The offense is a lot better than last year - especially considering our average starting position last year and the number of turnovers they had especially the interceptions with a return. This year no turnovers and their kick returns are not close to what they were last year. The defense is getting better despite not having a pass rush or a pass rusher either from the D-line or LB's. Kyle Williams for all his accolades it STILL underated. This year is about developing and getting better finding a base to build from. Finding players on the current roster and Chan is doing that.

this is a great question because if he can he's a top 10 QB in this league. Of course when is a good time for an interception ? Good teams the defense comes out gets a stop and it doesn't kill you, but this team right now has such a small margin for error every turnover is a killer. I don't know if he "learn" more but I would lean towards yes. If so improve the pass rush get some LB's and we will be viable for a playoff spot next year.

Some of us on here won't like this but as the saying goes it is what it is. Schobel was a HUGE part of the defense you had to scheme for him. There isn't anyone on D the opponent has to scheme for- maybe Merriman can provide a spark

to me the whole things revolves around a lack of a pass rush. Without a pass rush you rarely get turnovers. Our margin for error is so slim because we do not get interceptions any poor throw or mistake is the nail in the coffin. Other QB's who throw picks it's no big deal or just part of the game because they get turnovers too. We do not so Fitz mistakes are magnified or anyone elses.

He is here for one reason and only one reason. To get Maybin to buy in. 50/50 at best
