  1. I've bought in, even though I was on the get Edwards out of here boat. Chan has me fired up for 2011 just trying not to think back to the wasted years of Jauron. His in game coaching laughable, his game planning embarrassing the whole package with the entire league laughing at us.
  2. We might find the roster isn't as depleted as we think it is. I think Jauron and his entire staff were poor game planners but even the position coaches were questionable. The heart of coaching is putting your players in position to succeed and DJ just coached what he knew. What scheme he was comfortable with forget what the skill set of certain players were just do what you know best. Gailey and crew have a plan and idea and confidence to pull it off. A veteran quarterback who seems to be getting a better understanding that you can't make negative plays and stop with the excuses.
  3. I agree guys switching positions and we hoping the Maybins or the Moats of the world can get something done. I do think this benefits the run defense greatly though. The only advantage we have is our secondary is probably deeper than anyone with some real ball hawks
  4. I take a flyer on him what do we have to lose other than him at 40+ years old out playing the other guys. It's sorta like the Flutie Johnson competition. Rob needed to beat out a 38 year old 5foot 8 journeyman quarterback. Looked terrible when he couldn't do it.
  5. Absolutely that comment is flat out wrong. Marv signed him to an extension that was way too pricey, we needed to get from under it. We have a guy on the books that we are paying way to much doesn't know if he wants to keep playing and will be 33 before the first game of the year. The inability to trade him is directly related to his paycheck- nobody is going to take that on. So you end up cutting him and he cuts a new deal with the Texans if he wants for a year.
  6. Because the Sabres realized what the heck are we paying Kennedy 1 million dollars for ? and we've seen all the other teams pick up on our mistake (crickets) Schobel has no trade value with his current salary, no one would take it on
  7. Not sure where you work or live but the Bills aren't going anywhere this has been discussed
  8. basically saying get your butt in camp or are you in or out
  9. he can't hold out too long we already have two good runningbacks if he expects someone to come knock on his door he's kidding himself
  10. Edwards always looks good til the bullets fly for real. You should see him in warm ups nobody better. Like a pitcher throwing a bullpen everythings great until a batter steps in
  11. yes both eyes if your around him he'll steal your stuff and hock it for smack
  12. Hell , bring him in for a look. good point it is harder when you don't KNOW what the other team is going to run
  13. actually thats sounds like this team the last couple years ....minus the qb getting hot part. I'd take it
  14. LYNCH= Lightfoot - clint eastwood
  15. stats are for losers
  16. Az Hakim....at wideout at running back closer to james brooks
  17. now : coming up 30 years in future: Still here
  18. What I didn't mention was the two playoff appearances
  19. Couple things about Chan Gailey- during his last job as head coach I think some forget what he walked into in Dallas over that two year period Jason Garrett had to make seven starts First year Billy Davis was opposite Irvin the next year goodbye Irvin hello Ernie Mills There was no Jay Novacek try David LeFluer instead The well known O-line had changed out Tuinei, and Gogan gone, Stepnoski injured , Nate Newton now 38 You had Everitt McIver and Clay Shriver breaking in The first year Kawicka Pittman and Harvey McCormack combined for 11 sacks to lead the way The next year Alonzo Spellman and Greg Ellis teamed up for 12.5 This was not a great team or even a talented one except they did have Aikman 75% of the time and Emmitt Smith was getting older but still pretty good. Our current roster is possibly more talented over all but the quarterback question makes you feel lost on where we are. I don't think there should be much question on Gailey's abilities he's proven it over and over, he's good. He's a bit of a tyrant, demanding, disciplinarian what a change on our sideline and practice field
  20. players who were whipping boys that we should have kept QB-Doug Flutie RB-Joe Cribbs WR-Chris Burkett C-Ziegler is a good one G-Rueben Brown for sure the dude was good LB-Sam Rogers guy had to stay at home to flack for it but was a good player DT-Sam Adams CB-Nate Odomes
  21. AHHHhh the memories but he was better known as Jerry "arts" and Crafts
  22. It's cause he's black isn't it...admit it
  23. I always wondered if he played with actual nfl players, what type of player would he be 6 head coaches and 9 offensive coordinators later we still don't know but we may find out
  24. AND we would have to beat other teams to him
