way too many variables, the classic example is Elway at his best he couldnt win it - but handing off he could. Was a great quarterback but not because Terrell Davis showed up
As Boomer Esiason said when it happened you dont throw your flag there that's a horrible call. But when there LB dropped Chandler out of bounds after the play - nothing called THAT'S the problem no one knows what they are calling. The officials are horrible every week and nearly every game it's really taken the fun out of the game
The guy has done a tremendous job and in my opinion he knows how to lead a football team. There are not many guys who can keep a team competitive every week and deal with no secondary and work on your third quarterback. What they have had to over come in only six games the job he's done is UNDERATED X10. Like it or not they are improving , nobody has them as a playoff team this year but to ignore how they play or just focus on winning is short sighted ignorance. I like the call to go for it today it shows attitude we haven't had around here in 15 years. Jauron and Chan certainly kick it but we also played intimidated under those guys.
this was a terrible game as far as the referees the Kyle Williams penalty as Boomer Esiason put it "you don't call that" the stripes also didnt flag Benard on the same play
Bengals 58 Rey Maualuga dropping chandler out of bounds after the play, simple penalty never called it. The pass interference again with Boomer and Wilcots "how is this not pass interference"I could list out another 12 "episodes" in the second half alone. Again these are comments from the broadcast not a bills homer watching the game.
As far as Hogan he made no contributions when given a chance to play, another example of preseason player
we ask for a competitive team, then once we get that we skip ahead to winning. It's a rookie headcoach, coordinator and quarterback slow down- they play hard and are competitive support them.
holy crap are you kidding ? Howard is among the worst show host Ive ever heard for anything TV, Radio, Sports, Non sports. I'd take Sal, Brad Riter, Jeremy is good
he's a rookie has his up and downs but their game plan is run it then when they do throw it air it out. Not too much reading defense etc, easy pass to throw run under it
they match up on defense pretty well, now what the hell do we do when we have the ball
one week doesnt carry into the next, when the bengals lost to the browns everyone said they have no shot against ne
I really like how they are bring EJ along I thought all along it's going to take 8-9 games before he has total command. Luck after 5 games was 2-3 as well with 7 picks, I think EJ is going to be very good but needs help from more than Woods, SJ cant stay on the field, Graham can't get open or catch when given the opportunity and Chandler is 6-7 but plays like he's 5-10. Chandler should be a big target but constantly defended by someone under 6-0
