CardinalScotts replied to Wayne Fontes's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Collins "played" 16 seasons Rob played 8 - I remember him going to tampa then i thought he was out of the league, Trent Edwards reminded me of Rob -

Bills should trade for Josh Freeman of the Bucs
CardinalScotts replied to 17 Josh Allen's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Because head coaches like to get "their guy" Freeman is in his fourth year, they need more than an 81.6 rating coming off a 74.9. He should be a lot better than he is 11 of 16 his completion percentage in under 58 ? yikes. With Doug Martin as a good running game with Vincent Jackson and Mike Williams as wide outs and his offensive line is really good. They are not thrilled with Freeman and I would be either. WAY WAY WAY to inconsistent http://www.bucsnation.com/2013/1/2/3827218/buccaneers-quarterback-competition-josh-freeman http://profootballtalk.nbcsports.com/2012/12/31/greg-schiano-i-need-to-evaluate-josh-freeman/ http://www.bucsnation.com/2012/12/13/3763694/josh-freeman-quarterback-future-draft-buccaneers -

Buddy Nix and addressing the QB position
CardinalScotts replied to PromoTheRobot's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
And what does Washington have ? An injury prone running quarterback who will never play a 16 games season and that's at 22 what happens at 25-26 and later when the legs leave him. Going into next season do you think Shanahan is thinking we got the franchise QB in place coming off ACL surgery. He is fun to watch and he did make a huge difference - nice year now what? (hit reset). Defensively they also had a descent team but 6 starters will be 30 or over next year including the entire secondary -
Ya Campbell he'll fix things, keep Fitzpatrick and add another target for him

Buddy Nix and addressing the QB position
CardinalScotts replied to PromoTheRobot's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
you not looking at the holes this roster had....again the only reason he ended up in San Fran was they don't have the lack of talent Buffalo does- so they take a flyer on Kaepernick if it doesntr work no one cares or remembers. Not fair -
Buddy Nix and addressing the QB position

Lets look at the QB drafts the last three years since Nix has been here: 2010: 1st round Bradford - hardly has staked his claim as St. Louis has their quarterback Tebow 2nd round Clausen - bust 3rd round McCoy - woops 4th round Mike Kafaka 5th round John Skilton Jonathon Crompton 6th round Rusty Smith Dan LeFevour Joe Webb Tony Pike 7th round Levi Brown Sean Confield Zac Robinson who from that pile of crap was Buddy suppose to turn into a franchise guy ? Tebow is the second most successful of the group 2011: 1st round Cam Newton Jake Locker Christian Ponder -all three have still not answered the quarterback of the future questions 2nd round Andy Dalton - I actually like Dalton but you have to build a team around him, with an armada defense Colin Kaepernick - might have something, then again he could be a 22 td 16 interception guy in 3 yrs who doesn't run anymore. Although I like him he's played 8 regular season games. 49ers taking him at no risk already had Alex Smith if he flames out no one notices, on a talented team with few holes a luxury pick that might work out. 3rd round Ryan Mallet - as they say with back ups - he's great unless you have to play him 5th round Ricky Stanzi TJ Yates Nathan Enderle 7th round Greg McElroy another year full of franchise quarterback we didn't take 2012: 1st round Andrew Luck Robert Griffin Ryan Tannehill 2nd round Brandon Weeden Osweiler 3rd round Russell Wilson Nick Foles 4th round Kirk Cousins 6th round Ryan Lindley 7th round BJ Coleman Chandler Harnish no chance to get luck or RG III, Tannehill is a maybe, Weeden will be 30 next year, Russell Wilson is possible he's fun to watch but they win with Lynch and D. Wilson was under the 200 yard passing barrier 9 times, Cousins is almost up to 50 attempts and some have seen enough so three years in we have Luck RG III, Bradford we had virtually no chance to get and a pile of crap after that which is why 95% of the league is looking for a quarterback. 2009 you had Stafford, Sanchez, Freeman, Pat White, Stephen McGee, Rhett Bomar, Nate Davis, Mike Teel, Keith Null, Jason McCourty- - - stafford if your judging by fantasy he lead the league in attempts by 100 but more teams hoping and finding out nope -

Pro Bowl Bills - Spiller, Williams, Byrd
CardinalScotts replied to qblax16's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
despite the injury Kyle Williams still had a great year - deserves to be there -
He's a hard hitting safety great against the run, liability in pass coverage and can't cover a TE to save his life. The coverage problem is why KC gave up on him and then drafted another poor coverage against the TE guy good against the run in Berry. - chiefs being the chiefs

If you could cherry pick any 2 NFL players.

Rodgers and Calvin Johnson -
Eagles special teams sucked last year at or near the league low in every category and I know he can coach- so those who rip on the Bills hire of Danny Crossman because the Lions sucked on special teams take a look at the Eagles. Good players = good coach Bad players = bad coach. I didn't like Chan's use of CJ Spiller but we sit on here and complain how bad our wideouts are and the quarterback play with three starting lineman most of the season yet whine why Chan can score more. You can't have it both ways either it's short on coaching or short on players. Although I like the direction the Bills are taking we are short on players.

Found the guy hired him...now we'll see

whats sad is almost any name you throw out there you think ya maybe - ha. McGee for sure Barnett Kelsay George Wilson Choice Sheppard has some ability, just lost in the scheme Scott does Pettine have room for a tweener Aaron Williams will not be cut because I think they are going to move him to safety and I'll think he'll be great at it Fitzpatrick will stay - get him a #2 wr allow Nelson and Graham to work from the slot making Jones a very good #5
