snoozefest- sorta a weird year not a lot of great teams -just paper tigers, former great teams now old and need to reload. Patriots a bit a fraud with a toothless pass defense all year..Jets - good team without a good quarterback despite 2 number one receivers, a good tightend- very good line with solid running game smoothering defense etc. missing the one piece although certain o-lineman are getting old. Ravens very much like the jets but the defense is getting old fast....Colts much like the Patriots in need of some younger players on both sides....Chiefs nice story very weak schedule in a poor div- tough schedule next year and Steelers who are solid but not great by any means get to go due to well there is nobody else. In the AFC just seems odd no younger teams ready to strike and the Pats and Colts and even Ravens are getting older. NFC some fakes like Falcons of course not only 7-9 Seattle but in a pathetic division. Bears like Chiefs nice story but a product of a weak schedule. Packers are a team that looks a year away but due to lack of descent teams guess what, your in there. Tampa might be the one up and coming team along with the Packers who could be good for a while. Gives everyone hope knowing those playoff spots for 2011 are hardly nailed down

do I get his defense too ? If it's just the players Fitz is a lot better than Sanchez not really very close but if I get the Jets defense with him I'll take Sanchez or any other NFL QB that comes with the Jets D and that O-line.

This offense is not a west coach crossing patern dump it off high completion percentage offense. If Fitz is "around" 59-62 % he's fine. The email about needed 10 more completions really sums it up

If you took the DC position with the players we have and were required to change to a 3-4 without the players to do it, which the head coach finally realized about week four allowed then to go to a 4-3. Still no players on defense that is not your fault, no pass rush, no LB's etc. Then after one year your told your out because our players are good enough (which is essentially what you would be saying) who would want to fill those shoes. You don't just keep switching coordinators every year - there is NO reason he should be fired. Was I upset with him - yes in a way but I'm asking for marginal players (Pos, Kelsay, Whitner) to make plays for us because we have no one else. Also the LB's we ran out there were comical, this year wasn't as much about the X's and O's than the Jimmy and Joes.

agree but you also have to figure in Fitz ability to run and toughness- I trade a few % points for a guy who can take a hit and can run

Because we have no players on defense....could easily replace all the d-line man with the exception of Williams...all the line backers...one safety and no lock down corners. What do you expect without a pass rush or the players to do it. We do have some young promising players in Troup-Carrington-Byrd even McKelvin but the LB situation is among the worst in the league can't cover, can't rush the passer and aren't very good tacklers as well. 42.5 total his last 4 full seasons....yeah he stunk.
