  1. ya its Schobel- Mitchell- Poz - Maybin actually not that bad
  2. obviously your one play away from not having a good RB if Freddie goes down. I would hold on to him for two reasons 1) he's a damn good back when given enough carries 2) Chan will put in a power running game as always and Lynch is the best option to carry the mail. I think Fred is going to be the number two in Chan's offense. Although personally I like Fred better
  3. Guys played 7 years cracked 900 yards once. I say nah
  4. his game day coaching decisions were pivital in not winning more games...the indecision, coaching afraid. The guy is obviously a classy, nice guy but he's a brutal head coach.
  5. Has already said he's probably more suited to a 3-4 than a 4-3 you don't throw double digit sack guys out the door
  6. Jacksonville is taking tebow in round one IMO they have to save the franchise
  7. No one has ever doubted his toughness, but his need to be the star of the game is why they are sitting home. Let the kicker win the game for you - nope not Brett he has to roll right throw left -
  8. I count alot of guys on steroids their accomplishments are greatly shaded- see Mark McGwire and the cowboys draft is solid but no. Stepnoski see above
  9. Ya that's a great point - two hall of famers in the same draft. But Terry Bledsoe ran this draft Bill had the 86 draft and got Kelly to sign his drafting wasn't brilliant though especially on the higher picks 87 - Roland Mitchell -2nd round....David Brandon 3rd 88 - Bernard Ford -3rd round 89 - John Kolesar- 4th round 90 - JD Williams- 1st round 91 - Darryl Wren- 3rd round 92 - James Patton-2nd round....Keith Goganious 3rd round....Frank Cmet-4th 93 - John Parella-2nd round....Russell Copeland -4th We've had more than our share of Travis Tillman and Erik Flowers since this is just to show even a brilliant mind like Polian had a lot of swing and misses and some foul balls. But we they did was draft well late- Butch Rolle, Mark Pike Keith McKellar, Howard Ballard, Martin Mayhew, Carlton Bailey, Jeff Wright, Lodish, Marvcus Patton, Mark Maddox, Curt Schultz and many solid playes were all guys under Polian they took 7th round or later, something we all know now doesn't exist. Kiper always mentions the FA after the draft signing being key and I think a lot of people poo poo it.
  10. money owed to Cassell and Brodie - cant keep a third vet to much cash
  11. If Jackie Chan had two playoff appearances in two years as a head coach in the NFL I might have been funny
  12. Thigpen had 10 consecutive starts in 2008 for the chiefs over that period- 192-330 (57.8)- 2216 16td's 7 ints and 3 more rushing thats 19td's in 10 games as a FIRST time starter with a bad team, poor o-line and one receiver All our QB's this year went 254-439 (57.8)- 2737 15td's 19ints and 1 more on the ground that is 16 touchdowns but in 16 games as VETERAN starters witha bad team, poor o-line due to injury and a good ground game and multiple recievers I'll take a 25 year old first time starter versus our collection of never was veterans Willing to bet a guy would develop with the same coach in year two
  13. What you fail to recognize is the era he played in this is before throw it on every down, before no touching the reciever when he left the game where was he ranked. Guys are gonna blow past Jerry Rice and Carter as well but they also deserve to be in the hall of fame. During his playing career he was the second best wide out in the league and I think he's gettin in
  14. There is a reason he was snatched up again to work with a future franchise QB. The guys a good coach inside of 5 years he will be O-coor again somewhere
  15. DING! wait around for Bruce to make a play that was the scheme
  16. guys a good football mind we just didnt have the QB's to take advantage of it.
  17. This is from the 80's on- Best Bill Ever easily Bruce Smith on top of his game for a long extended period of time blocking schemes set just to contend with him......most important Bill - Jim Kelly brought confidence and got the ball rolling to other good players..........Most underated Bill Eric Moulds- this poor soul has cappy qb's almost every year but was still very productive......most over rated Phil Hanson - constantly drawing single coverage many times the TE -beat someone bro your singled up every snap
  18. Possible the dumbest posts I've read on here definitely top 5
  19. I'm on the Thigpen train have been since midway thru last year - I think he would fit with Chan perfectly
  20. I dont know playing in THE league for nine years carries some weight
  21. Glad someone else actually lots noticed- it's that awe shucks southern charm. The guy is as smart football wise as anyone we have ever had here his long track record proves it.
  22. I'd like Gunther to come in- we won't be running any sit back cover 2 stuff. He's an attacking coordinator with mixed results.
  23. I'm counting him out 2 5 10 YOUR OUT !
