Buffalo rumblings article made it sound like that we would be eliminated with next Baltimore AFC win but if they lose all three AFC games and only beat Tampa that we could win 3 way tiebreaker with them somehow
So we currently stand at 4-7, 3-5 in the AFC
We are 2 games behind Ravens and Colts and 1 game behind Dolphins, Bengals, Broncos, Titans.
Do we still have a chance? Still thinking 9-7 with 7-5 AFC record could sneak us.
Already 3 catches for 50 yards in first half which is more catches and yards than he has all season. Being showcased for a trade, perhaps? Is he worth a look?
Competent doesn’t mean good it means at least capable of scoring around 20 points points a game and not being ranked in the bottom 5 of the league in every major category. Now we’ve become one of the worst offenses of all time, DUDE.
No not at all. Completely destroyed a competent offense literally overnight and gave the most important person in the organization no weapons and no vet QB to learn from, forcing him to play way before he was ready.

Be nice if he misses game vs bills next week as well.
Because he was drafted by McBeane and coaches/GMs never want to admit their mistakes on drafting, even for 5th rd QBs. That's why they've given him every possibility to succeed
I don't remember much from the 09 season but I do remember how we had a golden opportunity to win at NE in week 1 and get that season off to a great start. Instead we blew an 11 point lead with 4 min left and the rest is history....
Yea a lot of the QB position truly is about what you have between the ears. Our college coaches were honestly not very concerned with how often we hit the gym and ran wind sprints but rather how well we understood defenses and could make split second decisions after the snap. It's a very very hard thing to learn to throw to a "spot" rather than to what you perceive as an open receiver. Your timing in the offense and your understanding of what the defense is doing, all while trying to disguise and trick you, is what makes a QB look accurate and in sync. Some accuracy is natural throwing ability as well but more of it comes from how well you mentally understand the game.
Game didn't actually go to OT. Parrish muffed a punt inside our own 20 yard line with under 2 minutes left and Cleveland ran the clock down and kicked a FG with seconds remaining. Either way, a sad sad sad game.
