  1. The player has no say you send him where you can get the best deal. Now a 2nd and 3 or 4 next year I would have pulled the trigger. Adams though we want nothing to do with I don't think anyone will sign him
  2. I guess I trust him because of his track record as o-coordinator, it's lenghty and very good and his short tenure at head coach was good. Basically the only negative was the chiefs stop, but as we saw with Todd Haley they were around 30th on offense and Chan did it with same type of no talent and a no name qb thigpen who they replaced with Cassel. The guy is as respected as anyone I've ever took the time to look into. All his players are amazed at how football smart he is. We haven't had a guy like that in a long time. That tells me the guy knows his stuff, the bears were going to grab him as o-coor until we hired him. It's not like he's some unknown nobody wanted the guy some would have you believe.
  3. No wonder this guy has never been in the NFL as a coach very long. Also it's no wonder why he's never taken anyone to the playoffs as a head coach. Get him outta there
  4. Ya your right we all know Buddy's next move we've been all over what they are going to do - from the coaching change to the staff to what free agents and now who were gonna draft. Read like an open book -
  5. I love how Fitz doesn't have anything on Trent. Ya except his job- the dude beat him out and he's terrible Edwards had a chance to play with two very good, very consistent wide receivers and a good running game- end result he still stunk losing his job. Quit with the excuses the reason the Ownes experiment wasn't a bust is it showed Edwardsis not the guy. I don't hate the guy I was hoping he could step up but he stepped down lost the locker room and it's over.
  6. Dude will be out of the league this year.
  7. McNabb is not as good as he was but he's still pretty damn good. Let's remember, how can you forget what we have been watching. We have holes on this team but a real NFL quarterback can make those holes smaller. Hell with descent qb play last year we are in the playoffs - with a poor run D....with safties playing LB....and truck drivers playing offensive line. Our line has to be better next year regardless of the quarterback and if our quarterback is better then +1. HE also can help Nelson come along and Hardy and Johnson develop our other QB's won't make others around them better and that's what we need right now. Having said all this- nothing better than a two and Whitner or a 3 and Schobel
  8. Bryce Paup couldn't hold Schobel's jock let's be honest
  9. With Big Mikes draft history - really doesnt matter
  10. Don't know if I'm the first to say it but - I think is going to be the starter this year in Gailey's offense he fits the profile of the type of running back he likes to use. We all know they guy is a punk hopefully he'll grow out of it but his upside is much much higher than Jackson and again he fits the Gailey RB profile. He will have a power running game with a banging back going all the way back to Bobby Humphrey to Bettis through Emmitt even LaMar Smith was a bruiser over 230 pounds then Larry Johnson. Jackson is bigger than some people think but he's not a punisher like Lynch
  11. That's the guy - ya Posey at 12:01am beat everyone to the punch. Hey how bout that. Anyone who thinks this is a bad sign is a moron
  12. wow not hard to figure out -QB. With an actual nfl qb our line would be okay I love how Edwards was great until his concussion- look again we had a nice record but he only had a few good series in that stretch often hoping the D can hold him while he figures is out in the first half. There is a reason Gailey has not already announced who the QB is going to be. If it was just the o-line like some on here want us to believe what would take so long in naming the quarterback- "not his fault" but upon further review he plain stinks.
  13. Well now I have no respect for any of your opinions, wow do you watch the games are just drink?
  14. HA ole trent couldnt even beat out Fitz hell he's never beat anyone out, even JP Losman he didnt beat out Dickie proclaimed him the starter. Hasselback is injury prone and too old go get thingpen case closed
  15. the passing rules of the last 5 years have made it EASY to put up 3500 yards in a season even for a mediocre quarterback while back in the late 70's early 80's if i guy threw for 2800-3100 yards a season it was a HUGE year
  16. I don't claim to be the smartest guy in the room but when you throw behind the line of scrimmage 90% of the time your completion percentage will sky rocket. BUT the biggest difference is the advantages to the rules of passing than during Montana early career in 1979
  17. No way he's the guy that's looks good at first but the more he plays the more you realize why he never should play.
  18. Its Lynch he has to be our most well known player.
  19. Anything that is tilted towards good news about the Buffalo Bills Sal and Leo seem to miss. But if there is a problem they are on it.
  20. You know there will be some who aren't familiar with the players, so the must stink if they don't know them
  21. Only one differnce Davis can play
  22. What a wild story I can't find confirmation either but I will say Schefter is always right when he reports these things
  23. He is not a corner he's a safety, some guys are just ball hawks (see Ed Reed). Some guys are not we have one of those ball hawkers. Now is he a sound tackler - no, great cover guy - no but he knows how to be in the right spot at the right time. Other guys don't or when they do get it thrown to them they drop it.
