  1. and he has terrible hands, but I'd be willing to take a flyer- he's 10.9 average per catch is a little bit of a worry for such a monster (chandler 13.3) and he's a bit of a bad apple, with Chandler out injured we have no tight end
  2. prior to NIx we were not very good and old with no players to build on, now we are younger not very good but have building blocks to build on from. We focus too much on winning right away this was a five year build from the start. This franchise QB that should be in place WHO exactly 2009 Stafford who isnt a franchise qb and Freeman who tampa is questioning moving forward all the rest are out of the league. 2010 Bradford - is he a franshise qb ? then you had Tebow, Clausen, McCoy Skelton- where is your franchise guy there ? - the other eight are out of the league. 2011 Cam Newton 1 over all- might be something....maybe, Dalton is okay but type of guy you better have a spanish armada defense to win with, and Kaepernick who could turn into a great player on a loaded team. Gabbert, Ponder, Locker again I ask anyone saying franchise QB? 2012 Luck, RG III - going 1,2 in the draft look very promising especially Luck, Tannehill very early looks possibly okay. Russel Wilson also looks like he might be something after year 1....maybe So the franchise QB were suppose to grab one of the 4 available in the last 4 drafts ? really ? while filling the roster with talented players at other positions oh and win while doing it....again five year build not 3. Kelsay was a solid player we wanted to be the next Bruce Smith - that as never his game but we had no play makers on the D-line so he was the target.
  3. he is an offensive guard, I hope we sign him but it's easiest postion to fill on a football team
  4. there is so much more that goes into playing QB- I will say it's hard to beat Ryan's weapons to throw to
  5. I'm honestly amazed anyone said LeVitre - you can't find a guard, a failed center, a failed tackle to stick at Guard ? Ball Hawking safeties are hard to find and when you have one you keep him.
  6. versus all the moves that did work- which is why he IS still employed
  7. Look at other QB's Jets - hate sanchez want him out, Browns- now do not like Weeden, Jags- want some one else Tennessee- do not like Locker, Texans hate Schaub, Raiders trapped with Carson Palmer, Chiefs- anyone but Cassell. Cowboys- don't want to extend Romo, Eagles- searching, Bears- stuck wit Cutler, Vikings would like to change from Christian Ponder, Tampa Bay- HUGE questions on Freeman, Rams -still waiting on Bradford - year 4 coming up never better than his rookie year, Cardinals - have no one, Chargers- do you believe in Rivers ?, Lions- Stafford great arm he used it to throw the football the most in the league and 334 more times than RG III, Buffalo- anyone other than Fitzpatrick- that is half the league at least looking or questions their QB. Without getting into the long term success of RGIII or Russel Wilson discussion then there is Carolina Cam ? big season for him in 2013 Brady will be 36 next year, Manning turns 37 next month a lot of teams looking and hoping this is why QB's get pushed up the draft board the last 6 drafts you really have to stretch into liking guys like Josh Freeman at #17 over all. A career passer rating under 80 and a completion percentage at 58 - I would expect and want more. Weeden 22 last year already done, Locker, Gabbert, Ponder all first round picks that their respective teams would all like to bail on. Bradford in 2010 as pick 1/1 not exactly making the rams think we have our QB the next three qb taken didnt work either Tebow, Claussen, McCoy. Stafford has a great arm, a great wideout, a good wideout and a couple descent pass receiving tight ends but safe to say they are also disappointed 3 years in, Sanchez at the #5 - I think we all agree, then you have your Josh Freeman then Pat White ? 2008 saw Ryan go 3, Flacco 18 try Brohm at 56 or Henne at 57. 2007 JaMarcus Russell 1/1, Brady Quinn another first rounder, Kevin Kolb probably the class of this qb draft with John Beck and Drew Stanton behind him. The point is many more misses than hits and that's counting Luck RGIII and Tannehill in the good pile after 1 year
  8. my gad Brady yor gonna be 36 time to call it quits
  9. your the guy that has their qb and any other move is a terrible we have a quarterback - just no weapons to throw to. Graham has shown little to nothing....Nelson and Jones will be out of the league along with Ruvell Martin and Brad Smith might join them. Wow what a set a wide outs to work with- whats the problem? Ya its the QB
  10. but the qb was the problem remember - I've been posting here for three years our wideouts as a group would rank 32nd - lower if they could
  11. Nelson's mismatch is against LB's near the endzone, he can't get open certainly on the 1-2 corner he showed that in 2011 and has a lot of trouble against the 3-4 as well. His biggest skill is that he is 6 foot 5
  12. any time you can put a new coat of paint on things you want to show and tell people...never know word of mouth travels fast if they can shake the same old bills label it cant do anything but help
  13. Williams is a hitter and a hole filler thats why he a candidate for strong safety his coverage skills left him last year, I would love to see them make the move it makes too much sense
  14. your nowhere until you can stop the other team, you can't try to "outscore" the opponent 52-48 every week
  15. if they did (which they won't) you would be here demanding they should be winner on here in September
  16. most people realize outside of Johnson we had borderline nfl backups to throw to give a guy (who ever it is) actual nfl players to throw to and if your willing as the new head coach to roll with Fitzpatrick then it's on you. 31st ranked D and we focus on the QB -
  17. hope they sign both but you cant tag LeVitre he's a guard
  18. unless Barkely sucks then your all fired inside 3 years and we do it all over again
  19. so who steps in at quarterback and WINS - I keep Fitzpatrick especially if we give some some wide outs to throw to
  20. holy crap man - time for your meds
  21. and kaepernick was a 3rd round pick the 49ers werent completly sold, signing alex smith to an extension
  22. ya never to play again
