But how can you expect somebody to be in true peak game shape when they will be coming off a 3 month layoff. On top of that it’s a pretty serious foot injury and last time I checked that’s a pretty big deal for a RB. At the least he’ll definitely be rusty and not 100%.
As much as I loved Jim as a QB he was awful in his brief stint as a color commentator for NBC back in ‘97. As I am accustomed to doing I like to find an old game against the Bills upcoming opponent and I stumbled upon the big comeback win for the Bills vs the Colts.
The Jags played on Thursday night so no he doesn’t have a game tomorrow. He still has a home in the north Columbus area. I actually live pretty close to him and have seen him out several times
Is it just me or does Star seem to be more active, more noticeable and even a little faster this season? I know his numbers don’t jump off the page, they never will, but I just feel like he’s making more of an impact compared to past seasons. Thoughts?
2004 week 1 vs Jacksonville: this was my first semester of college. Me and my Bills fan buddy were able to find a Damon’s down the street that was showing the game. We were clearly the better team all game and had no business losing that game. Jacksonville scored a TD on 4th and goal with no time left on a pass to the back of the end zone on a triple covered Ernest Wilford. He actually only got 1 foot down but at the time the “force out” rule was still in play and he was ruled in bounds. A heart breaking loss and with this win we would’ve made the playoffs and the drought never happens
Literally watched some of this video yesterday and this one really hurt.
Even with that win and a win over the jets their playoff hopes were incredibly slim at best. Less than 1% even with win over the dolphins and Jets. Game really in terms of standings and the playoffs didn’t matter
