  1. yes disappointed .....but like basketball if you can't handle the press....they will press all game. Edwards can't handle the press- how can you continue to be suprised they blitzed. It's coming next week too and the week after that and the week after that etc. Can't get 9 guys blocked- nobody can.
  2. A shot he didn't have to take- make sure you MENTION THAT.
  3. Why do continue to miss were out gunned at the line of scrimmage. They have such disrespect for the passing game they have 8-9 guys to our 5-6 blocking leaving then always 2-3 guys unblocked. Nothing will change until the QB play is better. It is embarrassing, it is tough to watch but it won't change until the quarterback can makes some throws or is atleast willing to try. Quit blaming the OL when its 7 of 5 they aren't going to get them blocked
  4. I was at the game it was 9 on six because they know Edwards won't throw it. Until we fix the QB problem the O-line will look terrible.
  5. Thought so too saw it and said that might get overturned - sure enough it did. Right call but was rooting for Lions
  6. we need tackle help for sure but one thing you want to do as QB is not have your first and second down passes knocked down too many 3 and 15 3 and 20 3 and 30.....and at times you have to take a risk
  7. No it's the right call, were just not used to coaching be smart on Sundays. Gailey takes 0% of the blame today.
  8. what ? no no all my national media guys have them at about 2-14.....my local know everythings especially on WGR have them at about 5-11. Who is Cowher dude and what has he ever done in the NFL. Sully and Bulldog and Whitey THEY know what they are talking about.
  9. It's a tough game for tough people
  10. This team is really unknown, hard for experts to predict anything. A quarterback with some skill who's bottom out but now has a coach/offensive coordinator who specializes in making chictken soup out of chicken sh*t. An offensive line that when healthy has some promise especially with a power run game inside. Three running backs that all bring something different to the table. A coach who loves to runs screens and backs who can catch and are good in space. A wide out who shows promise (Johnson), but never given a chance by the previous coaching staff. Then on defensive- good players like Stroud playing different positions. Free agent additions of Edwards and Davis who thrive in a 3-4. Guys like Kelsay who could be very good or terrible and a pretty solid secondary. This really is a team that you really don't know anything about. Even the most involved fans don't really have a feel for what to expect. The national media even less actually way less, they don't watch the Bills - why would they. I'm not sure we understand how good Gailey is but we'll learn quickly
  11. The 3-4 usually brings someone on a blitz, I'm hoping we can get pressure with the three man push cover with eight
  12. I usually don't think the Bills will win at least recently, but I do think they will win this week. The match ups are great
  13. Been PROVEN over and over you don't need to bottom out
  14. I bet we keep all three and Chan uses them correctly
  15. Long returning Thursday expected to play week 1
  16. What do Dallas-Atlanta-Panthers-Texans-Bengals-Vikings all have in common ? Won at Green Bay in the last two years the way were talking on here Packers are unbeatable at home- But I have facts that tell me no they are not
  17. I had the Bills going 8-8 last year against a very tough schedule, although some have this schedule just as hard I don't believe that to be true. Plus Gailey on game day over Jauron gives me high hopes. The only troubling part of the season for me is those last three games. at miami- home for new england then at the jets they will be around 9-4/8-5 with three to go. I don't believe the Dolphins will be anywhere near good (6-10), jets will be a roller coaster (9-7), patriots of course are the wildcard from 7-9 to 11-5 very very hard to tell. There is more talent on the roster than we think it's been under utilized while DJ and crew were here. National media has no idea, they don't watch Bills games why would they? Major suprise party this was a 6-10 team that was talked about like they were 1-15 against a very tough schedule. Again we have some pieces to move around the board and a good coach. I'm going with 10-6 and a wildcard birth, if you look back even last year with a poor run defense and one of the worst game day coaches in recent history. Also this year we're not changing out coordinators five days before the season begins, and starting three first year players on the offensive line. Then the Bills were pulling guys off the lazy boy recliners at home not only to add to the roster but your starting now ! It was the backups backups backups in there for the last 1/3 of the season. If we could have come up with descent quarterback play we are easily 8-8. 9-7 you could make a case for 10-6 on last years team. The amount of injuries during the Jauron tenure we're unreal that can not happen again and I don't think it will. If it doesn't we are going to the playoff boys. (and girls)
  18. We'll B word we didn't go 11-5
  19. That's not the move you make the move is leaving Wood alone and sliding Levitre to tackle...middle stays strong and you have helped one of your tackle spots
  20. QB-Edwards-Fitzpatrick-Brown FB-McIntyre RB-Jackson-Lynch-Spiller WR1-Evans-D.Nelson-Hardy WR2-Johnson-Jackson-Parrish TE-Stupar C-Hangartner G-Wood, Levitre, Wang T-Green, Meridith, Bell, -------------------------------- LS-Sanborn - would love to find someone who can do more P-Moorman K-Lindell -------------------------- DE-Stroud-Carrington NT-Williams-Troup DE-Edwards-McCargo LB-Kelsay-C.Ellis LB-Davis-Mitchell LB-Pozlusny-Moats LB-Tabor-Maybin CB-McGee-McKelvin-Youboty CB-Florence-Corner SS-Whitner, Scott FS-Byrd, Wilson --------------------------------- Hardy only there until Sean Nelson is back then he's gone They will cut Ellison Only go with two guards, Meredith can slide over also they will pick up a guard off the cut pile would love to see them not use up a spot for a guy who only can LS McCargo over Spencer Brown would get claimed if they tried to PS him, no point to hanging onto Brohm so Brown is your three and inactive emergency guy Tabor and Maybin Platoon until Maybin takes over in November Moats only plays ST, not sure where Mitchell fits here but they need a leader to me PS is not a big deal who we throw on there
  21. I doubt Brown would make it through to practice squad. I would waive Brohm he's not the answer either and won't play at #3 so keep Brown and let Brohm go.
  22. Okay this is stupid - going back 40 years for the Jets and Dolphins to find their trophy, means nothing today nor to the current players. The big advantage they all held was coaching and GM, some better players in places but bigger problem was our players in the wrong places.
  23. I was against him sticking around but I totally agree -the release doesn't look different but he's feet do- classic step and deliver and most importantly he seems to get you don't get to hold it for ten seconds waiting for someone to get REALLY open. Still stares down receivers, still can't make a play in the run, still needs to show more leadership....but one cookie two cookie
  24. He's throwing darts- QB available hmm who's not sure or unhappy with their qb- then you throw out a team or three if your right HEY SCHEFTY was all over this. If you miss no one remembers
  25. Here is the sick part of how bad Leinhart has been - "He would be an upgrade over Fitz" -- THAT is debatable
