  1. McShay had them drafting a CB too his reasoning though showed he didn't watch the Bills this year and is going off of interception numbers
  2. we've had a professional GM for less than a year
  3. How do you pick this year - year one of a new coach and new GM to be make or break? We finally have football people in the right positions. They are cleaning this team of guys who can't play and finding the ones who can. Wrong time to jump off but you can get back on later.
  4. V jacks is problem player- hold outs complaining etc. Wouldn't touch him
  5. Maybin is only 21 - bet they don't waive him yet
  6. do we know this guy JUST turned 21 in November. He's far from done- for that reason (Age) alone I bet they hold on to him for another season
  7. how hard was that too look up he was a ninth round pick for the Houston Oilers claimed on waivers by the Bills in November of 1986
  8. ha hilarious...well good keep kubiak one less team to worry about
  9. are you kidding me Taylor Martinez is a one trick pony can not throw worth a crap. He does have great straight ahead speed but NFL no and quarterback no. Not to mention his dad always sticking his nose where it doesn't belong- Martinez is going to be booted as seasons end anyway. Hello college number two probably UCLA after three different high schools.
  10. well the Colts will be resting their starters....but he smells
  11. no one respects the pro bowl...I can remember Shane Conlan played 8 games and made it ....one year Howie Long got hurt in his fifth game but still made it. Kyle Williams is all-pro player ssshhhhh!!!
  12. with 6-7 maybe 8 job openings after the season I'm sure Fox will land another head coaching opportunity.
  13. Kyle Williams is a pro bowl DT, he might be one of the best DT in the NFL. Not sure why we don't want to believe it.
  14. Agree on Spiller and the Jets wont play the Jv's
  15. not only that but I guess the Browns will be given the "rare" seventh playoff teams slot - just for beating New England. Seriously people are we close to NE - not right now. Are we close to a playoff spot for 2011 - yep.
  16. thanks for pointing that out...I was asked how is Mayo there and my reply was we don't have a tight end so he just can run around hammering guys.....also concerning was not getting beat we would have to play very well to compete with the pats and didn't but stuff like 25 year old Poz not able to cover 38 year old Crumpler-- not thier number one tight end, not the number two but the number three tight end, and Brady didn't have to slip into a tight window either he runs our turns around and our #51 is just mystified but the move. - just one example
  17. so which is it enough talent around him to win or they aren't good enough can't be both- are we good enough to beat the best team in the NFL ? nope
  18. If we were loaded on defense you could play Whitner and get away with it. But- of course we are not loaded and he's no better than Wilson or Scott if at all. How often when Scott or Wilson are out there do you think oh I didn't notice Whitner was not out there?- I'll speak for everyone when I say all the time. He's a dime a dozen player with a little extra splash of leadership.
  19. Why did we forget how slow footed Audre Davis is- I do not want that dude back. I think we'll stay 4-3 or some type of flex
  20. guess i'll say it one more time. If you are just counting wins thinking somehow that will translate into more wins the following year, your an idiot. Everything is better this year, we compete we play like a pro football team. Last year they play ultra conservative, boring run the clock so we don't get killed football. Played a weaker schedule and ended up with a few more wins and going nowhere
  21. I've said it at least a dozen times in my prior posts. You cannot throw out the schedule of who we have played and how well we've hung in with the top teams. If your going to base it on wins and losses your an idiot- maybe if take over an 11-5 team then you might compare records. We are such better position right now it's eye opening, we are on the way to being good for a while
  22. championship level of what ? high school - do you ever go watch high school football it sucks
  23. you can always "get lucky" but to win consistently you have to build, believe, and learn how to win. But I do subscribe to willing yourself to wins especially the good teams. Might not play great but find a way- Patriots are a classic example as is Pittsburgh over the last decade. You don't always look good, but for a team that is rebuilding there is a process starting with showing up each week, compete then take step two then three.
  24. met in in person nice as could be- does not look like Chan atleast when Chan is on TV
  25. he just turned 28 two days before thanksgiving, and he's not a beat up 28 either. He's almost exactly a year older than Aaron Rodgers and Eli Manning and a year younger than Phillip Rivers as examples. Fitz has atleast 6-7 productive years left and this team will make the playoffs in 2011 and be better in 2012 and 2013 even 2014 at that point Fitz will be 32 an probably have another 3-4 years left. The guy can play he's proven it, the throws today were as good as anything else we've seen to a bunch of no names wide outs and and no tight end behind a make shift offensive line - but lets just forget all that because that doesn't fit the argument- what are you a republican ?
