You have to play complimentary football - like the Saints have figured out. For 9 straight years the Saints threw it at least 625 times per season. Put up some points especially against the bad teams but hung the defense out to dry with short possessions/ turnovers. They didn't always have bad defense during the Drew Brees era, yes many years they ranked low 32-31-31-28-26 but also had 10-13-7-8-10-13 several of these years they could have helped the defense by playing complimentary football. The last two years they have stopped trying to set records and make the Super Bowl played smarter pass attempts way way down 536 in 2017 489 in 2018 but everyone still thinks they air it out 50 times a game. around the nfl its a lot of the same guys same coordinators talented players why is it time Buffalo's coaches slow him down enough. I agree with the -- I don't think we fully understand how good he was and the most important time of the game the 4th quarter first half- tough breaks, drop passes turning into interceptions, deflected interceptions, o line getting whipped a bit, terrible field position, We need a punt returner not a punt catcher couple bad decision cost us drives and a safety although I think it was a bad call from the ref looking with ball carriers back to him (as in where is the ball, no idea because he cant see it) second half- defense holds us in it, playing under pressure to do something on offense , making big throws on third and long as well as willking to air it out- not afraid. To come up with the win, coming from behind in a hostile site, against a good defense that was ready on opening day. I think is almost a best case scenario- builds confidence and belief right out of the gate. Overall B- Fourth Quarter A+

I just want them to call New England for holding when its holding. Pay attention to patriot games and the difference in penalties. I guess they never hold on offense or defense, never have and illegal shift or line up wrong those are they two biggies that every team has happen except them. the guys who discount culture typically never played athletics. its real yes winning fuels it but winning for a year doesn't build it. There is much more to it and that the part some guys don't get. Being accountable to each other, playing for someone besides yourself- if you don't get there you will only practice and play to what your mood/motivation is that day. If you can get where you play for each other not letting the others down motivates you. Again if you haven't been around athletics at a descent level you won't get it.
