum right now. Josh has the physical and the mental. But does he have the psychological element needed? Can this be taught? Who is going to teach it?
  16. If it the football goes through the uprights it's a great kick. If it misses, it's a terrible kick. It's pretty black and white. Aside from that, McDermott should be on the hot seat. If you're not getting better, you're getting worse. What's his plan for team to get better?
  17. Agreed, 100%. With a coach like Reid, or Sean Payton, Allen would win multiple super bowls over his career. Without a doubt he is talented enough, but he has to do it ALL on his own. But Pegula won't fire McDermott because he's a "strong Christian man" which is what he wrote in the statement explaining his contract extension. It seems his Christianity is the reason he'll be here forever.
  18. Leodis McKelvin! Fumbling away the game fighting for an extra yard: yes—that was worse. But nobody thought the Bills were good then. They lacked talent all around. Now, the expectations are high and they can't live up to them.
  19. Fire Dorsey NOW. He has no feel for the game and has consistently proven to be unable to make adjustments in-game. McDermott is holding this team back. Young QBs need good coaching, and Allen doesn't have it. McDermott is ultimately responsible for bringing in an offensive coach who can manage the game well and confuse and compete with good defenses. Dorsey is a S__T SHOW. Why is he here? How is he qualified?
  20. Maybe Dorsey should be coaching HS football. What has he done? Who has he coached? Why is he qualified to work with Allen? Bring in a real coach.
  21. True. And what's wild too (instant replay was in its early stages) was how bad some of the camera angles were in 1990. They often couldn't get the calls right on replay because the camera views were not sharp. That aspect has improved a lot with the high def cameras. Now, we almost always have a great shot.
  22. The officiating is atrocious. Wow. McKeller had a TD that he didn't get credit for. Refs called a TD when the ball had clearly bounced off the ground (which I saw even in this grainy feed). Lofton had a ghost PI called against him. "Pass interference 81" Mark Kelso had a vicious headshot!!! for which he would be ejected in 2023. (rightfully, he knocked the receiver out, who was clearly dazed, announcers "oh yeah he's clearly OK." "injury update: "MILD CONCUSSION, MIGHT RETURN" Toon had a beautiful catch which was called not a catch. All in the first quarter.
  23. Good idea. While were at it why not kick the tires of Donovan McNabb or Daunte Culpepper . . . Randall Cunningham maybe?
  24. It was after the INT at 3.07 in the first Q. On the international DAZN feed.
  25. Yes. I joined in 2009, waiting for this very moment. TBH, I have no idea who Will Grier is ..
