    Or maybe he was just a good backup who could be a decent spot starter similar to a Ryan Fitzpatrick. Just find it hard to believe that in 15 years every NFL team would not recognize his starting potential at some point.

    Then why did Collins never become a starter anywhere else aside from a short stint in Washington at the very end of his career? If he really was something decent he would of caught on somewhere else at some point and been a viable starter

    I remember back in those days watching football with the score hardly ever shown on the screen, no yellow first down line and super corny graphics.

    I’ve missed 4 baptisms, 3 weddings, 2 funerals and a partridge in a pear tree all so I wouldn’t miss a Bills game. One or two were even just preseason games

    That jaguars team ended up going to AFC champ game so they were no slouch

    That only tied it up in early 4th quarter. We still had plenty of time to win. We didn’t take Jacksonville serious that day and we paid for it simple enough.

    Quick out to Jimmy Smith that sealed the game? Todd Collins, subbing in for injured Jim Kelly, got sacked and fumbled from own 30 yard line with seconds left that sealed the game. Jacksonville took a knee on next play and officially ended the game.

    Had replay been around back then Jim Kelly’s late fumble, in which he was obviously down with both knees before the fumble, would’ve been overturned and the Bills may end up winning that game and who knows past that. Many people that season had them pegged as a possible Super Bowl contender. So Replay hasn’t been all bad

    The sad part is we could have two extra receivers running wild and with how bad our O-line is we still wouldn’t get much more production on offense lol

    My buddy is a huge bears fan and I was just telling him the exact same thing the other day. Lots of similarities between both teams if you compare bears team of last year to this years bills team and what appears to be on the horizon for the Bills.

    Couldn’t scan the field, terrible accuracy(don’t care what stats say he threw tons of checkdowns to boost %), not a natural thrower, terrible pocket presence. Allen, with much less to work with, already looks light years ahead of EJ after 1st year using the eye test

    He’s clearly trending down and showing signs of age and decline. You don’t magicaly get better at age 42, 43, etc....
