Ok koolaid drinkers. Set us straight.
CardinalScotts replied to TANK2's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
i didnt see anyone having them at 12-4......had guts to fire the o-coord...that was supposed to be the end. Battled hard but in the end the defense was incredibly weak which does fall on Rex. Can not discount how good the offense was even missing all wide outs, and multiple lineman through the year. Tyrod isnt great but he's gotta be brought back because simply better than anything out there. -
Punting on 4th and 3 with 4 mins to go in OT?
CardinalScotts replied to Jerry Jabber's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
if we had a great D there is some logic to it- we don't even have a descent defense. I was a keep Rex guy but not after yesterday to say he had confidence is his defense was ridiculous - how?? He wants it all on him my responsibility and that's what he's going to get. He hired a poor staff over all which made him look even worse (and I don't mean his brother). You have position coaches and frankly they dictate who plays. Gilmore in concussion protocol the the DB's coach to have the next guy up- just saying. -
we want so badly to call guys, franchise or great etc. Wentz has potential but pump the brakes Eagles are 6-9 and have lost 7 of 8

Here's my plan to fix the mess
CardinalScotts replied to Pine Barrens Mafia's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Offense: we can't find a way to get the ball to Watkins can't find a way to get the ball to Clay there aren't enough touches for Gillislee why isn't the offense isn't McCoy right McCoy left McCoy on the reception why does Goodwin have to get his targets we run no crossing patterns everything is a hook where the receiver squares up to the qb, and there is no run after catch Mills is not very good, I like to see them play Kouandjio and move forward with him. Seantrel is looking at a suspension to start the season next year Defense: Hughes and Dareus were "must signs" which they did they both have to be a factor in the game and they are not Our best defensive player is take your pick 33 year old Kyle Williams or 33 year old Lorenzo Alexander Preston Brown can not avoid being taken out with the wash, he's been brutal Zach Brown has worn down as the year has gone on We kept 6 safties and added two more and none of them can play besides Aaron Williams when healthy which hasn't been often We do not have enough scrappers like Robey-Coleman Defensive line depth as far as play makers is thin...have bodies they just don't make plays We seem to be in position on the pass and can't make the play, and there on the run a lot and miss the tackle The only pissed off button we have is when the opponent wants to talk after the play, we'll show we don't like that but not during the play The most disappointing thing when we play a big boy team they dominate in the trenches both sides of the ball. We get pushed around and put on our ass routinely and don't see to mind. Over all its a medicore team 7-9, 8-8, 9-7 that talent wise is better but effort, focus, mentally, emotionally and physically can't beat good teams. So we need ot squeeze more out of the qb position and Tyrod can't give it to us. Not a lot different than the Titans - run game, no much passing, descent defense but +1 for them easier schedule -
When Does Average Become Unacceptable?
CardinalScotts replied to hondo in seattle's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Wilson is a little better than an average quarterback who is asked to score more than 10 to win Buffalo averages 25 pts currently a game In Wilsons career Seattle has given up 24 or more 11 times in 60 games they are 2--9 18% seattle defense gives up 24 or more In Tyrods career Buffalo has given up 24 or more 8 times in 24 games they are 0-8 50% buffalo defense gives up 24 or more In WIlsons career Seattle has given up 17 or less 31 times in 60 games and are 27-3-1 52% of total games defense gives up 17 or less In Tyrod career Buffalo has given up 17 or less 12 times in 24 games and are 10-2 50% of total games defense gives up 17 or less To me they are the same type of quarterbacks, Wilson is better but not by much and is asked to do less. The magic number is on the other side of the ball keep them at 17 or under. If the give up just 10 more points its not good. when the opponent scores 27 or more Wilson is 1-7 when the opponent scores 27 or more Taylor is 0-8 we keep comparing him to the best qb's in the league or frankly ever. Rothlisberger, Brady, Brees how about being a little more realistic -
Russ Brandon and others...

9-7, 8-8, ?-? is not futility - they are at the level of a wild card team right now. Yes I know your a wildcard team when your actually IN I get it, but so much in the NFL is schedule dependent. We act like Whaley's teams have gone 2-14, 3-13, 2-14 they are going to finish 10-6 this year -
12-9: Doug Whaley on WGR
CardinalScotts replied to 26CornerBlitz's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
yes so many other options out there.......such as ______________________. crappy organizations fire there coach two years in....Ralph died. Not the same crappy Bills Organization Rex isnt going anywhere and shouldnt be figured that out now? not only a horrible writer, but a pathetically poor laughable pro personnel man he thinks he is. Sal puts him to shame -
Heck yes he fits our offense but will Tyrod throw it to him. Clay fits our offense but Tyrod can't find him. Likes to target Goodwin 52 targets ? 24 receptions

Buffalo News seems to have had it with Rex Ryan
CardinalScotts replied to Rubes's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
the newpaper writers in this town are brutal covering the Bills and Sabres (but we will save that for another time) and for our enjoyment they are lifers - not one else is going to hire them Tyler Dunne was the best guy they have had in years and he left Gaughan they moved to Buffalo Bulls So your left with Skurski, Vic, Bucky and Jerry -like many others I've stopped reading there articles years ago, again they aren't being pulled away by any other paper or website. They are grudge holding immature little kids who were picked last in gym class and have an axe to grind with everyone Promo put it best stoke reactions from frustrated fans so does WGR negative radio is fairly simple and so are Jeremy and Howard and the two goofs in the afternoon. Guess what they won't be able to leave either because no one would hire them. 1 sports station town mean high ratings, "we're number 1" or last depends how you look at it Tim Graham is a hell of a writer when he sticks to the feel good stories or try to keep a dry eye pieces those I'll read but once he goes into his Bills opinion ha I stop reading. the best part Rex isnt going anywhere -
So if Bills win Steelers game?
CardinalScotts replied to 8-8 Forever?'s topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
do these 3 things seems that unlikely? 1)win out 10-6 2)miami loses to 2 - 1 has to be buffalo then either NE or AZ maybe both -goodbye 3)broncos lose to KC and NE........lookout this weekend Titans might get them Bills are in - Not by a long shot ? WTH are you talking about i think it's likely -
Why Injuries Are Not An Excuse
CardinalScotts replied to BringBackOrton's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
yes it does AND not only how many but who having to play games with Hunter Powell Tate as our wideouts. You need chemistry, and being on the same page this isn't college. Why do you think every team has camp ? It takes time then your breaking in new guys who 1) aren't nearly was talented which is why they were on the waiver wire 2) weren't in camp or played with Tyrod before. I'm not a Tyrod apologist, he misses too many easy NFL quarterback throws, and the inability to use the middle of the field is huge. But I dont think we understand the level of play in the NFL you can't get 3 4 deep on the depth chart and think that shouldn't be a problem. Of course it is - Lastly we have put up 24 or better in 9 of 12 games that should get you better results than 6-6 -

How much rope for TT this week?
CardinalScotts replied to D521646's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Tyrod plays the whole game he needs to continue to get better. Impossible to do if he doens't play and Rex's job is not on the line after 1.5 seasons thats what ****ty organzations do. Bills in 4 in a row why cant we believe the Broncos lose to KC and NE? and Miami loses to NE and Buffalo ? I dont get it -
Its Rex year 3 coming up....and I agree

its my biggest complaint as a Bills fan- we lose games in the trenches were do not have any nasty along the lines. Richie has some but has to watch himself, I'm NOT saying cheap shots but we get pushed around, hit late, hit out of bounds, knocked down way after the play and no one ever does anything or stands up for a teammate. Patriots of course know these more than other teams...Hightower clobbering Chandler and he just picks up what left of his self respect and goes back to the huddle no one ever steps in. I doubt teams have respect for the Bills they know we can push them around. Very frustrating- the one time in recent history was this year game 1 against the Patriots they physically kicked ass game 2 with Brady back who doesn't play along the line of scrimmage patriots were back to pushing the Bills around. Rex's side show press conference etc have zero effect on the game. Something to write about or complain about but it's a zero factor on performance. When we have no wideouts and the season is going down the drain make a move for Curley or Torey Smith. They don't to focused on keeping the 4th round pick- I no idea why. Well we came up short again but we kept our 4th round pick

Teams like Ravens, Steelers, Colts, Packers, Falcons and even the Redskins as well as the Saints, Cardnals, Bengals Chargers all have so called great qb's and their record is the same or +1 over the Bills but we think THOSE teams are good. still have a month to go, get Woods and Watkins back and then run the football see you in the playoffs

I hate to be that guy
CardinalScotts replied to metzelaars_lives's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
ill say it IF they win out they are going to make the playoffs. Chiefs will force the Patriots to play for home field in the final week. Can they win out? 10-6 from the post you would think they are 2-14
