came into a team that went 2-11 started as a freshman, your not getting out of there with any type of nice looking record. Again QB takes too much blame and gets too much credit.
it really is a great time to "get good" even the best team have big problems. Remember a10-6 record for Baltimore and you can look back at alot of narrow wins. 31-30 over pats 10-9 over chiefs 13-10 over pitt 16-13ot over chargers. Finding AFC teams that will win 10 or more is hard to do on paper this year. For Buffalo just win anyway you can in September you don't have to look good.
Great story, what we all strive to be - a good dad. My father is also why I'm a die hard Bills fan and he's getting up there in years he seems to remember those games in the 60's better than last season. We would always go to camp as a kid and it lit a fire that has never gone out. It's never a good time to lose a parent hang in there.
pretty good kicker(his numbers back it up, in a place that can be hard to kick in) who played for bad team- not his fault. If we had a good 10 year run he would be looked upon as a great kicker
1) another corner besides Gilmore- McKelvin is okay especially inside but we have little depth for nickle or dime
2) safety Searcy- holy crap, I thought we could get away without Byrd via scheme but I don't think so anymore. Williams is very valuable , good hitter at safety with some cover skills
3) TJ Graham and Stevie neither has played in a preseason game and now with Manuel down- no chance for timing to come together, I think this is bigger than we think
4) Punting the football - Powell is the picture of inconsistent - he might hit it 60 or 16
frustrated his team looked sloppy again and is starting to realize wow Ponder can't do it, hoping Cassel can. Seems like a good dude but after back to back 3-13 seasons they jumped to 10-6 more a product of their schedule, I think they will struggle again this year they haven't arrived.
another one of Fitzpatrick's "weapons" ala Ruvell Martin, Hagan, Nelson, Jones, Naaman- of the team and out of football. Lee Smith won't be sticking either. Choice good dude but your out too. Not starting a Fitz post, just looking back ha no chance
just to keep the locker room you can't go two rookies at qb in the starter and back up role. Tuel as third string absolutely and I like what i've seen and heard on him but Kolb is a lock for #2
