  1. Trevor Lawrence on Jags: “We suck right now” Can’t remember Josh Allen ever making comments like this.
  2. Watched Browns @ Jags so you don’t have to. 😂 Here’s a scouting report… for what it’s worth… Mostly cloudy day, meaning Cleveland lucked out not having to experience intense sun in dark unis. Spotty rain was falling from the second Q onward. Jags had trouble sustaining drives. Not a great third down conversion team. Gabe Davis does not get separation. He’s not fast. Lawrence found him a few times, but he’s not someone having a big impact on the passing game. Mack Hollins may be an upgrade because he plays special teams and can also run block, which everyone told me was Gabe’s best asset. I’m so tired of hearing analysts say “Bills don’t have Gabe Davis.” So what? He’s irrelevant —perhaps a weak link for the Jags’ offense. Had he never played with Josh Allen nobody would have ever heard of him. Trevor Lawrence didn’t do much to impress. He’s a VET qb who takes what the D gives him. He nearly threw a pick 6 in the second Q and got lucky. Following play, he had the longest run of his career for 33 yards. Settled for a field goal after an incompletion in the end zone intended for Davis. Jags O is definitely not firing on all cylinders… it was a home game for them but they struggled to find a rhythm. Had some momentum in the second half with two scoring drives. Had a TD taken off the board because of an illegal shift. Settled for a FG. The exception was the long bomb (66 yards) to Brian Thomas Jr, which came late in the third. It was a one-on-one win for the rookie. Two plays later Etienne ran it in for a short TD, their only one on the day. Jags do have a pass rush. Bills need to try to stay out of third and long situations. I focused less on Cleveland as we don’t play them.. but… Cleveland had a 16 play TD drive in the first Q, kept alive by a BS roughing the passer in which Watson literally wasn’t even touched. Even if the defender doesn’t touch the QB… he might get a personal foul for moving too aggressively toward the QB. Embarrassing. Watson drew ANOTHER BS roughing call in the second half with an acting job. Overall, Watson didn’t make any big mistakes. Stefanski called a good game for a team that must have been feeling the heat after the abysmal performance the previous week. Jerry Jeudy is a stud and will make plays when given the opportunity. Wasted talent with mediocre QB. Finally, Jim Schwartz still knows how to coach D. Amazingly, it looks like he hasn’t aged a day since leaving Buffalo all those years ago. Boring game overall. Two total TDs. Awful officiating. Neither club strikes me as playoff caliber.
  3. Caleb took a beating tonight. Good god!
  4. Caleb Williams may be good one day. Not sure if it’s with this coaching staff. Collinsworth won’t criticize him though. Only Josh can make reckless throws. Everyone else is “gutsy” when they turn the ball over.
  5. These other kickers look confident when they go out there to drill 65 yarders like nobody’s business. Bass reminds me of a scared little child. He’s a lesser boy amongst Men.
  6. Brutal coaching decisions from Eberflus. Embarrassing.
  7. Every kicker except ours seems to be automatic from 65 yards and under…
  8. It was fourth and 16. Game was on the line. The officials handed them the W.
  9. Chase is a maniac. Too much. He almost hit the ref.
  10. Is Burrow gonna get criticized for being totally reckless with that turnover??
  11. I’m not worried about a trap at home on Monday night football against an opponent they know well early in the season with extra time to prepare. The game at Seattle later on in the season would worry me more… tough road trip against a team you rarely play… Looking for a complete performance against the JAGS.
  12. Miami is overrated and overhyped because… Miami. It has nothing to do with objective analysis of football. Could you imagine if James Cook played for the Dolphins? They’d be putting him in the Hall of Fame. He’d already have his own nationally syndicated cooking show with Gordon Ramsey…
  13. The game in London was garbage. That was when Dorsey was at the peak of his professional incompetence. This time around Buffalo’s coaches will enjoy the extra time to prepare. I’m looking forward to a knockout.
  14. JAGS O sh*t the bed in the second half against the Dolphins. They didn’t move the ball at all in the fourth Q. Two desperate teams (BROWNS vs JAGS)… but my money is on the home team with the hot weather advantage.
  15. Give him another 500 million…
  16. Third stringers are shutting down the league’s highest scoring O. not every game is gonna be 55-3. Even then, there would be fans bitching about giving up 3 points and not scoring 62
  17. Watched the replay of Dolphins x Jags. My impressions: Tua is not as good as Kyler Murray at escaping pressure. Not as fast. Easier to sack. Dolphins offense struggled to get into rhythm. Still, they had a couple of big hitters. They can still put up points even if they are not in sync most of the time. They finished strong. As others have pointed out, the third Q Etienne fumble was a massive momentum swing. Tua hit Tyreek for an 80 yarder on the very next possession! 14 point swing. Bam. Poyer is still Poyer. What a physical warrior! Wouldn’t want to be tackled by him. Will the Bills be able to run against Miami? Etienne couldn’t much of the time. He struggled. He couldn’t convert on a fourth and one. Bigsby averaged a solid 6.1 ypc . Overall JAX averaged 4.9 ypc. IMO Miami will probably hit on a few big plays (as they always seem to do) but in the end Thursday will be decided by who controls the line of scrimmage better. Miami finished strong while JAX did the opposite. JAX offense came up completely empty in the fourth Q.
  18. I’m totally ready to see Gore Jr. Give him a few plays. Dude has Hall of Fame DNA. Don’t underestimate a dude who had 329 yards in a college Bowl game!
  19. I would love to expect high standards from cops. In the same way I expect high standards from all humans. 😂
  20. D̶r̶e̶w̶ ̶=̶D̶r̶e̶w̶ ̶R̶o̶s̶e̶n̶h̶a̶u̶s̶ Drew = Drew Miami’s security dude
  21. And yet some idiot on GMFB picked him to win MVP.
  22. I essentially agree with this. If I were the cop… I’d say something like… “ Hey man I’m a big fan but I’m gonna have to cite you. You can’t drive so recklessly with pedestrians around.” And if he’s a dick back to me… oh well. That’s the reality of the world. Power trip cop meets entitled superstar. Both are to blame in human terms. Legally speaking? I’m too bored to look closely at the nuances of the law.
  23. I agree. But it’s not smart nor strategic when dealing with law enforcement during a traffic stop. I know from experience. When I was younger I was a dick to an officer for an open container violation. It caused me a massive headache and I learned my lesson. But you’re right. It’s our protected god-given constitutional right to be a massive dick whenever we want. Perhaps not a good life strategy though. Especially when dealing with judges and cops etc.
  24. No one in this situation saw the incentive or value to be the one to deescalate. If Tyreek had treated the officer with an ounce of respect nothing excessive would have happened. In the end it’s two “alphas” puffing out their chests. In any case, Tyreek is neither a hero nor a victim. Being a dick to officers is a horrible strategy in any case …
