Drew Bledsoe Comments on Buffalo
CardinalScotts replied to Nix Buddy's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Third stringers ? Like Who Willie Parker- turned out he was pretty descent rushing for over 1200 yards the next three years in a row. Antwaan Randle El - Polamalu had a sack, Larry Foote has a pick. Tommy Maddox started his third game that year. Third Stringers ? hardly As for Bledsoe he's just a bitter guy, he was replaced by a guy who went on to greatness, flamed out in Buffalo and Dallas. His career was headed for HOF after 8 years and quickly turned far far away from the hall. -

Do we now vote on the super bowl champion ? Why read this crap I told you probably atleast 10 times on here Clayton's info is pretty good, but predictions on teams, how players will do etc. is terrible- like stop doing it bad. Right now we are first in the AFC east -
Tony Romo vs. Mark Sanchez...."Battle"... of the
CardinalScotts replied to OCinBuffalo's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
No they had good fantasy numbers so that makes them good quarterbacks -
He will write chiefs are terrible

Couple thoughts- Offense: Chan called one hell of a game. For week one Fitz makes some good throws missed on a few others. Fred was clutch tough runs, coverting for some first downs. I thought Chandler had a real good chance to be dangerous near the goal line- turns out he could be dangerous all over the field. Defense: We knew what the Chiefs were going to do Waiting on the short dump off pass, tackled very well Played with energy, played together Special teams: setting the tone McIntyre forces opening kick fumble Lindell keep adding to the score Moorman couple bombs - what's exciting is we can play a lot better yet.

Pretty typical as of late- which is too bad guy was always first class

honestly the 810 zone on Broadway in Kansas City is THE place to just hang out watch TV. It's in the plaze- I can not make it this year my brother will be there though !! (at the game) -
tough as they come...tremendous arm. The shot to Rashad against the Raiders on a Monday night had to be 80 mph

Jerry Sullivan says: This Roster is a crumbling
CardinalScotts replied to papazoid's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Jerry ripped on Lee Evans - now when we trade him it's an awful move. Whitner and Poz to him were wasted picks- they are gone and now we'll miss them. On one hand we were the worst defense in the league last year, on the other we should have kept those crappy players. Which is it Sullivan- answer: Which ever fits the column on that day Evans was called out by Chan at the end of last season and again during the off season, he doesn't have any interest in running the routes Chan prefers in the passing game. That's why he was traded Jerry likes to argue and switches sides is easy to him. Patriots drafting the last 4 years is worse than ours, but don't mention that and he wont'. Dallas is so screwed up on salary they have to start two rookie lineman, but don't mention that and he won't. He's paid to move the needle on radio or sell papers, not to be liked. I he has to change his position on things okay, if he has to write a column that isn't that way he really feels that's okay too. The newspapers are closing their doors all over the nation, at this point it's anything to survive -
Arrowhead was a tough place to play, for some reason the Bills have played well there as of late. The experience of playing there three years in a row should help, also that town hates Cassel if he struggles either with the injury our defense or a combination they will turn on him. Bills 27-13

If we pick them up its just "because they are home town kids"...they aren't any good. Pats picked up who ? Colts grabbed who ? Damn it why don't we ever move on free agents !!!
-
and why not? DIVISION WINNERS: Patriots - already considered them a lock- minus a Brady injury Pittsburgh - should be there again thank you to Browns and Bengals for smelling again Houston - if manning is out as expected it's Houston's to win San Diego - class of a terribly weak division the rest of the field? WILD CARDS: Jets- where did they improve the team ? Edwards out Plax in that's about equal...a lot of close games last year A LOT beat Broncos 24-20 late, Baltimore 10-9, Lions in overtime 23-20, Browns in overtime 26-20, Houston 30-27....maybe they can do it again - odds are they can't. Baltimore- a much tougher schedule, this is not a 12 win team again closer to 10. Last year 8 games against teams that won 5 or less (yes including the bills) 8 games that is half the schedule- not this year. REST OF THE FIELD: Dolphins- as big a mess as anyone no where near the playoffs Cleveland- I like what they are building but not playoffs this year Cincy- rookie qb - no where near playoffs Jacksonville- probably not thinking playoffs, dumping Garrard Tennessee- rebuild process underway - could be in the picture Kansas City- that schedule alone will prevent playoffs Denver- probably not in the playoff picture Raiders- their defense is worse than ours Colts- if manning is out, second procedure likely - they are done Buffalo - ya why not !!

[closed]Patriots Recent drafts
CardinalScotts replied to thurman34's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I know -it is sick- but the free agent pickups usually seem to work out for them. I shouldn't be a recipe for success and they haven't won a super bowl 7-8 years but still make the playoffs. -
Is This Team Improved or Not From Last Year?
CardinalScotts replied to box0life's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
OL- same TE - better although nothing to sing about RB - better spiller in year two will be better than year one QB - much better Fitz getting first reps all camp, a year in the offense etc. WR - same Lee wasn't much of a factor before hurt, Easley moving in Roscoe back from injury DL - much better Derius for Stroud allows Williams to make plays and Edwards to contribute - good depth too LB - much much better - if healthy Merriman a difference maker, Barnett or Pos hmmm are you joking, What doesn't Barnett do better ? Morrison no throw in DB - same although mckelvin not developing, mcgee healthy would help ST - same Coaching - Wannstadt a tremendous add This team is nowhere near the same they are much much better and considering we played 9 playoff teams last year I don't think that will happen this year. -
Cassell allegedly has cracked ribs
CardinalScotts replied to CBD's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I don't see Casell as Mr.Blood and Guts, IF we can stop Charles we have a great chance to win. Chan will keep their d off balance - get a road win anyway we can -
Impossible to single out one game- The stretch from 1988 thru the 1999 is a 12 year run that was really special- Only two season with losing records - almost all my good Buffalo Bills memories are over this stretch Looking back the 1989-1993 teams not only won games they crushed teams The last 11 season 9 losing seasons Still some great memories at the time -Flutie, Moulds, Peerless Price, Bledsoe, Quinn Early, Alex Van Pelt, Jay Reimersma - but these were always on losing teams. Looking back how great a head coach double G would be once he left here, never another sniff Mularkey was suppose to be a great mistake to let him go, never another sniff Then DJ takes over with Camp Jauron - players loved him and not getting beat up at practice I feel we've have the best combo gm + coach in place since Butler Phillips and in year two of a three year build we are close. I hate when people group Nix and Gailey in on the 11 year drought- they have been there for one year. We let Evans go - I liked Lee but he doesn't fit the crossing routes and the body off the defender route Gailey like to run. The other vet release is Hangartner who was over powered by DT nearly every game. Fitz will make the line look good enough - I'm ready for some new memories moving forward

Offensive Linemen from the Past
CardinalScotts replied to BillyBaroo's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Jerry "arts &" Crafts Jamie Nails Markus Hicks about 1100 pounds of worthless football players. Wade Phillips comment on Nails "He's so big though even if he doesn't get the guy blocked it takes awhile to run around him" Does anyone else remember this comment ? -
Took how many post before someone finally realized the kick returns aren't going to happen- despite our good kick returners I think we end up better off with no returns for us and no returns for you. Should only help our defense not having them at the 35-40 nearly every time

CardinalScotts replied to CBD's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
thank god Jauron is not running things...when this would happen with him we wouldn't pressure the inexperienced QB- never understood that -
DING !!

And if I argued Evans doesn't fit Chan's offense- which he doesn't
