What does the Front Office do now? OC-QB-Oline questions
CardinalScotts replied to San-O's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
we would have fired Payton after he went 7-9 followed by 8-8 before the 13-11-13 and 11 win seasons.....we never let anyone build anything......it's what bad teams do -
How much will it take to keep Hughes?

Im not sure I'd resign hughes....cant or wont set an edge against the run and is pushed up field and run inside of week in and week out. chiefs are letting Hali go after the season -

when you have been eliminated in October most years to still be alive in December is showing improvement. This is a cry baby thread -

ONLY talking about free agency or player trades.....hes brought in Dan Carpenter, Anthony Dixon, Jarius Wynn, Brandon Spikes, Corey Graham, Chris Hogan, Colton Schmidt, Keith Rivers, found Stephan Charles, Marquis Gray, and Kyle Orton as a back up also traded for Jerry Hughes. Mike Williams who was brought in for next to nothing blew up, Chris Williams was ill advised signing. That's a pretty good success rate - as far as the quarterback maybe they missed with EJ but in the last 6 years at qb the draft has produced : best of 2009 - Stafford, Sanchez, Freeman, Pat White 2010- Bradford, Clauson 2011- Andy Dalton, Cam Newton, Jake Locker, Kaepernick? (if anyone still think he's got a future) 2012-Luck, Russell Wilson, Tannehill, RG III? (if anyone thinks he's got a future) so go to 2009 and going forward you could pick any of these guys who made the NFL and take any one of them after Luck maybe you take Russ Wilson but he doesn't come with the smoothering defense and kick ass run game.....Dalton but AJ Green doesnt come with much like Stafford and Calvin Johnson. ........bottom line there are two qb's worth a darn in 6 fricken years....we didnt miss on guys they arent there -

I'm not a Nate Hackett fan nor do I think he's in over his head........how do you judge his job performance in 2 years playing 4 different quarterbacks 3 of them who have never started a game before, an offensive line that is beyond brutal- no offense is designed to execute with the thought process of "at the snap of the ball we won't block a soul" .....my bigger complaint is thinking Pears, and Urbik or Richardson would be fine even Williams who was brought in can't stay healthy. Last comment on Kouandjio the kid JUST turned 21 years old- I think he's going to be a very good offensive lineman, those who think every guy is a plug and play are kidding themselves. Fisher in KC has been less than good and they feel like the need to flip him to the other side and he was a top pick, Joeckel another very high pick can't get on the field. Look around guys -
Officials Massaging the Game Thread
CardinalScotts replied to Storm Front's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
all i ever ask is to be consistent and they aren't ....starts with the Robey phantom penalty on third down no less, continues with the Gilmore 100% completely legal hit also on third down both those drives ended in touchdowns. Those were 2 of the Broncos 3 touchdowns, HUGE calls not to mention not questionable just flat out WRONG. Their discipline is a problem but brutal officiating has been a bigger problem for atleast 6 years. As a sports official myself I pay attention to that maybe a little more than some, also getting some guys run around the field with elite athletes they might want to start hiring guys under 75 years old. just found out it's the kid Bill Leavy 69 years old, the pup of the group -
I have a feeling Marrone has already been told he will be back- and he should be. This dislike for him and someone we have never met is funny, or the Saint Doug comments. He's turning the culture LIKE it or NOT and I really question if some do like it. We seem content to do what we've done for 15 years - season ends fire the coach talk about the draft and then screw up our picks or more importantly screw up our first round pick OMG WE DONT HAVE IT TO SCREW UP

The Possibly Intriguing QB Trade Market

yes and we drop out the NFL and join the NCAA -
Give us your overall impression of Sammy Watkins
CardinalScotts replied to HOUSE's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
tremendous talent, played hurt from ribs to a groin, despite that teams still double and roll their coverage to him. His QB isn't very good......but first and foremost he's 21 and i don't base to much on 3/4 of his first season -
they lived in fear of the pass rush and should have re watch any play and watch the o line especially the interior ........that was depressing. Repeatedly over powered by Terrance knighton he looked like the best player on the field.

2 touchdowns off the ridiculous calls......on third down meaning td does not happen 10-3 changes a hell of a lot

9 Who Should Be On The Way Out .....
CardinalScotts replied to BuffaninATL's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
does it matter Phillbin is in his third year and some bozo's are calling for Marrone before the end of year two that could see us win 10 games???? This board is pathetic I think it's because we dont know what else to do....fire coach look to draft. Again it's what bad teams do fire the coach every 1-2 years can't get anything going and they wonder why it's amazing. THIS bills front office is different Marrone isnt going anywhere he's done a great job and Whaley will be here with him. WAaaaaaaa!!!!! Beckham might be better than Sammy Waaaa!!! I base my opinions of a guys career on a dozen games waaaaa!!!!!! PATHETIC ...stop listening to WGR chiefs were a complete schedule turn around.....facing back up qb one after another....their fans even admit it. Now chiefs might miss playoffs this year......Reid has to GO fire him !! Oh wait again that's what bad teams do...Reid will be fine. -
Who should be the next Bills Offensive Coordinator
CardinalScotts replied to simpleman's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
It wont matter if the offensive line isn't fixed why all the chip kelly stuff...its another offense that beats the truly bad and gets nothing on the good teams..... -
but yet you'll be the first to point to the coaches win-lost record...thats the problem. If we win in late December and not make the playoffs then they are meaningless games. But if you lose those same meaningless games then they matter
