this might be the most off base comment I've read in here the last three years. A good QB can take a bad line and make them look okay, who does Edwards make look okay ? Nobody I can think of he takes one of the most prolific players at wide receiver in the history of the NFL and hmmm can't seem to find him

BS they had injuries like no other last year. This offensive line is not great but Edwards does not make those around him better including the offensive line.

He's a coach not the miracle worker, the best coach in world couldn't make you a top notch runningback

Yes a fighting chance to win. How many teams are happy with their offensive line ? As Thurman put it you see QB with a good line make plays and you seen quarterbacks with a bad line make plays, all over the league- except here. Our line is not as bad as Edwards makes it look

pretty sure the first part said go to a game and if your listening to the TV two things- your not going to games Randy Cross has your ear ? they are open

haven't you played with guys who kill it in BP or in the cage but can't hit in games ? that's Edwards - when it's live ammo they can't do it

hes 41 years old and in Omaha I was more of the thinking the only hope of a qb developing on this roster is Edwards although very slim. Why not just play it out with him then bring somebody in next year and move forward. No point to Fitz or Brohm they are the same guy as Edwards only less annoying because they haven't played as much. But when you consider the other young players who have to grow Edwards prevents them from getting better in that light I could see switching to Fitz. We are two games in one against a SB caliber team we weren't going to beat with Peyton Manning playing quarterback. I was hoping for 2-2 after 4 games which is still possible and 1-3 is very possible. Next four the schedule is a a little lighter. Your 2-0 chiefs bear and bucs will be 4-4 half way through hopefully us too.

Yes as far as Cross goes years ago he came on the scene being outspoken and respected as a former good player. As we have watched him as the years go by he has gone from studio guy to second team in the booth then third quickly dropping each year to where he is now the scrub guy who does the Bills games. I've learned listening to him earlier in his career he's an idiot clueless to what's going on in the league a lot like dumbdork as well.

Go to a game in person not just watching on TV...Evans is open all the time but he's down the field Edwards is scared to make that throw or doesn't have time becuase they blitz every pass play because Edwards can't burn them.

hey bud we don't have the players anywhere close to who the packers have. Many have predicted the Packers to be in the superbowl. Secondly we have schemes that work but not the players to run them. They have better players plain and simple. On the offensive side Edwards is a joke but he has been for quite some time this isn't new. Peters made Edwards look bad, Incognito not good enough, Jonathon Scott nope not on this team, Langston Walker Derrick Dockery your all the problem not Edwards. Terrell Owens you can't play anymore etc etc etc. HELLO FANS it is Trent he is the problem. The QB of the future is not on this team. Jauron brought in Fitzpatrick knowing he wouldn't beat out his boy Edwards. Only oh no! he did now what? He's lost the locker room again. I give him the Patriots game then they have to make a change for the rest of the team.

yea your right ole #5 has been brilliant not just today but everytime out there. Next week is it for Edwards...ha 4th and 11 and runs out of bounds. Sums it up- we have no quarterbacks on this roster. The blitz every play because because Eddie can't see it coming amazingly. It's a carbon copy every week until you get an actual NFL qb behind center. There is no risk to blitzing for the opponent what's the worst that can happen a complete pass for no gain ? Edwards has lost the team AGAIN Chan's going to have to make a switch but to who ?

yes what disturbed me was Coach Gailey claiming you can't play no huddle the whole game and we know that. Why because coach doesn't get to call the plays ? I know a couple of teams that were fairly successful doing it that way

With actual NFL players he is, with this group its trying to get water from a stone. Gailey has had his offenses as play caller 6 times in the top half of the league. In the last 10 years we've been from 25 to 30 8 times. The guy knows how to build an offense and has proven it. Takes a little time- like more than a game??

Schottenheimer - schmidt is a genius I can see why he wants to stay. Driving that offense ? Thats a fast car Brian both hands on the wheel

NO were suppose to blame the offensive line for everything

actually it works the others way, once your qb play is descent they can't bring the blitz every passing play or hang out at the line of scrimmage to shut down the run and the pass. When they rush 8-9 we can't keep in 9 or 10 to block.

yes he looked lost...funny how we stink out loud on offense and play well on defense and people are bitching about Poz, Stroud, Kelsay and others. Kels was brutal but we didn't lose this game on Defense

You guys just refuse to get it....why were they running for there lives...because they have 9 guys at the line of scrimmage because they know Edwards won't throw it downfield. Quit blaming the line its the same merry go round. Line is not good and Edwards makes it worse they only have to play the run
